If you have any questions just let me know
In this Video I am showing you how to remove the fur / skin from Squawkers Mccaw so you can modify / hack / repair him
It’s a bit tricky but the main thing is removing the clips that secure everything and removing the wings
Helllo... Your video was awesome! My squawker parrot is not working. I changed the batteries (regular AA Alkaline) made sure connections were clean and lined up, etc. Parrot still does not work. It has never been dropped and was rarely used. Do you think this is a connection issue or a loose wire? Do you do repairs? Thank you.
this is interesting!!! you should do more furreal friends disassembling videos
I just wanted to see what the internals looked like 😅
I’ve got a squawkers where the eyes and beak do not work. I read the beak can be repaired by replacing a band on the left side of the head, but do you have any idea about the eyes?
Here’s a video I did that explains a bit more on the mechanics inside his head
It might help give you a idea
You could have broken wires or a broken motor or a broken or loose rubber band
If you hear grinding then most likely your rubber band is broken

@@kadensreviews Hi Kaden my parrot is not working can you repair it if I send it to you please? I'm in Australia if it's too hard can you recommend someone here thanking you in advance
@@angelabaldwin5346 Id be happy to try and fix it if you wanted to send it
The shipping might be a bit expensive
I can’t guarantee for sure if I would be able to fix it if something is super damaged
hi Really enjoyed the video...having a real hard time getting the little 3 tabs pulled back for the wings. Looks like they are clear and free to pull wing up but could they be glued on?...dont want to break..
I haven't seen them be glued
Its just that they are really hard to remove
@@kadensreviews thanks...I was waiting for your reply before getting to stage 2 aggressive, lol
Do you have any info on the remote controller? Is it RF or IR? Has anyone actually hacked the remote control interface and detailed it somewhere?
It is infrared (IR )
I have a flipper zero
(They are expensive but I think I could probably scan the original remote codes and share it with you if you have a flipper as well
i don’t why… but i always had this feeling that we would be really good friends if we’d known eachother. sorry if i might sound like some bot or whatever, i just wanted to be honest
That’s really sweet
@@kadensreviews i mean we have quite a bit in common, i take apart my toys/devices/other things, can repair them if something’s physically wrong, and also… ᴍᴀʏʙᴇ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴛᴀᴋɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇᴍ ᴀᴘᴀʀᴛ ғᴏʀ sᴏᴍᴇ ғᴜɴ ɪ ɢᴜᴇss. like taking apart the toy story collection buzz for like the 364 time already (i mean seriously ive taken it apart WAY too much) i don’t know just
saying…
so what do you say, friends?
Yeah I always took apart a lot of my things as well
Friends
Hello, I have a problem, today I put in fresh batteries, the peak, back and head sensor did not work, which could be the fault
I’d try taking the battery pack out and trying again
Or even changing all the batteries again just to be sure you have good ones
If that all doesn’t work then potentially something failed on the computer board, or a wire got disconnected
@@kadensreviews
I already put in new batteries and it keeps failing, notice that the head sensor, when I ask it to go to sleep (good night) it executes the command, closes its eyelids and snores, instead of waiting, it wakes up immensely, just like if I cover it eyes or not always responds "I don't see you" I'm going to disassemble to check for loose wires or some other problem, thanks for the reply.
@@user-wl4ez7pg9o hope it goes well!
Sounds like a sensor wire may be shorted / failed sensor
