great video and 5 great tips..i'm off to glasgow and wanted a good street photography lens so i'm gonna get one of these..Thanks!
Good video thanks 👍
I have one. It is a good video lens. I also have a viltrox adapter for my M6II.
Yes, I agree, that STM focusing motor also makes it a good video lens!
Hi, which Canon lens would be best for headshot portraits? I have an EOS 2000d
Thanks
Hi! The Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 STM lens is perfect for headshots portraits. On the Canon 2000D, it gives the Full Frame equivalent of 80mm, which is very close to 85mm, a great focal length for headshots portraits. This is also an inexpensive lens. Honestly, the best cheap prime lens out there.
@@apertureatlas Thank you so much for the advice!
im wondering if anyone has used this for vlogging? im considering getting this but im not sure becdause i've heard a couple things from different ppl
Hi! If you`re filming yourself in a room, sitting on a chair, it is fine. If you are going places, filming your face, a wider angle is needed. If you have really long hands, it might work (with difficulties), but it is just better to have a wider lens at hand, like the Canon EF-M 11-22mm. Hope this helps
@@apertureatlas I am an in-house English teacher for a software company in LATAM, and I make my own talking head educational videos. TBH, I find this lens a bit wide for my purposes: I prefer a 35 mm lens (on a crop sensor camera). The 24 mm is a great lens for photography, though. It's a no-brainer for the price.
its a worse efm 22 f2 basically
Yes, something like that - very close performance to the EF-M 22mm f/2.
