Hi Alek, I have watched all of your RUclips vids. I have started an Etsy shop for mainly clip art but things are going pretty slow. I have sold 6 items in a month!! I have 118 items for sale. I notice that as soon as I sell something, viewings go up. Weird! It’s celebration time each time I do have a sale. Love your way of teaching, really inspiring.
I had a clothing line. I agree. People buy bLack, Gray heather, white and Red, maybe one blue - in that order of popularity. No need for more than 4 or 5 colors of T shirts.
I tried this once. Had a hard time narrowing it down past 7. I had Black, White, Heather grey, and I think the rest were Red, Blue, Heather Peach, and Heather Sky Blue. How do you think I could improve on that?
I started an etsy shop using AI and some editing skills about a year ago. I had about 100 designs by the end of the year and sold over 450 items. It litterally started from watching a video on how to use printify/etsy ans use midjourney. Although I didn't become super rich from it, some of the tips you gave I wish I knew beforehand. I think I should have stuck with one item and I think I should have not experimented with two many genres of art. One thing I didn't know is you can open a multiple shops using the same EIN so it will still all fall under the same buisness. So this yeah I'm going to try to focus on one item and take some of the tips I saw from you other videos. Litterally been binging all your videos. They are all so helpful.

I like how print-on-demand is free of risk.. like it can’t possibly go wrong, right? Well, some countries *require* you to have an e-commerce/e-trader license beforehand! So if you’re flat out broke in an another country as a foreigner, when going into this side hustle you MUST ensure your success in under a year, no exceptions! @@Exorcistt94 in English it means the same thing, do them or use them 😉 but yes, everything on Etsy accumulates VAT. There's a list of countries that this affects on the Etsy website. It's really absurd. If you think you're spending $10 a day, you're actually spending $12.30 per day if you live in Poland like I do, plus another 23% on the processing fee and the transaction fee Etsy charges. So it really makes it not worthwhile at all to use ads unless you have a high profit margin. Especially if you live in a country like Poland where every $1 USD is 4 zł 🥴 it gets expensive really fast
@@KateTheMama nie wierzę, Polska to naprawdę nie jest kraj dla ludzi xD. A pomijając reklamy podatki również tak bardzo zżerają? Hi Alek! I must commend you and say that you definitely INSPIRED me to start with print on demand "challenge." Not so much because it might become lucrative opportunity (regardless what anybody says), more as a way of being disciplined and focused for one extra hour in a day without expecting any results. People don't understand that building momentum is really everything and that consistency (doing something 1 h every day indefinitely) will ALWAYS beat intensity of work. In addition to that, how would you compare Printify to Vistaprint as a platforms? I know that you are Printify "type of a guy" but do you have anything to say about selling on Vistaprint as well? Thanks!
Love the mindset explanation! It will be a year of POD for me this August and I am excited to see what Q4 brings! Great info as usual, Alek! Thank you!

All these “the market is saturated” comments are hilarious. That’s like a car dealer not opening up a new or used car dealership because the market is “saturated” 🙃. Where there is a need, there will always be customers. Your job is to be better than the others to get the sales. Everybody is just looking for the get rich quick schemes and not willing to actually put in the time and effort to be successful.
How do you make listings for the same product without making new products? ie Shirts with various designs. Sorry just getting started with this and really appreciate all the info and resources you provide 👍🏼

I truly appreciate your content and insight. Question - If we only focus on one design in the beginning, wont the customer not trust our product as much? In other words, should we have at least a few items to know what products work and don't work and to give customers to trust a store with no reviews? Thank you!

