Hi Shimmy, FYI - Dylan's course is $2,500 without coaching but it can cost more than 5K-10K with unlimited coaching (depending on the length of time you choose). The reason why I know is I was one of her students. In my opinion, her course is good if you like driving your own traffic through social media (which I don't like to do) and if you have a handmade business (she's really good with strategies on that because her shop is handmade). I have a print on demand shop and I struggle mostly with design and her course focuses mainly on how to run a business as a whole and they don't teach you how to design, etc...If someone is new to print on demand, and have a limited budget, I recommend Cassiy Johnson, Heather Studio and Simply Shawna (you didn't mention Shawna here but she's great) for free content. I agree with you, I would NOT spend that kind of money on a course on etsy.
Cassiy Johnson actually gained momentum for her shop by using trademarked items like Disney etc so her success was not done honestly and certainly she isn't one to emulate.
Shimmy I had to come back here just to thank you. My husband randomly saw this video & sent it to me, and we were like “why arnt we following this guy & the God tier already?” which led to us binge watching Chris’s 21 hour Ecom course this weekend. It was infinitely better than a $1200 course we’d bought from someone not even on your list. We’re now massive fans of you & Chris, thanks for the new path you set us on!

Hi Shimmy, Thank you kindly for creating this video. I have been very concerned about who I should be following lately. I appreciate your time and efforts that you've put into place to research these people. You are honest and straight-forward with your opinions. You have answered a lot of concerns that I’ve had regarding a lot of these people. Also, reading the thread of comments from other people on your channel has brought forth more information and eliminated some POD gurus that I’ve been wondering about as well. I’m looking forward to watching the upcoming round 2 of Exposing POD gurus strategies.
Could you maybe make a video on what tasks or things that must be done daily to keep up with the shop? Is it only about the marketing aspect + making more design. A good day of what can be done to increase success would really help understand the workload, thank you!
I like Joe and I have to say honestly that he’s really improved over time. Years ago I didn’t like his content as much bc it was too salesy and aggressive for my taste, but now over time I like it a lot. He’s softened in his delivery and I am taking his free printify course and paid for an inexpensive course for fb ads. I find him to be a great teacher and paces himself well. I think his strategy is worth considering to not rely on marketplaces etc.
He's very good but he has a stubborn streak that causes him to say silly things at times. Like his constant dissing of Etsy, even though he hasn't tried it. The reasons he gives are just what he's heard others say, and largely untrue.
@shimmymorris1 I was put off him as he always says, "Don't sell t-shirts with silly sayings on" and then he did a video for Kittl using their slogan generator on... yup, t-shirts. EDIT: I did pay for Joe's course, about $500, and it does have good content, but said content is now freely available, albeit for t-shirts, but you can apply the same principles to the sort of products Joe sells.
@@shimmymorris1 $2500 is for lifetime access to her video courses (which you can view with no expiration date). It goes up if you want unlimited coaching for a limited time. For example, $6K for 10 weeks of unlimited coaching, etc...
This video was genuinely so helpful. I really appreciate that you'd openly share and discuss these other teachers who are essentially your "competitors." I personally came into the POD space through Joe Robert's content. I've really agreed with his strategy of Shopify + social media, and it also made sense to me that selling higher-priced products (not t-shirts) could make it easier to be profitable with paid ads. But now that I know about you and Chris Heckman, I'll have to dig deeper into how both of you make paid traffic work with t-shirts, too. In any case, I'm with you on building your own brand/store. I sold a previous online business, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me financially.
Philip, Juna are my all time go-to channels, love their professionalism and kindness so much. Also, make a round2- Shawna, Mandy, Hannah, and Christina (CU Online) are also wonderful ladies to learn from! And I guess, we pretty much like you too ;-) 😀
Thanks, Shimmy this is awesome. I'm 69 and have just started out on RB, TP, Society6, and Zazzel. I've been doing t-shirts and patterns for the past four months. I'm happy you have Juna up top I trust him. Can you do one on Mey Aroyo I love her honesty.
Do you mind adding the names/channel names for each person mentioned to your description? I know I can pause after each name and search for them but it would be easier to just tap on each one. Thanks for the video, very very helpful!
