How did you prepare for your online business before launching it? Do you have a separate bank account for each store front? No one ever talks about how they structure their PoD businesses. Do you have everything owned under one company name/LLC or do you split business ownership with the whole Brand company, Holding Company and Trust company model? If you do split them, do you have a different bank for each? What kind of impact does even trying this, have on your taxes?

Thank you so much for your helpful tip! I was able to verify the person and book a call session with her. She seems very proficient and I'm really grateful for your guidance
I did all the research, paid for canva pro and made designs, opened an Esty shop with my digital art and even paid for ads on Pinterest. I got NO sales. Its been probably 6 months or so and I feel defeated. How do I get people to actually BUY my digital products? I did get a ton of traction but no bites. That's my biggest issue. I even made amazon KDP journals, even did Pinterest ads for those and nothing! I would love to even get a 1:1 training with you. Ill pay for it lol. I just need help with this. Please let me know if you would be up for that OR if you could just give me any tips/guidance. Thank you
What do you create? Are you getting honest feedback from family and friends? Is your art very "niche" for a unique kind of person? Keep in mind that most people don't buy real art or good art, they buy trendy and cute stuff that many artists might find tacky or beneath them. For example, I'm stuck in between; artists call me a designer and designers call me an artist. Also no sales.
Did you try Etsy ads ? Also selling digital art can be hard because now days because anyone can create digital art using ai. You have to find an unsaturated keyword and target that audience
This is amazing! Thanks for sharing. I've been thinking about selling digital products and I don't expect to really sell much because I as an etsy shopper myself I noticed that the niches are saturated. First video of yours that I ever watched and subbed 2 minutes in. Really like the cut of your jib. Keep pumping out the good stuff and best of luck on your two stores. Really looking forward to seeing what your digital product is about.
Thank you for including your perceived optimal pricing and for clarifying you aren't yet doing print on demand. I was curious about that earlier in your video. I tried to create a digital shop several months ago selling tileable textures, but got deflated feeling like I had to sell a set of textures for just a few dollars each in order to make a sale. After several months and after creating about 30+ sets of textures, I made a little over $150 and just kinda lost steam, since it took so long to clean up the files out of midjourney, to digitally create the display images and figure out the seo. The little profit I made just didn't seem worth all the hours of effort I was doing, and despite my efforts, it seemed like a long road ahead to even hit the eventual 1k profit mark. With all that said, your video makes me curious to try again and either revisit my past shop and adjust some things, or simply start a new one. I respect you not wanting to reveal your new shop just yet, but I was wondering if you would be willing to share how many total products you had listed on your shop for sale by the end of those 3 months? The reason being is because I've heard it's hard to make money on a digital only store if you have less than 100 or so products on your store page, and since my products were texture bundles, to create over 100 sets of textures seemed admittedly overwhelming.
@@Metal-Spark Why are you being rude? I thought this was a place where we could learn together and uplift each other. Not tear each other down. But to address your sarcasm, it actually was lots more work than I initially thought. Tileable textures aren't as easy as just asking for a random photo from midjourney and calling it done. I had to photoshop a lot of the textures I generated to correct issues with the patterns and remove odd artifacts so they would match up correctly without any distortion to the imaging in the patterns. Then each texture had to be upscaled in a separate program, and then converted to a DPI of 300 for printing quality. Add to that all the time spent in photoshop creating custom mock ups to feature & display the created patterns, especially since each item sold was actually a bundle collection of textures (often between 6 to 12 individual textures). Then there was time spent creating a custom video for each product display as well, and finally researching SEO to use when publishing each item. In total it was easy to spend 5+ hours on each bundled product. Add that to the fact I also work a full time job and have a wife and kids. It's not as easy as you might assume and if you doubt me, give it a try yourself and let me know how it goes.
@@Old_and_Wise I'm not going to feign nicities to protect the feelings of someone using plagiarism as the foundation of their business. AI doesn't work without stealing mass amounts of data from real artists and you're directly competing with actual artists who are attempting to create businesses within the same sector. Thieves dont deserve common courtesy and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
@@_My_RUclipsNo, I don't think I will. As in my response to OP, AI doesn't work without stealing mass amounts of data from real artists and he's using that plagiarism machine to create a business that competes directly with the artists who've been stolen from working in the same sector. Why exactly is my rudeness considered worse than his plagiarism? I'm not going to be nice to someone who builds their business on theft. And anyone who thinks rudeness is somehow a more important issue than data laundering and plagiarism that directly affects the livelihoods of hardworking people needs to seriously rethink their priorities.

I finally did it through building up my clients and getting some larger jobs, but I realise now that I really want to be financially independent. Making my own products has always been in the back of my mind, but my priorities were elsewhere.
I'm sure you hear this a million times a day, but I really struggle with coming up with ideas. You say to find inspiration in the things you know and I know art, but I just can't think of a problem to solve within that space.
