hey brotha love the content its helped a lot. can you do a video about the post order process? like what happens when someone orders something and how to make sure its fullfilled on both etsy and printify correctly including shipping settings and whatnot? Also, how custom products are completed after an order is sent in and how to edit the product on the printify side after. sorry if you have done a video like this before i just havent seen one anywhere from anyone or just didnt find it. thanks again for the help and content!
Alek, You sir, are what the internet needs more of. Wow! Fantastic information! Question - would you mind creating a demo and/or clarifying how customization and POD work in more detail? Would that customized order be created manually by myself for the customer? Or...? I'm not sure I understand. Thank u!
Hey Alek, could you do a video about avoiding scammers when setting up Etsy shops? I was just scammed hundreds of $ by scammers pretending to be ETSY needing to verifying my account just as I freshly started my Etsy store … within mins/first hours of setting up my store.
I’ve been doing a lot of research. My problem, and it’s a very, very big problem, Is that the print on demand companies charge an arm and a leg for their products. The products cost way more than things people can purchase on Amazon and also the shipping time is way longer. How can this business model be competitive?
nice ideea, but there are many factors that influence your revenue. there are cost to publish and hold the items on marketplace, transaction fees, payment processing fee and advertising fees that you have to pay. it's not impossible tho. no one spoke abot the fees and that you have to pay listing fees :))))
Thank you as always for sharing your knowledge with us! Quick question - My mid journey prompt box STILL says “coming soon”. Any idea when they will be releasing to to others? TIA😊
Thanks for letting us know how to make money. I’m going to look into doing this. More people like you should let more people know how to make money from businesses. I thank you sir!

Thank you for this video and your linked guide. I've been looking to jump into selling on Etsy for quite some time and this is helpful. FYI, your guide has an error which makes things a bit confusing where you say: "Doing this would could get your shop temporally shut shown" Obviously the sentence is not correct English and I'm not quite sure what you are referring to as you don't specify what it is that could get our shop shut down. If you could clarify that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Exactly. It's never this simple, but also you need money before to make such money at a rate like that. That dude probably ran smooth ads with a good budget. You can't organically just quickly make more than half a million dollars in just half a year using only the algorithm. If this is true, which I leave some big room for, as there are a 1 in a million people out there, there's a lot he put to this than just organic sales.
If it was easy everyone would do it, his videos just show that you can do it. Take what has value and move on. At the end of the day its you that need to move, he isn’t going to do it for you.
Hey, I really like you're videos. One thing that would really interest me is how to start such a businesses and how to sell internationally, so the paperwork and the rules and where you would have to pay which amount of taxes, how to create such a company, what else you would need to take into account BEFORE selling stuff on the internet legally and how does that work. Thank you!
Etsy handles a lot of this on their end. While you should obviously do your own research, I've found it better to start selling and then get things figured out if any sales come in. Other wise you end up spending a ton of time trying to get things set up right, instead of actually selling.
great video Alek thank you - can explain in more detail how the custom products work - after the customer makes the purchase and includes their custom info how do I get that info printed for them or is it done automatically?
If you choose to do the customized option for mug designs, do you have to manually edit all the designs yourself, or is this process automated in some way?
Isn't there a LOT more involved if you personalize it? Don't you have to add the customizations in Canva first, then go over to Prinitfy and upload the image to the mug, then create the order for the customer?
The listing process on Etsy is what I find takes the longest. Even using your uploader , (thank you !) not every listing can have the same keywords , titles and descriptions. Can you make a video about this? 🙏

Does anyone else stopped seeing the actual results when you search for an item? It used to show me the amount of listings, but now it only shows 1000+ listings - no matter what I am searching for?!
