in the social media era advertising your business has never been so easy but somehow so difficult too 😅 there's not enough hours in a day to do everythiiiing
Oh yeah, absolutely! It's so weird like that haha i've found batching content creation tasks to be super helpful though. Like I'll come up with a bunch ideas on one day, then record several of those ideas on another and then edit it so that I have a few options to post ahead of a week :) this process has helped me so much ☺
@@fructusillustrations yes, definitely! I've also thought about this about a month ago and since then I've still trying to dedicate a full day to just short for content, no luck so far haha but I'm trying ✨
I only recently have become interested in trying to start a small business, so the timing of this post is amazing haha, thank you so much for the video :]
Hi Jen, I just came a cross your page while looking up tips on making stickers and designs. And I clicked on your video (^__^) and I'm glad I did. I enjoyed watching your work process.☺ I also liked hearing about how to run a smallbiz. It's super important to know "How to" from the beginning. As and artist myself, I kinda did things backwards but learning from it. I really appreciate other channels who explain the art journey and how social media works. Thank you for posting this and showing us a bit into your work of a daily artist. I also feel like wanting to order some stickers from your site and a coloring book 🎨Hope your having a fantastic day 💕
I'd love to have my own store but I've been really struggling with algorithms lately, I post often and generally something will do kind of well and then suddenly nothing works, it's hard 🥺
Yeah algorithms are tough to crack and my performance definitely fluctuates but I try not to let that get me down because even if it's small amount, I can still reach some :)
This was a nice reminder that I need to start posting my art more consistently so thanks! Lol, idk why but it rly is the hardest thing for me to do but ik I need to do it if I wanna have a shop eventually too ;((
your journey with Fus Illustrations is inspiring! Focusing on a couple of social media platforms initially can indeed help in understanding your audience better and refining your content strategy. Starting a newsletter early on is a gem of advice-it's a direct channel to engage with your audience without any interference. 💡
Thanks for sharing your experience and advice! I recently started my own small business and it's been a bit tough. Definitely going to apply some of this to my process! Love your videos 💛
It's only been 2 years? It feels like it's been around for a lot longer! I see your art a lot online and it's super inspiring. Thank you for sharing your journey. 😇✨
Hi thank you for this encouraging vid! I have been thinking about doing more videos showing my process and value videos but have always been kinda shy to go on camera, but more and more I am feeling like "just do it!" kind of attitude lol. Sometimes feel like my vid ideas might be too weird hahaha but maybe I'll just make them and see what happens. Anyway, thanks again, your video gave a little boost of confidence :)
I went on your website to check out your products, and noticed a typo on your Class Clown Extraordinaire pieces. It says "Extraordinarie" on the product itself. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but figured I'd give you a heads up just in case you didn't notice.
Ahh nice catch, thanks! I had already changed the design but I guess I forgot to retake the photo for my website! Gotta do that soon hehe thanks friend ❤
For me, buying my own cricut to make my stickers and prints has definitely been a good investment but it really depends on what you are willing to do. There's no right answer really but I would suggest looking into how much it would cost to invest in your own equipment and compare to the cost of outsourcing. Once you have those figures, it may be more clear to you as to what approach you would feel more comfortable with 😊
hi there jen I'm glad I came across your video as a person who was struggling with their health right now and who was having a hard time Financial wise I've always wanted to try to put my artwork out there and maybe try the print on demand business but being unemployed has hindered me in this department I can't even start without up front investment so do you have any advice?. my artwork is A.I made but only half because the background stories come from me. so as much fun as it is to use this tool to help me out as well as hand drawing.....and posting to my IG and Tiktok idk what to do.
Thank you so much for sharing ❤🙏🏾 your videos are extremely informative and very helpful. You also give off a calm and soothing vibe as well 🥰 *Subscribe!*

HI small artist here, I have a question, is in the long term worth buying a cricut and make our own stickers and prints? Rather than using suppliers?
