    They say the truth will set you free! This presentation ABSOLUTLY DID THAT. What a refreshing change to the sea of confusing information surrounding POD. I was just at the point of giving up on POD as viable way to earn a living online, when I stumbled across this video. Got my sights set on the paid program, hopefully before the early bird special ends. a HUGE THANKS for these fantastic insights.

    That's super interesting, thank you for making honest and no BS content. It's hard to know who to trust these days on RUclips. As I'm in the uk as well, wondering how do you launch a store in the US? Do you need a bank account there or can you connect your printify and shopify accounts to a UK business bank account? And aren't there sales taxes that need to be paid in the US? Thank you, will check out your communities!

      @@shimmymorris1 can one open a bank account like in Portugal and then pay tax there even if one has not moved yet, but due to POD, working online nad being a person who likes to travel while working? what rights do we Europeans have to make POD work so that one pays the tax in the European country with the lowest tax?... I live in the highest tax-paying country right now, so to me, this issue really matters to get started the right way and not end up ruined by the tax office, we got 68% in tax for small companies ... help is needed to make this work in a better way.. thanks!

    When people buy a shirt on Etsy, do they click right through to printify and they handle it or do you have to collect money, pay printify and manually process the item?

    • @askinnaklivre
      @askinnaklivre 3 месяца назад

      I think that you have to collect money, pay printify, but if you integrate your printify with amazon or etsy which is not free "I guess" they'll process the item for you.

    Thanks for sharing. This is very informative! I’ve been thinking about POD but want to use my own original art. I’m just wondering if there’s any point nowadays with all the AI designs and bulk postings flooding the market. Just something to think about too.

  • @WhitneyMiddleton-qi6ko

    When you use Shopify and customer places an order, do we instantly get the money from the order so we can then pay printing to fulfill that order. If we don’t have a credit card or money upfront to invest.

    Really interesting video and a fantastic framework but I think you should add what I would consider an important point, you did touch on it but only as a side mention "your target market". Without having a clear market in mind and I am just realising this myself you have no clear destination for style, designs, production partners and what products are available in your target market area. So really early on you need to decide who and where as that will start to dictate your pod path. Having been firmly on the fence for the last 6 months I am starting to see a path, for that I thank you

    • @shimmymorris1
      @shimmymorris1  3 месяца назад

      Yes, the first step is picking your niche, that is your target market... None of this was to detailed as it was just the overview of the framework. But you are right, the target market is very important and it's the first piece of the puzzle

    • @JaGorman-gw4og
      @JaGorman-gw4og 3 месяца назад

      @@shimmymorris1 morning, by target market I was thinking more location, Europe, States, Asia, UK etc I think this will effect your choice of niche, supplier, branding and more, example gardening is a great niche for many places but may not be so popular maybe in a sandy Arab or Africa country. Until I watched this video it never occurred to me tbh.

    When you say "Shopify", what you really mean is selling on your OWN website, right? That's regardless of the platform it's built with. I know Shopify is ready to use out of the box with all the SEO tools available, but is there any other business advantage to using Shopify specifically over an ecommerce website hosted elsewhere?

      It’s not a simple training course where you sign up and take it and that’s that. . We’ve been building this out for 8 months. The course is a tiny element of it. The 1:1 support and the community is the biggest element of it

      Thanks so much for mentioning this. I was just looking at Prinifty recently and trying to narrow down which ones to try. I had bad luck with Awkward Styles for my first POD (even though they did refund), but I had to redo my Shopify listings with a 2nd POD. I invested heavily in samples with Custom Cat, but again, I am disappointed with overall quality (even though customer service was great). So I will give Swift POD a try. Thanks!