Shimmy, I've been following one of your lower ranking sellers for a few years now. This was actually a little heartbreaking, but eye opening as well. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't making any headway in sales, and was just trusting the process. After your video though it made perfect sense. I have lost so much time doing the wrong thing. I really appreciate your transparency and you've definitely just gained a new subscriber and follower. I'm going to hit your videos hard, I have a lot of catching up to do. Thanks man.
Thank you for your video! I'm just starting out, no shop yet, but something weird happened to me looking around (as a shopper) on Etsy last week. I went on the website, looked at two t-shirts from the same seller and the next shirt I tried to look at went to a page that gave me a message like 'You have visited too many products (?, can't remember the exact word) lately'. Wish I would have screen shot it. The message came up twice, once again after I looked at mugs or something else. I thought to myself "Why would a company selling ANYTHING try to drive clients away." Really blew my mind and made me wonder about even using them at all. Not sure I will.
Thanks. I like this video as I'm trying to figure out passive and getting out of amazon tier 10 as well as maybe who to learn from if later next year if I'm on a stage 2 and move to start a shopify store.
I appreciated this video a lot! :-) I've been flip flopping between various content creators on here as I study, and honestly Im not yet familair with any of them enough to know what their specific strategy is. If I could make a suggestion though. In future edits, perhaps you could put the full names on the videos, perhaps under their pictures, or on the screen when youre talking about a specific creator. Failing that, links in the description to each creator would be amazing. Im not sure familiar with their full names or what their channels are called, and so anything to make it easier to go search for their content 🙂 Cheers!
Agreed. Shawna's content is very "actionable" and perfect for a beginner. It makes sense that she'd be great at teaching POD since she was a teacher. She kinda feels like a POD big sister which I love.
@@shimmymorris1 what’s nice about Mandy and Shawna as well as cassiy is that they address the emotional hurdles around starting this type of business and the tenacity you need to succeed. This is something that many you tubers forget about, but it is essential for the process to reach your goals. I was a teacher myself so I appreciate that these people make mention of this, mindset, overcoming hurdles, etc, bc success in business isn’t just abt following the steps, it’s also about challenging your own demons and insecurities when stuff gets hard and figuring out a way around them. I don’t think is a coincidence that these you tubers are women also.
Jay's Way is my favorite. But Juna and Philip are super! One topic I'd love to see you tackle is, selling personalized shirts vs general audience. I'm starting to think Etsy is better for custom stuff. It seems I'm coming to a fork in the road with the platform I want to really pursue
Hello Custom is working on an integration with Amazon - will give Etsy a run for their money! I also love Jay's Way! He's going to be one of the teachers for the Hello Custom/Amazon integration.
I second Jay. However, you may have trouble finding his RUclips videos because he only just started doing them more. I have been utilizing his tips and coaching since 2020 when he and RJ had a mastermind with someone else.
Yay!! I am so glad you did this! Just what I needed this morning. I was really dragging today and I don't like coffee, but this helped me get going. Love, love Juna!!
Hi Shimmy, I was interested in knowing about WholesaleTed, Sarah, she talks about Shopify with Printify, ptint on demand, but im not sure, I like her, but need to know more, can you include her if you do a part 2 of this video? Thank you.
I've been doing at the print on demand game since January watched probably thousands of hours on the subject you're the first one naming names... I need to see this lol
You always have the best content. Did you see your videos are in the back of a segment on CNBC talking about Etsy sinking like a ship? It was cool to see you there!
You forgot the most important one ECOM KING. He's the biggest ecommerce youtuber & the first channel to post those full 5+ hour courses on RUclips, which was normally only available thru paid courses. Other channels followed him & did free full courses but he started the trend.
You mention the issues of Etsy vs. Amazon. Is there no value to creating and uploading to both sites? Or is it too much work to upload... I figure since you're doing the designs anyway why not try both and see what works better? What would you suggest?
Great video, thanks. Fwiw I got suspended from Etsy for no reason, and I hadn't even opened a store yet. Can you profile Wholesale Ted? She seems very good at this as well.
