I'm a social media manager for 7 figure creators and girl when I tell you YOU'VE HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD with this advice. I really love how you're encouraging people to show up authentically rather than follow the 'hacks' that everyone's repeating. We have to remember that 'audiences' are people who can tell if you're trying to grow versus sharing things you're passionate about. Love love love this video and following your journey 🙌🏻

For real though. I feel much better posting videos where I feel 100% comfortable, rather than forcing myself to make videos that "work".. I really don't want to wake up one day and hate making content.

Still a small artist. Social media never felt like home to me. It was always having to change just because the algorithm didn't approve of my ideas. It made me doubt if I was really worthy. "If you're creating for the algorithm, why are you creating at all?" so true. Thanks for actually being helpful. I hope to build a community that makes people of all kinds feel invited.

One thing that I LOVE about this video, among many other, is the spacing of this video. There's no cuts that distract from what you want to say and I appreciate that. Videos nowadays I feel like cut too fast/often, which makes me feel like I'm being rushed. I appreciate this style of editing alot.

I’m so glad I found this after only a month of trying to grow my platform. Only a month, and I was getting burnt out! What you said makes so much sense, why create at all if it's just for the algorithm?? Like you, I prefer longer, storytelling content. It's an art to me. I made an easy 5 second reel with a trending sound that really has nothing to do with brand, and ended up with over 25k views and way too many follows. I say that because I knew they weren't following me for the reason I wanted them to, and they didn't realize what my brand really was when they hit follow. So I ended up archiving that reel so I could attract the audience I want to attract. Ah well, you learn as you go!!! Thank you for this!!

So glad I ran into this video only 2 months after starting my RUclips, and not YEARS after!! Thank you so much for your insight. I get carried away trying to post once a week while also having a fulltime job and balancing my life that I’ve been cramming and uploading projects I’m not super happy with because I HAVE to or else the algorithm with forget I exist. You’ve taught me to be authentic, and naturally what I love to do and produce will find its way. Success doesn’t need to be measured out with numbers, but rather I am successful because I’m doing what I love.

how much time a week do you spend on your social media and how often can you actually draw?

    • @chantalleonhardt
      @chantalleonhardt  3 дня назад

@@martheverhoest8290 it really depends!! Some weeks I’ll spend 40hrs painting, some weeks I’ll spend 40hrs filming and editing- depends on what content and projects I have deadlines on!

While knowing your motivation is important, it's equally critical to have a clear understanding of the "how" to effectively implement strategies that can yield tangible results.
I liked the perspective you're providing. Love the art work.
Thanks for your efforts putting together the video.

Last night I had a dream that I was making a big piece of art with a bunch of stuff I would want to put in it, like a scene, but I was like "I'm adding pretty grass and flowers like Chantal!" 😊

you're absolutely right about most growth gurus only growing because they're a growth channel and, they probably haven't actually organically grown an ordinary account ❤ Also side note, I have the same name and its kind of unique so it's really throwing me off hearing you say it hahaha 😂

I agree with you Chantelle, I am a social media manager and most growth gurus grow because people want to grow, so once they say, 'let me show you how to grow online' people will automatically want to know the 'how'.
Growing organically isn't as rosy as they protray it because different things work for different accounts.

    Newbys: wow great tips
Pros: How this video actually got tons of views -the hook at the beginning. Where you thought she was randomly placing things on the table & her camera falling. The thumbnail told you exactly what the video was about, big & bold, in 5 words or less. The title had all the keywords you’d be searching for.
Let’s be sure to mention things like that, as they do make a difference. You explained your points very well though 👏🏾

If you get a little clip for your mic and put it on the front of your shirt your sound will be better. You won’t get breath pops and the volume will sound better when it’s not so close to your mouth.
