I’m currently on book two of A Touch of Darkness series!! If you like Greek god stuff it’s based off of the relationship of Hades and Persephone. Pretty spicy as well. But so, so good!

For some great fantasy I love Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series, Patrick Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicles (be WARNED he hasn't finished the series... It's another GoT situation 😢) and Neil Gaiman... I think Neverwhere or Good Omens is a good place to start!!

Would love to see you take a new fitness route, like road or trail running! Squish is adorable 😍🥰 The Licanius trilogy is good & all of Brandon Sanderson’s books are amazing. I’d start with Warbreaker, then Elantris then the Mistborn trilogy & if you’re a fan you’ve then got the second era of mistborn and Stormlight archive + other short stories 👏🏻
Im reading A Wrinkle in Time! I think its one most read when they were yoinger, but not me. Magic, time travel, saving the day. It's a series!

I'm a huge From Blood & Ash fan (book 3 & 4 come off the rails a bit IMO🙄), but book 5 a Soul of Ash & Blood is a very good redemption for JLA... Even though it's FBAA retold through Casteel's perspective... learning about "what he was thinking" and "what he did" in moments like when Hawke killed Duke Teerman are totally worth it! 🪄✨️🌟👑

Nikki! I recommend this book series called Red Rising by Pierce Brown. It’s heavy sci-fi, which scared me at first because I’m more of a spicy-fairy fantasy kinda gal, but I am completely in love with this world and the characters. You get themes of revolution, revenge, and sacrifice, but it’s action packed and full of plot twists. Give it a shot! I think you’ll like it! ❤

In terms of fantasy books: Malazan book of the fallen series. It is a pretty big series though, but worth it. Although you also need to get through the first one and the first part of the second one to get into it. I also enjoyed The Wheel of Time. If you don't want to read a long series I always like Terry Pratchett books.
O, and Robin Hobb has a lot of good books too!

My cat Ruby does not love the kitten we found 8 months ago (I live in a rural area, I found him under my deck and he’s my baby now). But she’s adjusted enough lol. I make a big deal out of it anytime they are within a few feet of each other🤣♥️
Book recommendation! Burn for Me - you have to ignore the cover art though but it has been so much fun to read!! Ninth House is also good but more dark academia. An Ember in the Ashes and Darkfever are also good.

Squish has gotten so big!
Blood and Ash series is great! Loved it! She also has another series called Harbinger, first book is Storm and Fury. If you are like me and love fantasy with a sprinkle of spice then this is a great series. It is more YA so not a lot of spice at all but it hooked me and I read all 3 books in a week. Let me know if you want any other recommendations.
I LOVE my walking pad!! I actually walk on it while I read my kindle and I can get 4 miles in super quickly 😂 you should check out the book “Fourth Wing.” It’s a fantasy action book kinda like a mix of hunger games, house of dragons, Harry Potter mix and SO good

Read John Gwynnes Faithful and Fallen seriea. Malice is the first book in that series. Its seriously the best series ive ever read.
You know what a sleeper series The High Mountain Court by AK Mulford. I believe it’s a finished series, the books arent crazy thick bois, AND they’re super inclusive too. High fae, witches and humans. Good soup!
