Honestly, as an artist, the best "support me as an artist" gift I could possibly get are gift cards to the art supply stores/sites I prefer/frequent. That way, I can make sure I'm getting the supplies I actually need and not getting supplies that people THINK I need. I don't need to be gifted a bunch of markers if I don't even do art with markers (for example). People seem to think that gift cards are cop-out gifts but I think it's very much the opposite. A gift card to a place I love says "I want you to be able to afford something you need and I support your hobby." Also, unpopular opinion: If you stop gifting each other on christmas (as adults), you'll have the money available to get yourself something you really want/need, and they can do the same for themselves = everyone wins.
Lovely video! The starry paper was so pretty! I have converted to reusable wrapping methods for sustainability (furoshiki, cloth gift bags, etc) but otherwise I'd be asking where you got that! I would add a great gift for any creative is a gift card for their preferred art supply store. It's a fantastic way to give them the freedom to stock up on things that help them in their journey. Another thing I think any creative who makes physical arts would appreciate is a cute apron. I love a good canvas apron with a cute print. It let's me be creative without worrying so much about my clothes getting messy! Happy holidays and I'm so happy to keep watching you grow friend!
Thank you for sharing ❤ this is very inspiring even for beginners artists to find useful items for their future activity (hopefully ☺️). I just discovered your channel with this video and will definetely be watching more of it 😻
I have problems with my signo uni ball gel pens. I bought a bunch and they all dried out. Before I even used the most of them. And couldn’t undry them either
Copic and Ohuhu are great alcohol marker options, but I would not recommend Blick Studio. I had a couple of different sets and they dried out super fast! So disappointing… especially considering Blick is a good brand for other art supplies.
POV: It’s the 5th time somebody had given you a full on art kit for a gift and you have no idea what to do with them 😭 (I already have art supplies that are barely touched)
You can get the same colors directly from the Toyo website and they ship from Japan but they are also available at Cult Pens :cultpens.com/products/toyo-steel-trunk-shape-toolbox-t-190?variant=46183329464563&country=US&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAuou6BhDhARIsAIfgrn6moLfcC0WhPBdJQ608b8_-wY_S5Uf7CCI0vemGajJhFvFFmkLtchEaAhp0EALw_wcB
Sending this to my grandma who never knows how to shop for me!
This could not come at a better time, so many great tips! (yes I'm gonna show it to my hubby😉)

What printer model are you using for printing?