This is awesome Tim! I think what matters most is that upward growth. You results are all positive news!
Bro! I dont remember when I was this immersed in actually listening to someone talking about business. Keep up the good job!
This is really good content. The authenticity is refreshing in a world of "guru" videos that is secretly selling you their affiliate marketing products in a sales video disguised as a guide.
I love your videos. Really inspiring and also calming at the same time. Thank you for sharing and enjoy hearing about your successes.
I am a coach in the field of self-esteem and find the purpose of your life since 1997. I sold my first seminar ticket in 2000 online, started selling audio books in 2012 and so on. Your video helps me very much, becoming aware of the advantages of my business and that of the future coaches I will teach.
It's the first time I see a video of you. I subbed immediately. Great job! Thank you. 🙂
I think this is amazing results especially for a new shop in a competitive environment. Great video!
Your tone of voice is so calming, and the content is thought provoking and inspiring. Thank you for sharing! I’m subscribing 😊
Great video! I really admire the way you've organized it and your calm presentation style. I found it insightful to see the results upfront, but I struggled a bit with clarity. For instance, I was curious about the number of digital products you've created and the time it took to develop them. Looking forward to more of your content!
I second this
Thank you for giving an honest presentation. I'm not even sure who you are or what you do, but I am subscribing and liking every new video you release just based on the fact that you are keeping it real. I hate all of these dishonest unrealistic goals being set and promoting that everyone can expect it to happen for them. It's just click bait. You are keeping it real. I cannot thank you enough. You are the real deal. or as my sons would say.... you're the GOAT
Okay but your shop and product is actually incredibly unique and clever, less than 1% will have your level of clever marketing and design. Well done
i never comment but this was such a good video. i'm just starting with my etsy shop with physical products and it's not going all that well so i was looking into switching to digital. i subscribed and plan on watching the rest of your videos because you have such a calming delivery and direct way of speaking. thank you for motivating me!
I really love how sincere and honest this video is.
Im repeating what most comments have said but your authenticity and showing what we wanted to see in the first 10 seconds are amazing and please dont stop
Making money should be a routine. The secret to making a million is making better investment.
Consistent and smart investing is key to building wealth. Making informed investment decisions regularly can significantly increase your chances of reaching that million-dollar milestone.
You're right! I've been in touch with a financial advisor ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture, The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.
Please who is the consultant that assist you with your investment and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch if you don't mind
Angela Lynn Schilling is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thank you so much for your helpful tip! I was able to verify the person and book a call session with her. She seems very proficient and I'm really grateful for your guidance
The effortless, well-structured, and direct narration made me clicked the subscribed button. Plus, the knowledge this video imparts is gold 😊😊
What’s the name of your shop? Maybe we can give you some constructive feedback.
Did you try Etsy ads ? Also selling digital art can be hard because now days because anyone can create digital art using ai. You have to find an unsaturated keyword and target that audience
You have to make something people want if you're going to make a sale. You cant just make something and expect people to buy it.
if you're making art for money you're doing it wrong.
Love the digital product ideas! It is pretty surprising how well these products actually do😱
This is amazing! Thanks for sharing. I've been thinking about selling digital products and I don't expect to really sell much because I as an etsy shopper myself I noticed that the niches are saturated.
Because I am located in Latin America, shipping physical products is a nightmare, so yes digital products is a good option I believe, I have no income at the moment so seeing this experience is motivating, and technically I have nothing to loose.
Today I have watched so many videos on digital product and this video is the winner, simple and authentic, no extra word
Thanks for this. I'm so glad to find Canadian content creators.
My 1st time stumbling across your video - probably the most authentic and genuine video Etsy video I’ve seen. Clicked subscribe immediately!
This is my first time watching you but I've already subscribed! You are one of the people that I need right now to inspire me.... as I think that's one big step for me to finally take action. I'm already planning to sell digital products since last year, but couldn't make it as a priority, sadly. But thank you!!! I hope I can push through now.
Woow!! you amazed me!! How honest and transparent, this is exactly what we need.. I have been thinking for a while about starting an online business but I always feel overwhelmed because I don't have anyone to guide me on this path and every time I try to get advices I end up watching or reading content of people that is only desperate for getting views or selling courses!! you are so honest, so pure, so woow! Please share more content like this, you have something great comming with this channel
Thank you for this video. You have given me some things to think about. I think I might do a “bundle” with my digital products to help put it in that $10-15 dollar price range.
Subscribed! Thank you! I really appreciate what feels like an authentic approach to explaining Etsy. I’m in my 3rd month at 5 sales but I’m definitely seeing improvements in the style and quality of my work. Hopefully it will pay off soon!
And more successful shops are copying less successful shops! That happens more than the other way around! Excellent Video!
