Rumble Bee Project - Part 2 - Primer and Paint

- Thank you for watching! This is where the Dodge Rumble Bee really takes shape! In this video we smooth everything out and body fill areas that need it. Then we sand everything down and do a last bit of light filler for the last few imperfections. Once that was all done we laid down a nice thick coat of primer. Its funny how the truck looked much better once it was covered in primer because it was all one color again. But the real transformation came when the yellow paint was sprayed! 3 coats of color went on before spraying the clear coat. What a transformation this truck has had. It was in really rough shape. even where the black paint still looked ok, it really wasn't. Obviously there was a lot of rust, but even where the paint was still intact, it was riddled with scratches, pitting, dings and dents and just in poor condition in general. Thank you for watching! We hope you like the video and consider subscribing!
We have another project coming out next week so keep an eye out for that!

Thank you ! Totally agree, the decal is an important part of the Rumble Bee. Really trying to convince her
Cool build guys!.. keep them coming
Thanks! We'll have another one next Friday! A German icon!
Channel is filling out nicely!!
Trying our best! Takes time! Starting with 1 video week for now
Looks killer! Like a Bee! Get it? Killer Bee! I'll see myself out...
Haha, nice!
That wrapsup the Rumble Bee series nicely!
Next we have a German icon!
it's amazing what some paint and alot of elbow grease can accomplish. nice work
Oh ya, a lot of elbow grease haha. But she loves it and she is getting the Rumble Bee decal printed up for the box of the truck too!
@@RustedRides i've got an oldbmw e39 that im fixing, but i dont even have a garage to be in. im hoping to do something similar to it, but with some tarp or partytent, just fix the rust in the sills and give it an overhaul so i looks descent. really liked the idea when you did the VIBE with rustoleum. thinking about just spraying the car like nardo gray or something, its silvermetallic at the moment.
Looks great guys! Can't wait for the next one!
Thank you! So much more to come!!
Enjoyed watching!!
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks!
Bro, I now want you to do my truck lol
Glad you like the results! What color would you like your truck?
@@RustedRides it's been through battles with the salt trucks of Toronto lol... And the potholes
What truck is it? Maybe we could feature it on the channel. Reach out to us on the about section of our channel.
Do the Bee
Yes, it needs the bee
Put the decal on is my opinion.
Yes! Thank you! We've thought about just buying the decals and putting them on, if she hates it they can come off easy enough. It's the only way to finish it! Also, love your hot rod! We have a Model A coming up on the chanel real soon!
That 3rd gen looks killer...could you do a little more in depth about how to do the box sides? You welded on top so how do you transition to the existing metal so it doesnt look like its above?
Just realized we responded to one of your other comments haha. Yes welded with an overlap. Gotta blend with body fill. But good idea. Maybe the next truck we do we'll see about doing bit more in depth on the patch. We are working on a 2nd Gen Cummins right now but already past the patches.
put the decal on. it’s not a rumble bee with out it
Agreed! I think she did end up getting the decals, but needs to put them on still
So you just make the videos and they do all the work?
Usually the person who does the video also does the work.
Somebody is getting ripped off.
Haha it's a shared workload. There is a lot of time behind the scenes sorting footage and editing that no one sees. But I do help when I can on the cars too
@@RustedRides
Sure... anything but manual labor.
