Opened this video thinking i wasnt going to learn anything because i use placeit how i was taught. Then you cropped and downloaded the exact size you need for Etsy. Who knew 😮. Yes I'm going to save tons of time now. Wasted so much time downloading and uploading to resize 🤪. Thank you
Thank you so much for making this - I love how open and straightforward your videos are as well as super professional and enjoyable to watch. I do have a question about mock-ups though that I’m hoping you can help me with. 💕 One of the biggest things holding me back from print on demand is the whole mock ups idea, as it seems kind of cheesy to advertise with photos that don’t actually portray the real product and I’m worried my customers won’t be satisfied and will feel betrayed when they get the real thing. How do you know which fabrics and designs are close enough to the real thing that people will feel like they’re looking at the actual product? Another thing I’m concerned about is that so many people use the same mockups. While there are a lot of options and your own design will ideally make it stand out, I don’t want my customers to think I’m copying other people and I myself have stopped being as interested in buying shirts when there’s so many listings that look almost exactly the same at a glance. (Same little plant, blonde hair...not that it’s wrong, but it does make it less interesting as a customer) Do you know of a way to combat that or am I just overthinking this too much? 😅 Thanks again for your time, and I really admire the professional and tasteful way you create and sell your products and I so appreciate you sharing those tips with us. 💖💖
I totally get how you’re feeling! POD mock-ups are a hard balance to find between being easy to make and actually representing the product you are selling well. Don’t feel bad experimenting to find what works, but a lot of times new sellers let this hold them back from getting started when customers don’t pay too much attention to details.
Thanks for the useful video. But the cutting and material of the mock up t shirt is different than the one you are selling, is there a way to ensure that ?
Hi Hannah (also my daughter's name) I was wondering if you spend time matching the brand of item you are selling to what is seen in your mockup? Do you consider this to be important?
Is there a listing first picture color shirt you like to use? You have said that black is your best seller. Do you prefer to use that color in your thumbnail? Thoughts?
Is there a way to filter t shirt mockups that are the most accurate of the ones we need? For example if I'm selling Gildan 5000, it would feel wrong to me to use that mockup you were working on. I know that's not how the Gildan 5000 fits. I would have to go one by one to find one that I think is most accurate and that seems very time consuming...
Thanks for your video! I use Placeit a lot but I do have one complaint. In so many of their mock ups, the model is holding a phone or coffee cup or is wearing a jacket or has the shirt tucked into their pants. This obscures a good deal of the photo from the final mock-up. Someone needs to tell these guys that the purpose of the mock-up is to display the design on the shirt, not their awesome photo shoot.
@hannahebeling I am also hearing things about this. People saying that that philosophy is no longer acceptable and the handbook saying it only allows either actual pictures of the item or the images from the print provider. And etsy has said it has taken shops down for using mockups. I am getting quite worried about it.
@hannahebeling newbie here! I just put my first listing yesterday and when referencing the seller handbook it said to use photos from the print provider. Doesn't that mean we can't use PlaceIt anymore or any third party mockups purchased from mockup stores on Etsy? Just looking for clarity as I don't want to unintentionally break any rules 🙂
No, you just want to know what her real store is so you can copy her stuff 😂😂😂 don't bother, these videos are jist for her to promote her affiliate links BS

Glad this was helpful! I definitely did that same thing for a while too.

Thank you for another great, helpful video…the master class was outstanding; thank you, learned so much!

Hi Hannah, how are you matching the color scheme for the Gildan 64000 for example?
I’m looking for a video that is strictly creating the mockups you see all over Amazon with the white background of shirts how do I make those?!
Hi Hannah (also my daughter's name) I was wondering if you spend time matching the brand of item you are selling to what is seen in your mockup? Do you consider this to be important?
She tells us to match the Type of item, like the kind of shirt, heathered.
Hi Hannah,
For the placeit mockup subscription, your video says $1.99/month.
Did you mean $9.99/month?
I realized that too! It is showing $9.99/month on their website.
Is there a listing first picture color shirt you like to use? You have said that black is your best seller. Do you prefer to use that color in your thumbnail? Thoughts?
I always use what looks best for that particular item!

following this as I really want to stay as close to the actual brand/type of shirt I'm selling as possible.
The Amazon Merch account was recently closed and I applied to join them more than once. Do you have any idea how to get accepted back?
Why was it closed
@@MrsExclusive The reason for closing the account is Copyright
My place it mockups come out blurry when I download them even when I use the recommended dimensions 😢

Am i the only one who thinks the placeit bella and canvas 3001 mockups are often creepy? Asking for a friend😂
I agree!! 😂
Inclusivity yes I agree. It’s nice we have come so far but now that’s all I’m finding. Where are the average Jo’s. It’s so frustrating.
What about Etsy cracking down on mockups? Does this not apply to mockups created by sites like placeit?
You always just need to do your due diligence to make sure you represent the items you’re selling as accurately as possible.