I am in Dylan’s course and her strategy is not only for POD. Her thing is helping students building a business starting with Etsy then she helps graduating Etsy if we choose to be independent on Shopify. Her strategy works for any type of ecommerce business. I don’t say the course is the best, the coaching part is very frustrating to be honest because they are all over the place and you don’t get one person to answer your questions. You get 4-5 coaches and each one of them have a different style so you end up more confused… But honestly the amount of information they have in the course is amazing. She teaches how to find trends and what type of products you need to add to your shop then the pricing strategy in phases. I think the course itself is worth it but coaching is not
Hi! I’m a Dylan student too :) I’m sorry you didn’t love the coaching, to me it was the best part! But yes I agree that she teaches so much more than Etsy, she teaches BUSINESS, which is pretty awesome
@@rachaelwelch123 I am a complete beginner and I didn’t have a shop or an idea of what to sell. I talked to her before joining the course and asked about that part specifically she said they will help me find my ideal customer and things to sell but that is not true. They just gave me general ideas and nothing for me to start with. I am really disappointed. 2.5 months into the program and I’m still scrambling. I feel like this course is designed for people who already have a handmade business and want to grow it. Not for beginners. I politely sent them my feedback hopefully they can change something
Great Shimmy - thanks. I'm gonna lookup a few of these guys that I haven't yet seen. I wish you'd add the guy at 'Etsy Mentor' (George?) if you do this again. He's similar to you in that he's a real straight-forward guy. At least, that's my take.
I wish you have done this video two weeks ago before I signed up for Dylan’s course and paid $2,000 for her “Strategies”. The course is not bad , but there’s no guidance after watching hours and hours of videos. I feel like her course is more suited for handmade Etsy shops, though they do have successful POD students as well. The unlimited coaching calls are around $7,000-$8,000 😂.
@shimmymorris1 lol I doubt it. According to more than 20+ people I've seen on the Etsy subreddit, she's sent almost everyone to collections when they've tried to pull out. She's a god tier SCAM ARTIST.
@@shimmymorris1 She does not permit refunds, no. I believe that the company she has who runs credit checks on potential students and handles the financing options also is the company that does her collections (although I don't know if they handle the court filings to recoup the money). The whole bit about not sharing the price of her course online (except for her "how to set up an Etsy shop" $1000 Quickstart) and the aggressive sales tactics with her "free call" remind me a lot of timeshare pitches. But because I enjoy data analysis, I was able to take videos that she shared on Instagram/RUclips/Facebook, comments from her students, and looking over her students' shops and actually piece together the key things she loves to promote from her course (7 types of products was accidentally shared on an IG live; FB strategy can be figured out by looking at the pages for her students; aggressive pricing strategy can be pieced together by observing her students' shops; etc.). It probably took me about 20 hours over the course of a year to put it all together, but that was a much better investment than the $3000 course for me!
Hello Shimmy, thanks for sharing this. Please provide the names and/ or the channel links for the top two tiers' people. I am subscribed to a few but not all of them.
All the one you put on top I’m following them plus you , good stuff, should try I follow few of them … I was with Shopify but then switched to my own website, how do you advertise your shop? Google or fb ads?
I started Jordan Brown's 18 hour ecom course, but I haven't finished it yet. I was intrigued by it because I hadn't seen someone post something like that before. I'm curious about your thoughts on him.
Good video I have now subscribed ... for me though I have just opened an Etsy shop like 6 weeks ago so very much finding my feet with it at this stage, I will probably do Shopify and hopefully Amazon eventually but for now I prefer to use Etsy
For me, Dylan is actually the one I feel I have learned the most from. I have watched most of the Etsy-based creators and would say she has the most scrappy, clever, and aggressive strategies out of the bunch in my opinion (although I still love Cassiy, Heather, and others). I have not bought her course so I can't speak on that, but I do know that she focuses heavily on scaling your business very quickly so that you are hiring out everything and making 6 figures fast, so I think some people buying the course may not realize that and are looking for a different kind of business strategy advice? Does feel very expensive still though.
Thinking about switching from Etsy to Shopify because I liked the experience and I liked the freedom it gived you. Can you explain the Shopify fees when it comes to sales? Everyone knows Etsy charges its fees plus the 20 cents per listing per sale. I think Shopify has something similar to this right?
