My name is Lorenzo Muriedas, and I have been an artist for over 30 years, specializing in graphic design and digital painting. I opened a shop on Etsy using many of my digital art pieces on products from Printful, meaning I only do the design. I have 201 items in my listing but have only made one sale. When I saw your video, I realized that I need to change the titles of all 201 items, which is a huge task.

Hey Dylan, excellent video with so much info! I'm struggling with the overlapping long-tail keywords for my titles. I don't know how to find them. Please, can you give me a hint? I know what a long-tail keyword is, but I don't understand where to find the proper keywords to do this overlapping!
I'm so glad you found the video helpful! I completely understand how figuring out the right long-tail keywords can be tricky. It’s awesome that you’re already familiar with the concept of long-tail keywords-that’s a great first step! To find the right overlapping long-tail keywords, a good place to start is by thinking about what your potential customers are likely searching for. We actually take a deep dive into this process in our 1:1 coaching, where we walk you through how to research and optimize your keywords for maximum impact. If you'd like more detailed support with this, we can work together to find the best approach for your shop’s success. Is this something you are open to?
You mention having numerous items/listings of different things but what if the shop is handcrafted artisan soap bars. Many listings of the same item, many variations of same item. How do you incorporate your strategies to that model?
Dylan you are amazing !! I wish I could put you in my pocket! I watch every video! Question...does it matter or make a difference if you place comas or slashes within the SEO? or none at all just the words?
Heyyyyyy I love your videos, I have been binge watching them like crazy!! They are giving me more confidence that maybe I can do this :) I do have a question, I have heard you say in multiple videos that I need to optimize my listings for mobile, desktop, and then Pinterest, so my question is does that mean I need to have separate listings for each one optimized for either mobile, desktop, and/or Pinterest or should I be trying to optimize all my listing for all three? is that something that can even be done? Thank you for all the great info!
@@dylanjahraus I am truly still in my research stage so I am wide open to suggestions and changes! To be honest I'm the type of person that gets caught in a perfectionism loop. So, I don't have a store open yet and have been too nervous to add any listings knowing that I need to capitalize off the boost that Etsy gives to brand new shops. I don't want to lose that boost opportunity. Many of your videos indicate to not worry about perfection and just upload some listings to get the process started and get some data coming in, so that's feel like where I'm at. I am pushing myself to start uploading my first listings ASAP but this question kept rattling around in my head on how I would optimize my listing for all three (mobile, desktop, and Pinterest). I am very customer service based in my 9 to 5:00 job, so even just from that customer centric point of view that I have built I would want anyone who would like to access my listing to be able to read it on the device of their choice without it looking wonky. I know that was a bit long-winded but I hope it made sense. Thanks again for even taking a look at my question 💜
That's great! Thank you for sharing! Would like to know... what are your goals and are you looking to go full time with your shop or is this more of a hobby?
@@dylanjahraus Ideally much more than a hobby. I want to leave my 9-5 at some point but we just bought a house so that transition would require some meticulous planning on my part.
Wow, congrats with the new house! If you don't mind me asking...how much do you need to make so you can eventually leave your 9-5 job and go full-time with your shop?
Hello❤ step 4 pricing , do you recommmend to have a 40% -50% sales daily or just a small price without sales discount? Thank you so much for your advice ❤❤❤love your videos
You always say the title is only 10% of SEO and then NEVER tell us what makes up the other 90%! You always tell us how to do the titles after telling us it's only 10%. I really need the breakdown, like a pie chart of what makes up SEO and how important each component is. That would be very helpful.

How are sales with your shop?
My name is Lorenzo Muriedas, and I have been an artist for over 30 years, specializing in graphic design and digital painting. I opened a shop on Etsy using many of my digital art pieces on products from Printful, meaning I only do the design. I have 201 items in my listing but have only made one sale. When I saw your video, I realized that I need to change the titles of all 201 items, which is a huge task.
That can be a huge task. In our 1:1 coaching we provide this type of guidance for students. Are you interested in chatting more about getting coaching?
It's not a huge task, click the box top left on your listing page to select all then you can edit all in one go 😊 I found out after months not knowing
What are your goals and are you wanting to go full time with your shop or is this more of a hobby?
Thanks for the video. Can I have the checklist?

Such a useful video, thank you very much! Can we have both digital and physical (pod) products in one shop?
Yes, absolutely! Please reach out to me on IG and we will chat! Its @DylanJahraus you will just need to add GROWTH1 as a code in the message :)
This is great, tangible content, thanks!
Glad you liked it! Do you have an Etsy Shop already? :)
You mention having numerous items/listings of different things but what if the shop is handcrafted artisan soap bars. Many listings of the same item, many variations of same item. How do you incorporate your strategies to that model?
Fantastic video and I love the colour of your hair
Thank you so much!!

Thanks! Glad you appreciate my video! Do you have an Etsy shop already, or are you planning to open one?
Dylan you are amazing !! I wish I could put you in my pocket! I watch every video! Question...does it matter or make a difference if you place comas or slashes within the SEO? or none at all just the words?

Commas do not effect the seo with titles according to Etsy
absolutely incredible info! thank you so much
Thanks! Glad my my videos are of help! By the way, do you have an Etsy shop already?
Heyyyyyy I love your videos, I have been binge watching them like crazy!! They are giving me more confidence that maybe I can do this :)
I do have a question, I have heard you say in multiple videos that I need to optimize my listings for mobile, desktop, and then Pinterest, so my question is does that mean I need to have separate listings for each one optimized for either mobile, desktop, and/or Pinterest or should I be trying to optimize all my listing for all three? is that something that can even be done?
Thank you for all the great info!
Question first, are you open to make some changes to your current strategy?
Checklist please! This is awesome... thank you so much!!

You always say the title is only 10% of SEO and then NEVER tell us what makes up the other 90%! You always tell us how to do the titles after telling us it's only 10%. I really need the breakdown, like a pie chart of what makes up SEO and how important each component is. That would be very helpful.

What are you selling?
I'm selling journals and planners (new), diverse accessories, and apparels with quotes and humor (from previous work). So I asked ChatGpt it gives me vertical bar (for example: Monday T-Shirt | Funny Graphic Tee), should I get rid of vertical bars or any commas altogether even though it may become awkward to read but still coherent like the example you gave?
