      Thank you for doing this. I recently created my LLC, biz banking the whole nine yards to sell on Etsy and was immediately blocked. My long term goal was always to sell on Shopify and use the Etsy funds to smooth the educational glidepath anticipating I would have some bumps along the way (which always seem to cost money). I've immediately subbed here and am now working on that course. Unreal timing. Thank you Chris and thank you Philip for doing this interview.

    I’m curious about his critique of Printful. I thought it was more consistent than Printify, but maybe not as cheap.

    please answer this: i can't creat a store on shopify because of payment getway. in my country i need stripe so i need LLC. BUT can creat a shop n zazzel and driving trafic to it through facebook ads. it is a good ideas to build a business or i have to use shopify?? thank you

    • @PhilipAnders
      @PhilipAnders  3 месяца назад +1

      You don't have to use shopify. Print on demand also works on other platforms like zazzle. Chris just recommends shopify for various reasons but it's not the only way

      @PhilipAnders  3 месяца назад +2

      @@DS321o he just released a 20 hour free course on youtube jam packed with value and he's not forcing anyone to buy his paid products. Sure many sketchy people exist in this space, but don't assume that everyone who makes shopify content is just a "fake guru" by default.

    The margin on POD products are so low. How are you able to maintain a profit or good return on ad spend with FB ads? @ChrisHeckman

    • @ChrisHeckman
      @ChrisHeckman 3 месяца назад +3

      Think my previous reply was flagged cause I put a link to a google sheet profitability calculator. But great question and the TLDR is our CAC is ~$17 and we sell tees for $26.99 + shipping and our AOV is 1.7 shirts. (Which substantially lowers our COGS)

      @@Ciaran-pc2lc Great question! We aim to keep our overhead costs around 2-4% of gross sales (i.e - $100k /month in sales = $2-$4K for overhead)
