At first I wondered why this youtuber was doing all this for us? I had a doubt I thought to myself all the other youtubers do this for business to gain views and therefore money on RUclips.
but here comes video episode 5 😊and there you understand the whole mechanism of all these videos which are there to make money views and in addition to sell you their product (episode 5). When they all tell you in interviews the youtubers (all Etsy coaches, don't forget it!!) that the market is not saturated!! hahahahaaa but of course! they all preach for their parishes! but of course that the market is saturated especially at the level of the pod do not let yourself be fooled !! watch episode 5 they are selling you another product: how to personalize your Pod in one click, in one click of course, but how much the click will you pay ???
and otherwise by the way you don't need neither Everbee nor marmelaid , Alura, all that is business !!
      😉

In regards to your comment at 9:25 about how having a lower display price will help to improve click-through rates of customers clicking onto a listing, I feel like it would actually go the opposite way. While a customer might click on the listing because they see a cheap price, they may become annoyed when they discover that the cheap price was essentially clickbait. So, even though you got that click, you have an angry customer who ends up leaving because they feel like they were tricked. At least, I know as a customer, I would be annoyed.

    • @MandyMakesThat

That’s exactly how I feel as a consumer and deliberately do not purchase from those who click bait.

Same here. If I click into a listing showing an adult t-shirt, and then find the price if for a child's t-shirt, that shop gets banned. I wont buy from deceptive shops

I am finding this training to be very helpful! Thank you for posting these.
    1. How often are you receiving requests for full refunds on personalized products? Since these cannot be sold to others, and you are losing money on the cost of the item, are returns very infrequent?
    2. Does this policy apply to large quantity purchases as well (eg 10+ shirts)?
    3. Is the customer responsible for the return shipping to you?
    4. Do you refund the cost of item and the shipping to the customer or just the item?
    5. What do you do with the returned products?

One question I do have is about the guarantee you are giving. I understand that Printify does not do refunds just because the customer did not like it. Hi. What do we put on our Social Proof card if we don't have any reviews yet? Also, why offer a full refund instead of letting them know to "Contact us and we'll make it right for you?" That way, "making it right" could mean a partial refund, replacement by the print provider, or whatever you and your customer come up with together as a solution.

Hi Stephen. Big Thank You! for the series. It's been a good review as I've been trying to implement the advice you gave from older videos (before you released this series). Can you, or anyone, please tell me how to enter more than 20 ish characters in the Etsy Size & Style drop downs when filling in this info in the 'Manage Variations' section. Seems silly but this is one of my biggest hurdles. I need more space to properly identify the product so customers aren't asking questions. I do try to answer those questions in the images, but not everyone looks at (all of) the images or reads info within the images. I'd like to avoid losing these people as potential customers. Is there a 3rd party app sellers use that allows them to enter more characters in these fields? Thank you in advance!!!

Hi Stephen, I understand that it is good to have the lowest price for the main product image, and the larger size costs more. A lot of sellers have a T-shirt in the main picture and if you click on it, there are other types of clothing with the same motive. I think it is a little confusing to the customer. I think better is sell only what is in the main picture. What's your opinion? Thank you for your videos.

Thanks for all your great videos Stephen. Such awesome, actionable advice! One question about today's video - you recommend a price of $17.49 for the Bella Canvas 3001. However, following your profitability calculator recommendations, I worked out that even with $6.99 shipping, I could only make 5% profit on that. I calculated total revenue of $24.48 for the shirt and shipping fee. Then in terms of costs, the wholesale cost of the shirt is $12, Shipping $4.52, Etsy 6.5% fee $1.59, Etsy payments 3% fee $0.73, Etsy payments transaction fee $0.25, Listing fee $0.20, Etsy advertising at 13% $3.18, Customisation fee (HelloCustom) $0.74. That adds up to $6.70 additional costs on top of the $16.52 wholesale cost, leaving only $1.24 profit (5%). It fails your $5 per item profit target. You'd have to be charging $21.25 + $6.99 shipping to make $5 profit. (Or alternatively I guess not do Etsy advertising and charge $18.07 for the shirt.

Or, you could use that shirt color/size combination as a loss leader to drive sales to your shop which would in turn, increase your ranking so that you could get more organic sales at your higher color/size combination SKU's.

I am extremely new to this, so thank you! I am creating my first few items on Printify and cannot figure out how to do the sale prices, or use any models other than the very generic looking ones. Are you using a different vendor for products like these? So far, I have made an ornament and a pair of panties. The ornament has no variants, so I used the auto-generated context photo of it on a tree. For the panties, the model provided is very simple, and there are just size variants. Are you using something besides Printify for items with more variants? Or are you doing all of this from your Etsy shop?

Thank you for all this information, it has helped me gain confidence in listing my products. So far I have not been successful, hoping this will change that. How do you create the "Master List" that you refer to? Warning....I am not tech savy :). Thank you so much!!

Love this video! Am I correct in understanding you are not offering free shipping or the $35 free shipping guarantee, but the $17.49 price point helps you complete with stores that have a lower price point but would offer free shipping after $35?
