- Well, the time has come. I told myself if I ever spin the drag radials in 3rd gear it's time to stop. How come all I want is more? I guess that's just how it works. Guess only time will tell! Until then, enjoy the video.

hi, do you have that torque steer with the HP you have now?
@@fasttrack6406 just look at the video and you’ll see that there’s minimal torque steer and that he can still hold the wheel with one hand while he shifts.

Good video and great results! I have been subscribed for some time and happy to see your results but I suspect you may keep moving forward. I agree; get it dialed in, make it an excellent daily driver with few 'issues', and enjoy it for a while. The remaining improvements will come when the time is right.

I'm running the same radials on 550 HP and with the tire pressure down to 18 psi they almost dead hook in 2nd. Also, I would consider getting away from Mario ASAP. I've had my SRT4s tuned by Mario, Nemo, and Dave. My car blew up with Marios tune. Not to mention my AFRs would bounce all over the place, it struggled to start when warm, and it would surge when cruising. I noticed in your pull the AFRs were quite lean initially and they were pretty erratic. Very surprised you would go from Nigel to Mario. Your car is beautiful and your build has a lot of money into it, don't leave it in Mario's hands, trust me.
It's because Nigel wasn't remote tuning our cars anymore.
I'm really excited to see more vids, I have a neon srt4 that I'm currently building for alot of power I'm trying to see what I need in my trans to make it reliable with high Power

Can you run boost by gear/speed on your setup? If you could run a map with for the street and without for the track that would be ideal. I have mine set to where my R888Rs just chirp and it’s really great for street driving to still be able to go WOT and enjoy the car. On the track though, it definitely leaves power on the table. I can’t run two maps without a reflash on Diablo =(
Yes, I am currently running boost by gear. I'm probably going to dial it back a couple pounds or lower the pressure in my tires.

Just a local SRT enthusiast as far as the internals go. Johnny Boost put most of the car together as a whole.

Do yo think 235/60/r15 would fit on a 15x6. I’m want to get some drag radials but I don’t want of change my wheels.
No, I wouldn't do that. If you could even get it to mount, it would make the drag radials pointless because it would change the geometry so much in the tire that the contact patch wouldn't be the same.

There’s upgrades for almost anything, the way to make a car fast is more fuel and airflow. So intakes, porting work, throttle body’s, injectors, fuel pumps, etc. once you upgrade fuel and airflow, you will notice a difference

found you on thedudeinblues srt episode. you have a very good example of what a srt4 should look like. Are you tuning the stock by manipulating xdf files?
Thanks brother! What do you mean by tuning the stock? Not much is stock on my car and I use a Diablo Trinity for tuning. However I don’t do the tuning myself anymore. I have someone email them to me and I register the logs and email them back.
@@quixilver09 Ohh ok cool. Your stock ecu can actually be fully tuned by changing the code in the ecu (altering xdf files). You can add launch control , data log, add shift light, timing map, fuel map, adjust for injectors, remove all check engine lights , control the factory boost controller, boost by gear, rev limit. Pretty much everything a stand alone can do. cool part is all you need is free software like tuner pro , free flasher and a $50 obd cable. You can then tune it yourself or have tuner go back and forth adjusting your tune based on data logs
@@larryp85 yea the ecu is pretty well unlocked. There is a separate module for launch control/2 step and boost by gear but it’s just manipulating the stock ecu. I’ve already got too many hobbies, and even though I know the basics of tuning, I’ll leave that to the professionals lol.

Should run boost by undriven wheel speed and not boost by gear.
Also add traction control.
Never in my SRT4 career have I heard of either of those lol

I’ve noticed 450-500 depending on your wheel and tire setup seems to be optimal. I only run 26psi on my stage 3, but it’s just so reliable on PCM control and fun to drive! I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to sell it.

Boost box for now. It drops to around 25/26 to 6500
