Being a former automotive painter, I look forward to your videos every Friday. This pearl combination needs to be available to the public. It is simply fantastic. Definitely a 5.
I usually find paint jobs like this tacky or over done. It's flashy, but I would never want it on my vehicle. When you started on the shots of this paint job, I could palpably feel how much I wanted this. It's so stately, so rich, so subtle, so deep. This is an aesthetic victory.
That's about an 11 or 12 out of 5!!! That is waaaaaay nicer than I was expecting. Essentially 3 colors in and 64 shades of AWESOMENESS out!!! Well done again gentlemen!!!
Wow that's a keeper. I'm curious what this would look like on a silver base. I think you need to experiment more with this pearl combo. Maybe do some test shapes and see what happens.
Absolutely gorgeous. All my favorite car colors BLENDED into one. A cobalt blue with a nearly black purple backed up with a firey wine and to top off this elegant combo, hints of copper. 5+ and then some.
I could see this being an incredible base for some decal work. The way it goes through the spectrum when you see it drive by makes me want to say something like “Neptune Sunset”
I'd actually like to see it as the decal colour rather than base, make the detailing really pop and stand out. Imagine it as a detail colour over pearlescent white :)
Again another awesome colour combo. Stunning shades from black through purples, blues, reds and even a burnt orange. You have broken my eyes with that one. 5 with no doubt.
This is every color I've ever wanted in a car all rolled into one. It even completely entranced the cat when I was playing it on the big TV! He was fascinated and watched the whole end of the video with the reveal. He wants me to play it again! 10/5
This is probably the most unique paint I’ve seen. The depth is unreal. You can see the blue, the red and the black, and even purple. I knew it was gonna look awesome when you were pouring it into the sprayer. 10 out of 5
I'm not a big fan of cars, but I was a BIG fan of Need for Speed Underground back in the day, and I loved to tune my cars in game and playing around with all the options of shifting colors. Since then, I've been obsessed with colors in general, and I just found your videos. I LOVE THEM! I could watch for hours when you mix the colors with your swirlything. 10 out of 10. This is bombshell. Seriously one of you guys' biggest wins. Definitely serendipity. You did indeed get your purple but you also get burgundy, maroon, red, amber and black with a hint of deep blue at the far edge. Definitely a grand slam.
As soon as I saw the bucket pour I knew this would be an insane fade, lovely bright red to deep blue with tons of purples at certain angles, literally looks like cgi or "comic book" type shading at times.
To be completely honest, I thought initially that this was going to turn out horrible. However, I have never been happier to be wrong in my life thus far. This turned out sensational ...to the point.... I'm actually curious as to how that would look over a silver base or a white one. Good job guys! I absolutely love this!❤
So far, this is the only shift I've seen that I genuinely like and would want to have done. Others have been good... but from a distance, of sorts. This is just damn fine.
Same here. Pretty much every shift I've seen on here has been something that I would say looks good, even great, but not necessarily something I would personally want on my own vehicle. This one though, I am definitely doing for myself.
That Amber to Blue at 6:51 is amazing as it's poured. I wonder if there's a way to get those ambers and blues to pop a bit better in the final, or if they somehow get lost with the finish or something.
If I wanted to rate this color 1 to 5, I'd give it a solid 37. This is INCREDIBLE. Got me really thinking about what I want to do when my wrap comes off in a few years, this is almost exactly what I'm looking for. I love the "can't tell what color it is" aspect. It's gorgeous at all angles and with a curvier car, this will look mint.
This is the coolest combination I've ever seen you do. I think it even surpasses the Musou Black and hypershift spray from years ago, especially considering that this is a feasible design for any car.
@@jacobm2625 OR... hear me out here, he COULD order the pearls and everything else from DipYourCar and spray it on his car for a fraction of the price?
Was thinking the same, I wonder what other types of cars this would fit on, like would a Polestar be good in it? Such a fine line between stylish and vulgar
5/5 easy. Red and blue aren't my favorite colors, but this is gorgeous, and something about the blue acts as an even greater contrast vs the red then black alone would. I love how at some angles i blends into a purple and magenta as well, and the gradient/blending falloff is perfect, at any given angle you get both ends of the two main colors. I'd LOVE to see this with a green and a purple-black
5/5 The colors are vibrant and definitely unexpected. The black cherry to amber to magenta to purple and back down the range is just unbelievably GORGEOUS! I would love to have this as a full on paint job on our Prius, it would make it seriously stand out. LOVE LOVE LOVE this happy accident. Experimentation at it's finest! Please keep going, perhaps one day I will give you a challenge for colors, but right now, I need to find a way to make this into a pigment to use in resin... Yes, am one of those crazy resin artists.