The reason you are getting various reports for her course is she has a typical high ticket sales model and you have to call in. Based on your resources during that discovery call you get an offer that "fits" your situation 😉
I love this, thanks! 1 person I would add is Starla Moore. She's got a lot of great Etsy content. I will have to go back and take notes on the people you've mentioned Shimmy! 😅 Too bad they weren't listed in the description, but there are plenty of good reasons not to have.
Hi, so interesting. I paid that amount too for Dylan course and I was thinking about coaching but hell no, that’s too much money that my Shop is not making. What do you think about Starla Moore?
No, Alex's strategy is to steal from people who have really good ideas and flood that market niche. I don't think I've ever heard him come up with an original idea. I put him at a never tier and that goes for anyone stealing an idea and makes a hundred variations little different from the original and calling it their own. He basically destroying the person who came up with the original concept. What a nice guy. I also disagree about anyone using Ai to create t-shirts unless it's a variation of their original artwork.
It's called business. You move slow, you'll get left behind. It's not about being first, it's about doing it right with respect to your driving incentives, e.g good product Vs profit... Etc people should expect competition. Amazon's own branded goods, are from doing the same thing!!! Stealing profitable ideas.
@@dan-dv2tn There is a big difference from seeing a great idea and using aspects of the concept in a different way than just taking someones idea and stealing all of their customers. If you think that just stealing an idea and stealing customers is great for you then you may want to reconsider, because one day you could find yourself in a lawsuit that could cost you a lot of money. Be original, get a trade mark, get a copyright and warn anyone who decides to infringe on your product. If they don't listen sue them for all of the money they were making off of your product plus damages to your product brand. Never lie, never steal, never think that you are better then the guy who came up with the original idea. Never take advantage of anyone. If you do it will cost you sooner or later.
Yes, I completely agree about AI. It should be banned because of the theft of people's original art under the guise of "training" the developer's software. But I have to disagree about the idea or concept use. Ideas are NOT able to become registered with the US Copyright Office. And there is a good reason for that. Anyone can have an idea. Whether the act on it, or not, and if they do a terrible job at expressing their idea or a great one, they cannot gate-keep an "idea" or concept and do not own it. IP (Intellectual Property) on the other hand, is tangible, and can be registered with the US Copyright Office, so that if it is copied or misused and abused by a lazy thief, the artist or Copyright holder can demand their copied work be deleted from a store or platform and go after monetary compensation. There would be no competition in any products if gate-keeping of ideas was somehow enforced, which would not be even possible. Everything we use everyday started as an idea. Cars, furniture, clothing, cell phones, airplanes, films, recipes, books, paint colors, etc., the list is endless and all these things started with an idea. Many people have ideas, but don't develop them, or do so poorly. No industry, whether it is a product or service, can grow without people building upon past ideas and coming up with new ones that they and others add their own take onto it. I do hate when people are lazy and cheap and outright steal other artist's, designer's and companies' IP, but as I said earlier, that is a Copyright theft.
Simply Shawna has a good channel centered around building a POD business on Etsy. She’s a former teacher so she has a great teaching style. I tried Dylan’s channel but wasn’t into her style of teaching. I want to say it comes off as less informative - like gives small tidbits as a way to get you to buy her course whereas Cassie and Shawna give you essentially everything you need to know to do what they have done. I applied all of their info and was able to do almost $300k revenue in my first full year. In order to make 6 figures I need to double that and I am trying. It’s definitely not easy 😅I’m starting a Shopify now based on your advice. I’m clueless about Facebook and advertising strategies though. Are there professionals who can do this? I have no idea where to start. I don’t have a social media presence.
@@Stunnaz84 I mean in order for me to personally profit 6 figures, I need to bring in about $600,000 in revenue. Not 7 figures. I did about $300,000 in revenue last year (my first full year). This year I need to double it. I am on track to but it’s not guaranteed. I still need to keep up my momentum and effort.
