Turned on what wasn't already. I already knew about turning off Sold listings. The restock request was not available in my shop until I signed up for Etsy Plus. Then there it was. I updated my sections and moved things around so there are not any with four or less items.
None of these "hacks" skyrockets sales, they're just slightly useful. Enough with the constant clickbait ! Plus that advice about changing the images of a listing when restocking so that people get restock alerts, that's actually forbidden by Etsy since you're not restocking the actual item those people were interested in. "similar" isn't "identical". I know a successful vintage seller who was banned permanently for doing exactly this with sold listings. Etsy doesn't like people who try to cheat the system.

Hi Dylan. Can I ask you a question about printify. I’m designing in Illustrator. Should I design in rgb or cmyk? I know it’ll print cmyk regardless but should I upload it as a rgb or cmyk onto printify? Does it matter? I mean either way it’ll come out as cmyk. So what’s better? Does it even matter because it’ll print cmyk regardless if I design in rgb or cmyk?
@@dylanjahraus I’m sorry are you asking how it turned out to be? Because I know printify said to design in rgb and upload in cmyk? And then also the print providers convert to their own cmyk so then printify said to upload in rgb to give the printers the best colors to work with. But I mean will there actually be a slight difference?

@@dylanjahraus For vintage sellers like me, it makes no sense to hide sold listings. Most of my restored clocks and metronomes are unique and hard for competition to duplicate exactly. So I don't understand this advice for vintage sellers.

Why hide the number of sales? When I want to buy something on Etsy, I actually have more trust in a seller who has a higher number of sales.
You're not hiding the number of sales, you're hiding the specific listings that sold.

@@dylanjahraus For vintage sellers like me, it makes no sense to hide sold listings. Most of my restored clocks and metronomes are unique and hard for competition to duplicate exactly. So I don't understand this advice for vintage sellers.
@@pbclocks Use your brain. If you let other vintage sellers see what you sold, they'll know what type of items/eras/colors/etc are most popular and they'll source more of those to compete directly with you. It's not rocket science FFS.
