Hi Hannah! I've been following your videos for a while now. This is the first time I've commented (I think lol). This was very informative and spot on. I've been struggling to make sales on a few platforms and you've given me the inspiration to up my mockup game. Thanks and keep up the great work! ❤
Love your videos! I am an aspiring seller on Etsy and your channel has helped me tons to understand every bit of starting my shop. Thanks for making such informative videos.
Try chatgpt for helping you to write the title and tags, it is very smart specially if you charge for it , you can pay for one month as a start and try it , really you will be amazed
Your mockup advice is gold! How do you maintain a consistent style across different mockups for diverse niches? Any challenges in balancing variety and cohesion?
In my early stages I cared a lot more about making sure I changed my mockups and had a huge variety. The reality is most people are shopping from a single listing and not looking at your whole shop. Now I have several go-to mockups and don't worry if the same one is right next to another.
Hannah, you're incredible, and I'm thrilled to have come across you today. I'm currently crafting my Christmas designs for my print-on-demand and spring store, and you've been a tremendous help.
Thank you Hannah for sharing this information. It is very helpful. I wasn't sure about making the investment because not wanting to spend too much money in the beginning. But I do want my sales to grow significantly so this was the encouragement to do it! I'll let you know how it goes.
They aren't closing stores because mockups per se but copyright issues in mockups ie Starbucks cup or sometimes AI was just catching the same mockup a lot and thinking it was a drop shipping listing.
Great video! Thank you for all your great info! I worry that you using a mock up template might look that the actually product. Meaning shirts fit and look different. How to pick a mock up that looks like the brand shirt or product they will receive. How do we handle this?
Placeit does have the ability to sort by some of the most popular shirt brands and pick the exact one you are selling. But, a lot of times I just make sure the mockups looks as close as possible and the fit/color and very similar.
I love the idea of mock-up designs moving with the folds of the fabric etc., but would prefer to use other additional mock-ups other than only the ones provided on place it. If you upload your own mock-up does place it have the capability to have the design fit with the folds etc.?
As of right now this is not supported on the platform, but I know they are always looking to expand and help their users, so I will definitely let them know this is something that would be helpful for sellers!
So what is the right order of creating a, say, t-shirt design? I do have some great designs done already that I want to use for pod. Do I first upload it on Printify, then look for a great mockup, adjust it on there and then list it on Etsy? I‘m a bit overwhelmed by all the necessary details. I want to start with pod soon, so I‘d love to hear from you on this, if it’s okay to ask? 🙈 thank you
Hi Hannah, really appreciate you sharing all the valuable tips with us. I’ve been using Placeit since your last video recommending it. Overall I like it a lot even though I was surprised that they seem to have very small mock-up selections for products like table runners or even ornaments! I now use it mostly just for t shirts and have been limiting my t shirt colors to only white and black for fear that the other colors won’t match the actual Bella and Canva shirt colors from Printify… also I found their white t shirt mock ups often don’t look bright enough for a brand new crisp white t shirt. Instead they look like they’ve been washed in the same load with some dark colored clothing 😂Do you have the same experience? Lastly, thanks for showing us the crop function right before downloading the final mock up. I had no idea!😅
Thanks so much for this. Great advice. I wish Placeit had more variety in some areas. I've been struggling to find all over print mockups - especially for pajama pants. It has force me to learn Photoshop. I really appreciate all of your videos!
How many mock-up pics should one listing have? Should we find 10 different ways to show the product or is it ok to mix say up to 4 or 5, some with a model and some flat lays etc
Hanna. We can't thank you enough for the amazing series of videos. We have been following your advice and will update our mockups (cropping them) that we got from Placeit. We have been using your recommendations for Printify, Sales Samuri and Kittl as well. We do have a question about the market that we are in and how to make it work better. Would it be okay to email our question to you? We haven't seen a video from you that covers it yet and it might be something you want to go over. Thx Luna & Peter
Thanks so much for following along with my channel here. You can absolutely feel free to email me and I will try to get back with you as soon as I am able.
Subscribe 100x's over 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ can you please talk about what's to big or to small for graphic. How to know that mock up when it's larger isn't to big? When using placeit for mockups and that image area is 750x750 px and your bringing over the 4100x5000 px how do you know your giving an accurate image for mock up? Thank you.😊
What about using models for 1 or 2 images and then flatlays for color variation pics? I am currently a little disappointed with placeit as the mockups I used originally for my niche are no longer available and are being flooded with a niche which is way out of line with mine. They have some great new models for the tee type I use but they are all in a church praise setting.😢 i haven't tried any of their design tools yet.
Hi Hannah, thank you for all your advice and videos. I currently use Place it but I find i cannot get my images to be the same when in Printify I select to grid a design. Is there a way of doing this in Place it? Thank you so much!
Lots of good info. I struggle with mock-ups for canvas tote bags. Mock-ups show the bags too white, compared to the actual canvas bag sold by printify. Any suggestions
One other ? isn't the color important to, to make sure your representing the closest to the color your selling? Also how do you do that with a color map/chart only?
Yes. And you have to guess the right shade. Plus they don't have the exact right kind of shirts so it can be misleading for customers. It could work for some other products though.
Most POD sites (like printify) auto generate mockups with exactly how it will be printed. I wouldn't use these to sell my product, but they can show placement and size.