@@Stunnaz84 to be clear, if I do $600,000 this year, I will make between $120,000-$150,000 (excluding sales and things like fees for canva, Kittl, mockups and taxes). That’s my goal for this year. My profit margin is between 20 and 30 percent at the moment, depending on the product. I keep my prices competitive, and I run ads and sales often. This is on Etsy only. This year, I will have spent less on mockups as I’m now fully stocked with a large variety. I do plan to increase my ads budget though as we approach Q4. 7 figures would be nice. I’m not sure how realistic that is for me but I’m hoping that adding a Shopify store will help me increase my income.

I'd also totally agree with your ranking, except that you have been a bit not generous with Joe Robert. He deserves the top rank since he's also been in the business for long, albeit not sharing a lot about his shops, his designs on metal prints is a recent niche, if you check out his previous videos he's been sharing a lot of POD advice on Tshirts. Glad to see Cassiy in the list, I literally stumbled upon her channel when she was only 1000 subs old. Now a top voice o Etsy.

Thank you! Appreciate the support!
I love, Juna! He’s so generous with his information and knowledge.
💯
Thank you so much
Could you maybe make a video on what tasks or things that must be done daily to keep up with the shop?
Nice!! Ye he does have good content
I’d like to know more about FB ads. Thanks will check him out
@SpeedbirdHeavy I agree with you about him being stubborn. I've stopped watching him. Some content was good, but tends to repeat the same course
She should be put at HELL NO! All the comments on Reddit were true! She's charging $3500 for her course which is not worth a penny! Wasted my $3500!!!
I thought it was $2500 or was that the last course... Feel free to email, i'd love to hear your story.
I thought it was $9000?
@@shimmymorris1 $2500 is for lifetime access to her video courses (which you can view with no expiration date). It goes up if you want unlimited coaching for a limited time. For example, $6K for 10 weeks of unlimited coaching, etc...
6k!!!! 🤯🤯🤯
me too. The free videos are worth more than what you pay for her class. she' does help, but i think that's where she makes her money.
I sold a previous online business, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me financially.
oh awesome!! yea we do t-shirts as they're the most scalable and the profit margins are really fine with them
Philip, Juna are my all time go-to channels, love their professionalism and kindness so much. Also, make a round2- Shawna, Mandy, Hannah, and Christina (CU Online) are also wonderful ladies to learn from! And I guess, we pretty much like you too ;-) 😀
Do a part 2 please, thank you for all the work you do when you could just focus on your own business 😊
for sure! thank you
Thanks, Shimmy this is awesome.
Great video, Shimmy - thanks for taking the time to do it. Glad to see Chris up in God Tier, makes an upcoming decision easier... 👍
Good to hear!!! Hopefully that was a WeScale decision haha. If so I’ll see you there ☺️
@@shimmymorris1 How did you guess? 😉
Me 75! If I get the last spot 😂
Thanks man.
Loved watching Chris Heckman's course, and it's free! I'm almost ready to launch my own Shopfiy store due to his course!
Did you launch already? How’s everything going?
Eye opening. Thank you!! Being able to sell your biz with Shopify caught my ears for sure. Great tip.
Could the description be updated to include links to the chsnnels featured please?
I appreciated this video a lot! :-) I've been flip flopping between various content creators on here as I study, and honestly Im not yet familair with any of them enough to know what their specific strategy is.
If I could make a suggestion though. In future edits, perhaps you could put the full names on the videos, perhaps under their pictures, or on the screen when youre talking about a specific creator. Failing that, links in the description to each creator would be amazing. Im not sure familiar with their full names or what their channels are called, and so anything to make it easier to go search for their content 🙂
Cheers!
Shimmy you should add Shawna , she shares good tips about selling on etsy. I do follow all of them . But your analysis is an eye opener. Thanks
Agreed. I think Shawna has surpassed cassiy in quality in my opinion since cassiy blew up.
Oh awesome il check out her stuff
@@shimmymorris1 Shawna is in a word "Amazing".
Love Shawna. The perfect balance of practical application and motivational content.
Agreed. Shawna's content is very "actionable" and perfect for a beginner. It makes sense that she'd be great at teaching POD since she was a teacher.
She kinda feels like a POD big sister which I love.
What about Starla Moore - Handmade Alphas? Where does she fit into your rankings? She does Etsy.
She doesn’t do as much with pod really but she’s great.