Thanks Tim! I have just started with my digital product for a month now, all you have said purely realistic and since then I dont feel alone in this anymore…❤
Watching your video feels like i'm listening to a friend. You are so calm, natural and inspiring. I wish you success in everything you do❤
Loved your video. Thank you very much for sharing it and for the encouragement to the new Etsy sellers. I've just started a new Etsy store myself, selling digital products (Canva templates), and I am really looking forward to my first sale ;)
Awesome video.. I’m toying with the idea of starting a digital download shop too.
The freedom of location is definitely underrated and undervalued!
Looking forward to following along!
As someone getting over CPTSD and generalized anxiety, honestly, id just like an extra income doing something I love, dont need riches, dont need stress. This was interesting, to the point, useful and inspiring, ty.
Great video! I felt compelled to compliment you on disclosing your numbers up front, that's so refreshing. Seems from the other comments that I'm not alone. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thank you for being so transparent and always sharing so much value in your video!
Why is no one talking about the banned book Master of Digital Business? It exposes 10 online business ideas that beginners can easily use to make serious money. Trust me, this is no ordinary book. The secrets in it are so powerful, it was removed from all major platforms.
how did you make this a top comment? very impressive.
Scammer
Hahaha this is like baiting a child
@@GnA_000 Easy. You just have to add (top.comment;) behind your comment and it auto ranks it whilst making the code invisible. It’s a bug.
I saw this comment on a few videos, doesn't feel right...
Love your zen energy 😊
Thank you for sharing your experience and advice! 👍
Just following because of your authenticity and transparency
love it!! love how honest and direct this experience is. Thanks a lot for giving the details on how to start doing this and have real expectations, this still seems great!!!💞
Great content, I’m about to start a business in this area, your vid was straight forward, no overblown claims and engaging. Thanks👍
Thank you! I’m researching in order to start creating digital products so this was helpful. 🙏🏻🤩
Hi! I definitely want to learn more about your digital product journey. Thank you for your honesty about the process. I want to create digital products but I need help with ideas and product creation.
This video was very soothing and informative, thank you. I was actually looking for a video relating to e-commerce and using CMS and I got interested with this title that I thought this was also helpful with my search. I’ll be watching more of your videos!
Just wanted to say, keep the video format and editing this minimalistic. After watching awful videos, I found yours looking for a nice and simple thumbnail.
I was not disappointed. Keep it up!
If I would change anything, that would be lowering background music a little bit, it is somewhat distracting, but maybe that is only me.
Good luck!
Thank you for sharing this. I am planning of creating an etsy shop that’s why am watching videos about it. All the best and congratulations to your new shop.
I have been wanting to start an Etsy shop to sell digital products and now that I am on study leave, I can't wait to start working on it.
I really love your videos, Tim! I think your results were great, personally. I am currently trying to grow my printables Etsy shop with new products and hoping for the best. Thank you so much for sharing your insights! 🤗
This was so helpful. I’m diving into selling handmade products but I’m also working on doing digital products.
First video of yours that I ever watched and subbed 2 minutes in. Really like the cut of your jib.
Keep pumping out the good stuff and best of luck on your two stores. Really looking forward to seeing what your digital product is about.
This was easily the most informative and helpful video I've seen on any kind of Etsy product, thank you!
This was a very helpful to me. Thank you! You got a new sub because this video is smart and evidence and experience based.
The sale without any extra effort is the nicest experience!
I bet it was really hard work using AI to create things for you to sell :'( poor guy
@@Metal-SparkGet out of here with that nasty attitude.
Hi Tim! First of all thank you for your effort to bring people real useful information. By the way you didn't mentioned what kind of digital product you are selling.?
Very informative. And like many others here are saying, you seem like a really authentic, wise person. Thanks for this vid.
you are full of positivity, thank you for all the wonderful advice!
Im new to online stuff, id be celebrating if i had ten sticker sales! Lol thanks for being so transparent. Hope you will have more tutorials! SUBSCRIBED! ❤ FROM SINGAPORE
I have a POD shop on Etsy. Its been 3 months & 1 Sale. However, I am being positive & will continue working towards building better store. 😊
Great job on delivering information in a cool and chill way. It's nice to listen to you.
Wow.. that genuinely real story makes me really want to know more. Thanks for these real experiences and examples
Just you did so good, seriously.
I used my 3 months and no sales and my shop got banned, no joke 👍 Super congrat, mate 🍻 I just don't care for my 3 months and my shop anymore
what was the digital product you sold?
Digital Products
He can't give you all of the sauce.
Selling digital artworks. Hand-drawn artworks no AI 🙂↕️
NSFW art
So awesome. I've been heavily considering starting a digital product store! This was so inspiring :)
Go for it Sean!
Give us a RUclips setup video, please. Lighting looks so soft and nice
The struggle with digital products is real, but so is the potential!
Can you offer few examples of what kind of digital products we could focus on selling? Thanks for the video
What’s the new etsy shop
Id love to check it out! 😊
Can you let us know the Fees and Marketing costs too? Go to Finances -> Payment Account and select "last 3 months". I'm curious as to what the full picture is? (You only showed sales).