@@Exorcistt94 Nadal możesz korzystać z Etsy i czekać, aż uzyskasz bezpłatne wyświetlenia i sprzedaż.
Great video and great value..first part "momentum" straight from Atomic Habits
Hi Alek!
I must commend you and say that you definitely INSPIRED me to start with print on demand "challenge."
Not so much because it might become lucrative opportunity (regardless what anybody says), more as a way of being disciplined and focused for one extra hour in a day without expecting any results.
Thank you!
and how are you doing thus far?
Interested also, how has the year been.? What have you learnt and how well did it go for your?
Update?
For sure one of the best videos on this topic!
Your videos and line of thought are really impressive, thank you for this! Maybe was already mentioned somewhere but what software do you use for competitor analysis? ❤
Mate, ur super good at these videos! talent my friend
The 9 tip was the best, thank you for include that.
Love your videos and I am going to do this! I do have a successful booth in a store but I would like to try online digitial/POD too now. Thank you for great videos!
“Extremely boring to do” - you god damn right
How do you make listings for the same product without making new products? ie Shirts with various designs.
Sorry just getting started with this and really appreciate all the info and resources you provide 👍🏼
good stuff! this is the first video of yours I have watched and I got a lot of good info out of it and I subscribed and will be watching more. Thank you for this :)
More people need to hear the last part! You will have to endure those months where you are not paid to do the work before you start seeing the results.
suffer for etsy SLAVES LIST THE AI ART BIGOTS
Love the Dave Ramsey reference 😂
Thanks Noodles & Company!
Absolutely fantastic explanation and visualization about what’s happening! Thank you 🙏🏻
whats happening bot?
Hello, I am from Iraq. Can you teach me to win?
Okay, Alek. I'm in for the long game. I mean WTH, why not? Liked and Subscribed! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and I celebrate your success bc that's how the universe works - in doing so, whatever's yours is mine. :) Also, good luck to everyone else on here!
you would be better off casting a spell to generate wealth than the 90 thousand postings you will need on etsy to get one sale
@@undeadducky7729 I hear you. Funny thing is I’ve started getting pretty creative w some ideas and having fun w it. I’m not looking to create “wealth” and have 0 expectations which is why I posted “why not?”. Just having fun being creative and if that resonates w anyone once I list, then no harm. But I do hear you on the wealth bit. It’s not a quick to bank kinda gig for sure but then again that’s what Alek is also trying to explain.
The process will work if you do!! Nice one!!
cant wait to start my pod
absolutely incredible info! thank you so much
I love your videos. You give always the best informations and many details that other people not say.
taking these tips. ill be back after my 100th and 1000th listing. Wish me luck
Good luck
me too..
How are things going for you?
honestly, I get the wrong understanding from this video, maybe it's a language barrier.
Because I m not in the position of spending money. I need a free module.@@fromtheashes8498
thx for the subtitles in brazilian portuguese,im not so good at english and this helped me a lot!
Thanks for the great content. You say to focus on one product to start and then later you say to post tons of items on your shop. With the one product, how do you go about mastering it and selling it?
I truly appreciate your content and insight. Question - If we only focus on one design in the beginning, wont the customer not trust our product as much? In other words, should we have at least a few items to know what products work and don't work and to give customers to trust a store with no reviews? Thank you!
I really appreciate your videos Alek. About to start my store in the coming week!!
in the coming weeks? clicking create account from your phone takes a lot of effort for you? guess you are gonna have some trouble once you see you need 20 thousand listings that cost .20 cents each and 99% of your shit wont sell
@@undeadducky7729 coming week as in singular... not plural.. and has nothing to do with the difficulty of opening and etsy account... seo research for the types of products to create and actually playing around in midjourney learning to create better art.
And I guess with that type of mindset why would you even try huh? Appreciate your guidance tho?
The time it takes to make a decision increases with the number and complexity of choices

wowww didn't realize PP credit card gives 3% cash back! Gotta get one. I've been using a 1.5% card and happy about my cash back but I could be getting twice more! thank you.
I am a big fan of yours just one question do you recommend starting a Single Product Store for Father's Day? If YES then Which Product Type should work best e.g. T-Shirt, Mug, Keychain, Phone Case, Notebook, Canva, Cutting Board or something else?
Good on you
my man....this is a very great video :) It is on par with your midjourney video. Thank you for what you do.
glad you are easily amused
by near end of vid i was just too distracted by the absolute bangers this guy chooses as is his background music
This was an incredible video. Thanks for so much great info
THANKS A BUNCH, AMAZING VIDEO!!!