I’ll check her content out
Starlas is extremely transparent she and her husband will tell you the course price straight up and with 30 days money back
@@P-Funk69 I follow Starla and I'm pretty sure she has a POD shop on Etsy now, sells hoodies and shirts and other items.
Simply pod with Mandy is pretty good too.
I’ll add to the list
I like her too
Absolutely, one of the best for sure!!
Jay's Way is my favorite. But Juna and Philip are super! One topic I'd love to see you tackle is, selling personalized shirts vs general audience. I'm starting to think Etsy is better for custom stuff. It seems I'm coming to a fork in the road with the platform I want to really pursue
Yes I think personalised on Etsy is the way to go
Hello Custom is working on an integration with Amazon - will give Etsy a run for their money! I also love Jay's Way! He's going to be one of the teachers for the Hello Custom/Amazon integration.
HelloCustom and Jesse Teaches seem to have great strategies. Could you look into reviewing them in Round 2?
I second Jay. However, you may have trouble finding his RUclips videos because he only just started doing them more. I have been utilizing his tips and coaching since 2020 when he and RJ had a mastermind with someone else.
Yay!! I am so glad you did this! Just what I needed this morning. I was really dragging today and I don't like coffee, but this helped me get going. Love, love Juna!!
Thank you!! Appreciate you watching and commenting!
Second hell no to Dylan. The course is complete rip off
I would have put anyone as aggressively pushing an outrageously expensive course in the hell to the no.
Thanks for making this video. I was overwhelmed. Everyone has different ideas and suggestions
Hi Shimmy, I was interested in knowing about WholesaleTed, Sarah, she talks about Shopify with Printify, ptint on demand, but im not sure, I like her, but need to know more, can you include her if you do a part 2 of this video? Thank you.
Thank you, Shimmy! I love this content.
I've been doing at the print on demand game since January watched probably thousands of hours on the subject you're the first one naming names... I need to see this lol
Enjoy!
@Stunnaz84 He'll save you A LOT of time! I wish I had this info when I started 🤗
@@jen3849 too late for me also... 😔
I appreciate you for sharing this, excellent!
You mention the issues of Etsy vs. Amazon. Is there no value to creating and uploading to both sites? Or is it too much work to upload... I figure since you're doing the designs anyway why not try both and see what works better? What would you suggest?
Thank you, Shimmy! If it's going to be a round 2, I'm really interested in Wholesale Ted. Thank you.
Great video, thanks. Fwiw I got suspended from Etsy for no reason, and I hadn't even opened a store yet. Can you profile Wholesale Ted? She seems very good at this as well.
Yes for sure!
What do you think about Fourth Wall as a POD alternative to printify/gelato etc
Great Shimmy - thanks. I'm gonna lookup a few of these guys that I haven't yet seen. I wish you'd add the guy at 'Etsy Mentor' (George?) if you do this again. He's similar to you in that he's a real straight-forward guy. At least, that's my take.
I’ll look him up
Going with Shopify and FB ads option. Do you feel its hard to compete with the Temu's out there selling similar shirts for half the price?
Not at all. I don’t even think about Temu.
absolutely incredible info! thank you so much
„I like my strategy“- at the end was this sentence funny 😂thank you for this analysis, it gave me more clarity who I can trust by following
thanks for watching! haha
Hi, Does Wholesale Ted rate at all?, I know she does lots of other videos about making money online.
Holy shit that’s an insane amount of money 8000!!!! If it’s been 2 weeks surely you can refund no?
@@shimmymorris1no refunds from first second she will send you to collections if you stop payments
@shimmymorris1 lol I doubt it. According to more than 20+ people I've seen on the Etsy subreddit, she's sent almost everyone to collections when they've tried to pull out. She's a god tier SCAM ARTIST.
@@shimmymorris1 You can’t get a refund. They make you sign a pile of documents for it. It’s very scary!
Great analysis. I liked your video on "Exposing This RUclipsrs Print on Demand Business"
what are your thoughts on hybrid platforms like fourthwall?
I am planning a video about that. Stay tuned!
Great and entertaining video! Please do one on Kerry Egeler and Adrian Vonarx. Their podcast/youtube videos are very informative, no gate keeping!
