There could be a new MCU Wolverine, Hugh can retire Wolverine but continue as Logan (preferably old man Logan which I think would be sick) and Laura could join and still continue as X-23 without having to be recasted

What they do is keep him after secret wars and then kill him off in the next big crossover film and he dies in adimantium like the comics he becomes a statue
Hugh isn't making it out of Secret Wars alive, if he even makes it that far. Also, no real reason for him to. Use him to set up Logans kids, clones, and various legacy aspects of the characters. Hugh gave it good representation. Lets not rehash stuff thats been done already in live action.

i wouldn't mind him getting an arc that ends with him actually sacrificing himself for deadpool, laura & his other new friends in 10005 in doomsday/ secret wars. but i also hope they come up with something more original than that.