Followed most of the proccess just to find out A. Etsy doesn't allow stores in my country B. Etsy does not allow you to receive payments in banks from my country C. Even if you have a bank in one of the countries they allow, you still cannot open a store without an actual address in an allowed country. That's the dumbest of the 3 limitations tbh.
trust me you just saved yourself from wasting countless hours for 5 sales over 6 months, selling the same trash AI design mugs that 10000000000000000000000000 others are doing, for ULTRA low tickets. This guy is a BS merchant of the highest order.
They offer a free tier, but keep in mind that images generated with a free account cannot be sold due to usage rights. Only paid plans come with a commercial license, which grants you the right to sell the images you generate
Thanks for another great video and some much needed information. A little while after watching your previous video on this topic I started my own Etsy store selling mugs (through Printify). Admittedly, I only have 52 mug designs so far, but I've still not made a single sale, lots of views but that 's it. I don't have a budget for marketing, I do have a Placeit account and I do use AI for my designs. However, I do feel I am missing something, so the question is "Am I missing something?".
Great dude so your 50+ shitty AI images aren't selling. Want a hint? The market is saturated with this AI crap. People like you are making it hellish for real creatives. People probably aren't buying your stuff because it looks uncanny and it's soulless.
@@alekSheffy 54 tacky stolen pieces of art not enough? I noticed all the comments I've left about how unthetical this technology is have all been deleted. You realize in some areas is 9/10ths AI art on etsy right? The reason no one is buying your stuff is that the market is saturated already
Do you do images for both sides of the mug when not doing wrap around design? Are there any fonts/font packs that you would recommend for beginning designers?
Love the video. Just created my Etsy account! I did notice though that a lot of the examples used that show successful mugs selling were selling them at a percentage off. Does this have to be the case for a successful shop to always be discounting the products?
It is really interesting that the mug didn't sell for over a year then took off. Puts a bit of perspective to the advice that if it doesnt sell in 2 renewal terms remove it! Thank you so much for great videos.
bro do you have completely separate shops by type of products or niche? like in your mug shop its just mugs that's it absolutely nothing else gets in the mix?
Be careful everyone, he says "in profit" but that was actually the revenue in the beginning. thats NOT profit. the profit was most likely MUCH less. either way still a worth while side hustle that could turn main
@@alekSheffy youre whole video you keep conflating revenue and profit actually. "its done $xxx" but again it says "Revenue" where you are saying profit. revenue != profit my guy

Hello Alek, the poduct uploader works only with PRINTIFY? And could you make more bulk design videos and maybe a video how to use mockuop createor if you sell other products, like tumblers, not mugs and tshirts
Excellent video!!!! I love this channel !Alek why can't I download the uploaded in windows? He tells me it's not safe and won't let me see it. There has to be some way... Thanks!!!!
I have a question. But first - thank you. Great information as always. I sometimes struggle with small technical issues. Thanks for the wrap dimentions. However, I have many designs that are sayings that get printed on both sides of the mug. Is there a standard display area for the front and back of mugs that leaves some blank space in the middle (opposite the handle) and a prompt that tells the AI to print it on the right of the handle and on the left of the handle on the mug surface?
Thanks for this inspiring video! I've created my Etsy shop and connected it to Printify but I'm not seeing how to actually use that part. Do you have any videos detailing this part of the process? Thanks again!
How many have you sold? I can bet with 99.999% certainty its not more than 3. Nobody here will get more than 5-10 nsales in 6 months and you will realise this guy is a false hope peddling charlatan, telling everybody to chase a few dollar ultra low ticket, ULTRA over saturated market, saturated with trash AI designs, while you sit on page 100000 of search wondering what you re doing wrong, while this snake farms you all for clicks and likes, you think he has a 1 dollar profit mug store making,000+ a month yeah suuuuuuuure! No he has a RUclips channel where he farms BS and makes money from your clocks and likes.
Careful buying the ready made PNG designs. A lot of them are stolen and you could get a copyright infringement claim from the author against your shop. A good clue is if the png shop has tons of super cheap designs in a wide variety of styles. Typically designers stick to one style or make series of designs in the same style. If a shop is only selling bestseller design pngs in vastly different styles they’re most likely stolen. Authors have a hard time getting them taken down since they’re obnoxious and counter claiming everything. Myself and another Etsy friend have been dealing with a thief like that.