Hello Shimmy, thanks for sharing this. Please provide the names and/ or the channel links for the top two tiers' people. I am subscribed to a few but not all of them.
I mention all the names. I’ll add links tomorrow. But for now you can search their names and all their stuff shows up
All the one you put on top I’m following them plus you , good stuff, should try I follow few of them …
I was with Shopify but then switched to my own website, how do you advertise your shop? Google or fb ads?
Oh nice! Facebook ads mainly
This girl grom New Zealand, Wholesale Ted... I've watched her a lot. Probably a good one for Part II 🤝
ye i'll add her :D
I started Jordan Brown's 18 hour ecom course, but I haven't finished it yet. I was intrigued by it because I hadn't seen someone post something like that before. I'm curious about your thoughts on him.
I’ve watched some of it. It’s cool. Chris came out with one too which I think is a lot better and more pod focused
@@shimmymorris1 Cool, thanks for the response!
Good video I have now subscribed ... for me though I have just opened an Etsy shop like 6 weeks ago so very much finding my feet with it at this stage, I will probably do Shopify and hopefully Amazon eventually but for now I prefer to use Etsy
This was very helpful as I was considering signing up for Dylan’s program.
What about Luna Vega? Any insights on her?
For me, Dylan is actually the one I feel I have learned the most from. I have watched most of the Etsy-based creators and would say she has the most scrappy, clever, and aggressive strategies out of the bunch in my opinion (although I still love Cassiy, Heather, and others). I have not bought her course so I can't speak on that, but I do know that she focuses heavily on scaling your business very quickly so that you are hiring out everything and making 6 figures fast, so I think some people buying the course may not realize that and are looking for a different kind of business strategy advice? Does feel very expensive still though.
oh awesome, good to know!
Ye there’s very small fees. A percentage plus a little cent
And when you get paid via PayPal there’s also a small PayPal fee
@shimmymorris1 thank you! Is there any kind of profit calculator you use for Shopify or do you do the math breakdown yourself?
@@shimmymorris1 Is it worth it to pay these fees to Shopify, rather than building your own website with integrated shopping tools?
Dylan’s course is $5000 plus for extra 1-1. That is a hell of a lot of Etsy Sales to get. 😮
Ye that’s crazy!
The reason you are getting various reports for her course is she has a typical high ticket sales model and you have to call in. Based on your resources during that discovery call you get an offer that "fits" your situation 😉
Rock you brand does Etsy and building brand to take to Shopify email marketing
Cool
Shimmyz bringing the HEAT! 💯🤙😆
thankss!
@@shimmymorris1 you're welcome!
I felt let down when you put Juna in Should try section, but then you moved him to the God section and put a smile on my face :)
Is there any video that you have which is full tutorial from creating store, ads and everything?
I love this, thanks! 1 person I would add is Starla Moore. She's got a lot of great Etsy content.
I will have to go back and take notes on the people you've mentioned Shimmy! 😅
Too bad they weren't listed in the description, but there are plenty of good reasons not to have.
I'll be putting Starla Moore in part 2 :D
Hi, so interesting. I paid that amount too for Dylan course and I was thinking about coaching but hell no, that’s too much money that my Shop is not making. What do you think about Starla Moore?
Since coming across this video, I have 2 new faves! Simply Shawna and Jesse Teaches
You mean 7 figures? Lol
@@Katsmom6 that's awesome hoping I can do that this year or next

Serious question here, if you could(or would) share,
How long did it take you to start making good money just from your pod business, after you were serious about it and put in the work and hours needed?
3 weeks to make some money, but that was with ads. Would be significantly longer without. Around 3 months to make something that can replace a 9-5

Hello, this content is spectacular. I am Latina and although my first language is not English, it is super clear. I want to ask you if these strategies are for beginners or for people who are on a path in Print of Demand. I understand that the Shopify store is heaven but it requires financial strength and a lot of study for someone starting out who would like to start generating soon. Could you make a video with this methodology with strategies for beginners? Thanks

It was mainly about their current strategies. And personal opinions. I’m not the biggest fan of metal signs. I don’t think they’re that scalable. That’s why. He’s got great content though
