So glad I got your video recommended on my feed. Currently in anorexia recovery myself (for the dozenst of time) and it's so validating and reassuring hearing someone else talk about all those struggles who has almost made it to the other side❤ I hope I won't get stuck in "quasi" again and finally have the courage to endure the overshoot, water retention etc and let my body heal for good, even if it takes years to undo the damage I inflicted upon myself by starving and being underweight for so long 😢

Thank you so much for your comment! I wish you all the best, I know how hard it is and you can be so proud of yourself for not giving up! When it comes to overshoot, what helped me the most was to remind myself that my body is doing everything to make sure I survive and heal. I had to try to trust it in order for my body to trust me again. It is never too late and you will be surprised how much healing your body can do if you give it enough food and rest. Wishing you the best! ✨💕

Alogrithm win for once! I happened upon this as a suggested video, and my oh my is it so what I needed. I'm almost a year in, and have been frustrated by many of the things you speak about. This was a great reminder to hold tight and keep going. Thank you!

Very informative content! Thanks for sharing, this is helpful for so many girls/women who are in or have been in recovery. I so agree that you can overcome an eating disorder and don't have to forever think of yourself as having one! There is freedom I have found through trusting God daily to stay free! ❤🎉

Thank you very much! I appreciate it! And yes, I 100% agree. I have seen so many people fully recovering and I can't wait to start working with people and helping them to overcome their struggles. Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! ❤️

I wish I was a little anorexic. I am on the opposite side. I cannot stop once I eat. I am here to learn about your mindset so maybe I can use some of your thoughts to overcome my overeating. If only I could think sometimes like an anorexic person. I eat the entire bread loaf in one sitting! and have chronic acid reflux. I am not obese though.

@@blueberry4082 hey there! I think I understand where you are coming from, but please never ever say something like “I wish I was anorexic”. Trust me, you really don’t. I’ve had people saying that to me while I was literally dying and it was the most disrespectful thing. I really understand that that’s not what you mean and I will make a video about overeating as well. Please don’t get me wrong, I just want this to be a safe place for everyone. I see your struggle and I understand that it must be horrible! Let me gather some information and I will make a video then. Wishing you the best!

Thanks for sharing your journey. Im also strugling with disordered eating and most of the time an ED too for over an decade... Its hard and sometimes I wonder if there ever comes an end to it... Anyway,
(*the following question might be triggering for some*, feel free to skip )
Do you also have that you miss your old sick body? I just watched videos back from my body when i was much much skinnier, not sure how sick i was back then still but pretty sure that its so much lighter and leaner then now. I feel often very very bad about this. Idk what to do, and just wondering if anyone else feels like this too? 😢

This is absolutely common! I will make a video about this very topic soon, it’s very important! Thank you for sharing your experience, but it’s nothing to feel ashamed about! I missed my sick body way longer than I thought I would, but there comes a point of change, I promise!