I don't know how I found my way here but I'm glad I did! This color is absolutely stunning! From a creative painter perspective I thought it may have gotten darker since blue normally tends to easily overpower other colors but wow! Also only in the glass the color looked already magical!
I've loved so many of the hypershifts over the years, but this is absolutely my favorite of all time. I'd love to see more experiments like this, and I love how it turned into something that was absolutely more than the sum of its parts. Easy 10/5
I'm not sure how it works with these pearly shifting pigments, but I'd like to clarify one thing about color mixing. In regular paints and pigments, the colours are subractive: Blue + Red= muddy ugly purplish Cyan + Magenta = Blue Blue + Magenta = Purple In pearlescent colours, you may be getting an additive effect, which in this case would be a red and a blue combining at certain angles to make a rich, dark magenta.
Yay another true color enthusiast! Magenta and blue’s purple is the most gorgeous amethyst color ever. Red cant compete since its magenta and yellow. The yellow cancels out some purple
I’ve been following you for a while and this might be my favorite yet. Stunning color shift. The red end of it the shift is incredible and the subtle blue under is wow
Really a happy accident with this, love the autumn sunset kind of colors that appear in more direct angles and wine reds. The pearl disapears to black and adds a subtlety to the coat, 5/5
Definitely an interesting and really cool color combination. kind of a blue-purple-red mix that's been tinted darker by the black pigment. Still curious on where the amber hues are coming from on some angles. but it's a really nice result that was far away from expectations. Might need to order this on the spring sale
Definitely looks awesome! I wonder how these ZB pearls would look over different base colors though. Like ZBB might show more blue over blue base. Maybe you guys could try a few different speed shapes with different base colors (white, grey, and a few different blues) for ZZB to go over.
10 out of 5. This is my personal favorite mixture that you guys have ever done. You guys should do some more odd Hypershift mixes and maybe with different base coat colors
Came out like I hoped for! Dope color combo...if this worked so well what about other combos like this??? The richness of the colors is stupidly satisfying 🤤
You make me want to do this everyday. This is truly one of the most interesting conceptions I've seen seen from you. I think this will be the first colour I attempt. Magnificent!!
YOOOOO!! It actually hits all of the colors. That's soooo slick. I've always been partial to darker tones myself. Hits it right on the head for me. It's like a gentleman's car if that makes sense. Absolutely love it. 10/5
Very nice and subtle changes, really wish you would start doing test pieces using opposite base coat as full scale though, would be interesting to see the difference a base coat makes on these crazy combinations, use whatever base coat you feel will work best on the full scale car but also do a test piece with the opposite base coat
Ugh, that ZBB is so pretty just by itself! The dimensionality of the outcome of the ZBB and the ZBR together though 🤯it's got red, orange, blue, purple, and black!! It looks like a completely different color from every angle. I can't get enough of that.
Incredible! 5/5 I was surprised how red it looked at first! So glad you didn’t increase the ratio of red. This was perfect. It looks like someone drew a car in almost-cooled lava and then did the shadows in deep sapphire. Like the shadows have their own color palate 🤯 definitely would run off the road if I saw this car while driving and trying to figure out what color it is.

My previous favorite all time was the Red to Black hypershift you did about 2 years ago.. This is now my favorite! the shifts and color changes are mind blowing! 5/5!!
OMG the amount of colors that I'm seeing is insane !!! I'm seeing deep amethyst, reds, blues, purples, orange and a little yellow. I think this project came out amazing !!!!! On a 1-5 I have to give it a 10. LOL
Gentleman I have to give this a 5, is bright, deep and rich all together in just the right amount of proportions. The transitions are so smooth between the color shifts. I would love to see my Chevy S-10 painted in this exact mix.
This is definitely best color you ever made on your channel ,looks rich, looks expensive, and this shift is so amazing ,i love this purple ,cherrry, apple candy like as base, and then shifts to this dark blue, and gold ,i am speechless .great job guys! Unluckily for me i live in California so i cant have this on my car :( but anyway this is my favorite color from all of them that you did it.
That looked so crazy when you were pouring it into the pot. The end result is just sick! I absolutely love this and I'm no fan of these color shift but this was mesmerizing. I had to watch it over again
Only seen a couple videos so far and I first have to say, that waterfall shot of you pouring the mix into the sprayer was beautiful. I was in awe. And the final outcome couldn’t be better. It’s got everything you could want. 6/5
I'd give it a 6 outta 5 ... why the extra? Well, because its not green (of course) so +1. I agree this doesn't come close to what you were hoping for, but the outcome is one of the best color schemes (to me) you've done in a while. The red and the blue play spectacular together. It is an awesome combination. I think there's a LOT more red showing through than you expected. No matter ... red is my favorite color, so I LIKE IT! Well done guys!