Alek, another awesome video. Question: How can we type in ratios if we don't have access to Midjourney Alpha yet? (I'm at 225 images and it says it needs 1000) Can you type it into Discord instead of the web? And what about other things besides a mug?
Doing 1 jumping jack on the mars for every like this video gets 🙏

I don't have a budget for marketing, I do have a Placeit account and I do use AI for my designs. However, I do feel I am missing something, so the question is "Am I missing something?".
It sounds like you're missing a lot of listings. 54 isn't enough unless you're paying a decent amount in ad spend.
Great dude so your 50+ shitty AI images aren't selling. Want a hint? The market is saturated with this AI crap. People like you are making it hellish for real creatives. People probably aren't buying your stuff because it looks uncanny and it's soulless.
@@alekSheffy Is there an average quantity you recommend starting out with for mug designs?
50 mug designs isn’t enough? If no one’s buying one out of 50 then wtf
Typically, they always run discounts
It is really interesting that the mug didn't sell for over a year then took off. Puts a bit of perspective to the advice that if it doesnt sell in 2 renewal terms remove it! Thank you so much for great videos.
ill definitely try that, thanks!
Really great advice, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Alek thanks for sharing.
please do a full video on Midjourney thank you so much!
bro do you have completely separate shops by type of products or niche? like in your mug shop its just mugs that's it absolutely nothing else gets in the mix?
Thanks a ton, this was super helpful!
Suggestions when your Etsy account got banned forever for no reason without explanation?
Great video! Learned a lot.
Please make a video on how go design 3d Inflated puffy effect design on mid journey? Please
THANKS A BUNCH, AMAZING VIDEO!!!
Be careful everyone, he says "in profit" but that was actually the revenue in the beginning. thats NOT profit. the profit was most likely MUCH less. either way still a worth while side hustle that could turn main
no I meant profit and then I go on to break it down lmao
@@alekSheffy right above the $603k it says "revenue" in clear text.
@@alekSheffy youre whole video you keep conflating revenue and profit actually. "its done $xxx" but again it says "Revenue" where you are saying profit. revenue != profit my guy
@@alekSheffy I dont want to sound ungrateful though, thank you for the video, im just starting out and your content has been very helpful :) I'm a developer myself and tired of the rat race. I will likely build my own software to help in some way shape or form to assist in this biz somehow, but not if its already been done. I am excited to check out your software
@@the.money.mentor.825 thats why we know this video is useless. now i question all of his videos. for a second there i thought he was real
honestly, thank you so much for these videos, POD/E-commerce seems like a great option for increasing my income and not having it confined to 1 country and you've really done well to explain all the steps and more importantly give us the facts debunking the get rich quick schemes that are so prevalent in this space.
I honestly feel so sorry for you, you are about to waste so much time for nothing all because of this snakes BS
YES! JUST WHAT I NEEDED, TY!!!
Myself and another Etsy friend have been dealing with a thief like that.
youre the only real person in this comment section, all the others are this guys paid bot accounts
@@MousyTTR haha! I doubt it. His content is great.
hey Alek great video, what was the prompt for the bear, giraffe and the fox?
very helpful, worth the watch
There is the sales pitch 2:59 I was waiting for
AI is certainly capable of infringing copyright and could face serious legal challenges in the near future
Why doesn't printify just do this themselves? What do they need you for?
The version of Midjourney does not appear to be available to everyone. Does he have a video with a more current available version of Midjourney
you just convinced me on doing it
Alek, another awesome video. Question: How can we type in ratios if we don't have access to Midjourney Alpha yet? (I'm at 225 images and it says it needs 1000) Can you type it into Discord instead of the web? And what about other things besides a mug?
wow what great content! Thanks so much!