Thanks so much for sharing!! You've got this!
The best thing i did is susbscribe to your channel and especially to your newsletter the informations you send are a real gold mine
That is so so kind!
Remove background, vectorize and once in Canva you just have to play with the transparency and your mockup really look real afterward

You are so welcome!
Thank you for your advice. There is so much to learn. Been at it for a month. Only sold a couple of things. Still confused on SEO.

Yes, Hannah, I got the yearly subscription about on placeit from watching your video :) and I love how easy it is and how it contour to the shirts.

I really enjoyed this tutorial! It taught me a lot.
@@hannahebeling Your advice makes a lot of sense. It's all about optimizing the customer's experience with a single listing.

I would LOVE a video on vid mockups! I haven’t tried to figure it out on my own because I have so many other things in my shop to work on 😂
Thanks!
I absolutely appreciate your educational videos and the Wednesday’s newsletter.
Thank you Hannah.
You are way too kind!! Thank you so much for being part of this amazing community and supporting me and my channel!
I love Placeit! Very cost efficient!

Can we use those mockups even though Etsy is closing stores because of mockups? Please help!!

Thanks for sharing this, truly excellent content!

hi dear Hannah, I like your tutorials, I wanted to ask if you would teach us how design for arctic blankets also, thank you.

@@hannahebeling thank you for getting back to me! Would be an awesome feature.
I love PlaceIt and use the aaaaall the time. However, I wish they had Comfort Colors. As of now, they still don't.
Is it not an issue that the t-shirt in the mockup itself is not the exact same as the t shirt you are selling on Printful?

Yes! I hope they keep adding to the AOP selections!
How many mock-up pics should one listing have? Should we find 10 different ways to show the product or is it ok to mix say up to 4 or 5, some with a model and some flat lays etc
Thank you Hannah, my problem is that I use AOP and there is not good mockups I have to end up using the printing co. mockups and im not happy😢
Hi hannah! At the end of this video you mentioned another video that shows you mockups... however it didnt appear. Can we see it? Thanks!
How do you get the correct color for t-shirts on place it?
ill definitely try that, thanks!

I think it's a great idea to use multiple mockups for one listing!
What niche is that? The way out of line.
Hey does it have to look like the exact shirt? Bec I will look up the actual shirt and don't get much..
thats amazing, ty for sharing
Hi Hannah, thank you for all your advice and videos. I currently use Place it but I find i cannot get my images to be the same when in Printify I select to grid a design. Is there a way of doing this in Place it? Thank you so much!
Hello; thank you; if i use kittl, is it necessary to have also subscription for place it? Thanks
Lots of good info. I struggle with mock-ups for canvas tote bags. Mock-ups show the bags too white, compared to the actual canvas bag sold by printify. Any suggestions
One nice thing on Placeit is you can customize the mockup color of the totes. So you can make them look darker or lighter depending on your product.
Do they have the brand shirt like Gildan or Bella so the customer sees the same shirt they would be buying
One other ? isn't the color important to, to make sure your representing the closest to the color your selling? Also how do you do that with a color map/chart only?
Thanks for the information i really like your channel. I don't like pleceit for t-shirts. They don't have comfort colors. Totes and mugs are ok
You are AWESOME!!! TY
Do you add the design to the tshirt as a png and use JPEG as the actualy thumbnails? I dont get the jpeg png circumstances. thanks!
Thanks so much

Thank you so much Hannah for this tutorial and sharing your knowledge about POD. So grateful
You are so welcome!
I always find it kinda creepy when models faces are cut out. Is it just me?
you can't choose the right color on placeit. if you have ash, sport gray, dark heather etc. you can't use it.
I'm pretty sure you can get Heather colors... Search heather tee mockup
Yes. And you have to guess the right shade. Plus they don't have the exact right kind of shirts so it can be misleading for customers. It could work for some other products though.
How do u know how big a design will look on a shirt once its printed?

is it actually that easy? wow