Lemme know when you do a Blue/Green/Purple hypershift. Kinda in the mold of the 2004 Cobra Mustang Mystic Chrome. Also the Red showed up but the blue simply did not. Saw some purple in there though......maybe that's where it went?
OK, I changed my mind... this combo is perfection alone (obviously), but ALSO needs to be an 'under layer', AND THEN do the Holographic Rainbow Pearl on top of this. Only THEN will the perfect Cosmic Car paint job be complete!
That is absolutely amazing! I was not expecting that deep copperish color! I love how it maintained the black on the accent angles- love your videos we have similar imaginations!
O.O That is the most amazing color yet ,and I have been watching for a long time. on a 1-5 I give this a 10...... So many colors through the transitions. Also right before you started to spray this I was concerned about the base color , and even though this is amazing I think you could get some more great finishes with some different bases.
I give this one a 20/5. I like to put models of cars and trucks together, and you’ve been giving me ideas on how I could do my own custom paint jobs. Thank You.
straight 5, this turned out so much better than i thought, great job, love the sfhit from red to purple to amber and black.. totally not expecting that
This is absolute fire. Probably a 42.7 out of 5! Makes me wish I had a better car because I would be shipping it to you to get it done like this. So many colors in this paint... black to black cherry to hints of blue to purple and red. Even a little burnt orange from some angles. This is one of your best!
WOW! I don't usually like copper or brown-orange-amber-y colors on cars but this may be my favorite color yet! especially with the blue to pink colors. 💙💜💖
4/5 looks really good. When you were mixing i was hoping for a more pop magenta and blue. But that red cane through heavy. Overall spiderman would be impressed. Keep up the skills and great work gents

OMG the amount of colors that I'm seeing is insane !!! I'm seeing deep amethyst, reds, blues, purples, orange and a little yellow. I think this project came out amazing !!!!! On a 1-5 I have to give it a 10. LOL
This color goes hard! Stealthy at some angles loud at others love the deep red to purple shifts
That is the most incredible color shift ever. Amazing results and definitely way better than the original expectation... love love love it 10 outta 5
Need to experiment with different pigment loads ans spray the speed shapes and see if there is a difference
Lemme know when you do a Blue/Green/Purple hypershift. Kinda in the mold of the 2004 Cobra Mustang Mystic Chrome. Also the Red showed up but the blue simply did not. Saw some purple in there though......maybe that's where it went?
Very elegant and appropriately understated. The number of visible colors and the transitions between them are amazing.
OK, I changed my mind... this combo is perfection alone (obviously), but ALSO needs to be an 'under layer', AND THEN do the Holographic Rainbow Pearl on top of this. Only THEN will the perfect Cosmic Car paint job be complete!
Midnight sunset
Electric Moonrise
I usually think paint is a very nice cherry , but this job I have to say is the best paint job I've ever seen
I just started watching this channel a few months ago and recently subscribed, but this is without a doubt the best mix I've seen yet.
Hands down my favorite combo. Absolute perfection! I want this on my car.
I give this one a 20/5. I like to put models of cars and trucks together, and you’ve been giving me ideas on how I could do my own custom paint jobs. Thank You.
Wow! Just wow! You guys out did your selves. Simply gorgeous.
That's definitely a 10 out of 5. WOW! That is fantastic. The reds, Blues, Purples, and Blacks are MAGIC!
straight 5, this turned out so much better than i thought, great job, love the sfhit from red to purple to amber and black.. totally not expecting that
This is absolute fire.
oops I forgot... 5!
OMG look at the pigment transitions! I agree, available to the public! What a DREAM COMBO!
4/5 looks really good.
When you were mixing i was hoping for a more pop magenta and blue. But that red cane through heavy. Overall spiderman would be impressed. Keep up the skills and great work gents
You know Fonzie your thinking of ( this could go horribly wrong) has always been a good thing. It's always turned out to look awesome 👌.
Yes, yes, yes. 10. Love to paint my mini bike that color. Amazing color. Gives so many options on what you can do with your accents and accessories as well
10/5 way more beautiful than I expected. 💯💯💯
5/5 best one I've seen so far! The range of color is amazing.
Wow! That has to be one of the best "accidents" you've had.
It had red, blue, purple, and black all at the same time. Definite 5/5.
One, that pour shot, is it blue, is it red? Perfection.
Two, That final, ya'll knocked it out the park. Solid 5/5.
