Higher budgets can lead to higher ticket prices, which will deter some audiences from going to the movies altogether. If people feel they’re being priced out of the experience, they may choose to skip it, impacting box office numbers and the overall health of the industry. It’s not just about expectations; it’s about accessibility. If we want to keep audiences engaged, we need to consider how budget pressures affect their willingness to spend.
So this man makes a major hit and success, one of DC's biggest hits with a low budget but with an even bigger budget he makes a way less successful film possibly dare I say a flop?! I don't think it'll flop but at this rate it sounds like it'll be downvoted to oblivion and not make as much of a profit as the first one
I don't mind people imagining themselves as being involved with these movies but I wish more people imagined themselves as the creative arm of the movies and less as the business arm. I guess it's easier to talk about numbers when you don't have the vocabulary to speak about movies beyond surface level observations.
Funny you saying that when I see Arthur I don't think of the joker I just see jauoquin phoenix with clown make up he looks and sounds nothing like the character from the comic books didnt the joker have an english accent and short hair.
Both Video games and Films have gotten insane budgets now. At some point you start to wonder what for. Deadpool & Wolverine has twice the budget of DP2 yet the latter looks more visually impressive.
I completely agree. I hate the superhero community. All they care about is money. Who cares? I don’t care if the film has a bigger budget. I don’t care if the film is a success. I care that the director gets to make his film, the way he wants it. The only other thing I care about is what I think of the film. I can’t possibly fathom the way these people think. It’s killing cinema. This is how we get stuck with cookie cutter marvel films.
Well when we hear WB went into this thinking “if $60Million=$1Billion, then $200+Million will=$2Billion” with the worst math and probability stats, it feels like the studio wants to shoot themselves in the foot for a sequel that doesn’t need to exist - it’s great it opened up jobs but what would it mean for jobs, productions, and other Elseworld tales in the future when WB sees their math won’t deliver?
So between 60 and 200. Considering he said "much more" i'd wager its somewhere in the middle if not a bit higher. $125-150M would be my guess. Either way it should have no trouble making the money back and then some.
despite being Joker in name only and harley quinn in name only being literal fan fiction that has nothing to do with the actual characters that it's supposed to be based on just the overall direction for this abomination has been dreadful. the first movie put me to sleep shit had nothing to do with joker at all and was a boring mess that had no ties to the source material and even to joker himself.
I hope it does well, but the buzz on it doesn't seem very good, so I guess time will tell. I hate to say it but I have a feeling it won't do great. I just think people have moved on, but I can be wrong. Time will tell.
People are just soft nowadays its really sad how they go after people they know nothing about and throw huge fits because its a musical like stfu who cares its their movie if it bothers you that much go make one of you're own or don't watch it musicals have been known to bring in good money this could be one of those if people stopped being uptight and actually gave things a chance instead of assuming 😂

The price of tickets don't change bc of budget 😂
I paid $12 to see see Deadpool and Wolverine on a $200M budget and I also paid $12 to see Longlegs on an under $10M budget.
BASED!. twitter heard some uppity cinephile and now they just parrot movies being bad if the budget is higher so stupid
He's just mad his over inflated budget will contribute to his movie being a massive flop 😂😂😂
is hellboy on pluto tv yes or no like you said
He KNOWS his decision to make the 2nd film a musical automatically= LESS MONEY even if it is successful 💰🤑💰.
🤣😂

Just not a fan of gaga, CANT SEE THE CHARACTER. Just the BIG celebritie. Already taking from this world

I think she’s perfect, although I am kind of a fan of her. Her and Tony Bennett’s album Cheek to Cheek is one of the best.
@Stumme-40203 thats the problem
@@latenightwizard6892 She’s perfect for the role? I don’t see how that’s a problem.
@Stumme-40203 Calm down. It's okay
I can’t wait for the movie “DEAD-4-POOL” & the spinoff show “POOLVERINE: Feigi à Deux”
you mean vulva-rine, for modern audiences
I agree with armin and Todd Philips.
Honestly, this movie doesn't deserve the negativity it's getting.
Let's just see how it is.

These movie productions manage money just like the US Government 😂

He's about to find out why a high budget for a sequel can be a very bad thing

Fans get nervous, because if the budget is too big and the film fails, then there will beless content.

I’m getting James Mangold/Paul Feig vibes.
Yeah, he’s just absolutely salty that his inflated budget absolutely made a movie shit
Not going to bother seeing this theatrically. Will watch when it streams. Doesn't sound as good as the first.

That's what happens when you cast Lady Gaga.
no, that's what happened when u publicly admit that ur not going to honor the source material
The loans these studios take out most of the money goes abroad.
