The definition of, "Sometimes love just isn't enough."
Wow 1979, a gorgeous prom date and Fleetwood Mac’s concert, we are still together. Kids grandkids and even great grandkids. Thank you Fleetwood Mac
Congrats!!
That's lovely
I am obsessed watching the love between these two beautiful talented and gifted people. If they ever teamed up again and wrote more two-part harmonies,...well, then the world will be set right again. Who else can feel it when she holds him while he plays...
Ha, so much for love. Stevie Nicks said it's either me or Buckingham as Lindsey was essentially fired from Fleetwood Mac in 2018.
@@michaelwainscott2633 - You obviously don’t know the history of these two (lol). They’ve been feuding since they broke up back in 1977. That’s in the neighborhood of 45 years! If you think Stevie and Lindsey will never perform together again, you’re not paying attention. Lindsey will be back in Fleetwood Mac, as sure as the sun will rise…..
@@stannis768 You're a clown, and you're wrong. It's over. She's too old and she doesn't care any more. They have been performing without Lindsey and he's been doing a solo gig. Stevie already said it took her a long time to finally break free.
@@michaelwainscott2633 - Yeah I’m a clown. Seems like you got your feelings hurt because you don’t have clue as to what you’re talking about. Yeah, “they” have been performing without him (2018 FM Tour) was a financial move and had zero to do with FM’s legacy. Lindsey has said on more than one occasion mentioned he’s working his way back into FM. But hey chump you believe what you want makes zero difference to me.
@@stannis768 Love hate for 40 years now
Best female rock voice of our time, beautiful track, you can read so much into the lyrics it’s everyone’s story!
I’m gonna agree. Anne Wilson is pretty good, too. Both can compete with a ton of male lead singers.
Linda Ronstadt?
You're joking, right? Many, many better voices than Stevie Nicks. But she was a terrific song writer and a female rock trail blazer. But great voice? Hardly.
@@michaelwainscott2633 Have to agree with you! Love Stevie but wouldn't call her Best.
Ann Wilson. Linda Ronstadt. Grace slick.
My wife's favorite song.. she gets passed ...every time I hear or play it I get emotional. This is a great version
Oh yes, I’m getting older too… - Hits harder now more than ever.
I just happened to notice that this video was posted on Stevie’s birthday, May 26. This is every bit as excellent a performance of “Landslide” as the one in The Dance…that moment when Lindsey just put a fist to his chin in awe of how amazing Stevie is…these two people make me so happy and so sad at the same time. ♥️
Stevie never had a great voice. And the years took its toll. Great song, though, and they richly deserve Rock and Roll HOF recognition. In 1997-98 period, the best voice of the group at that point was Lindsey Buckhingham. But kudos for the group giving the face of Fleetwood Mac, Nicks, a chance to sing a song she wrote and performed 20+ years ago.
To this day I get shivers listening to them perform this song together ......magical.
You can tell they were nervous here, and Buckingham even messed up at 1:56. For context, the stakes were extremely high that night-not only were they unexpectedly Number 1 on Billboard again for the first time in 20 years with their live reunion CD “The Dance”, and also literally just ended an exhaustive reunion tour, but also inducted that night with them and in the audience were Paul McCartney, The Eagles, Santana, and The Mamas and the Papas!!
Lindsey you’re the heart of the band, they need you.
Always gives it 100 percent even though she has sang it 1000ds of time. Respect
I'm black and love Fleetwood Mac. God bless that couple that been together forever my favorite is landslide. the lyrics take you somewhere peaceful with understanding. My sister was drunk and sang "i'm getting older too". Too funny, even her grankids now about that. Lol!
Love your post and I hope your sister keeps singing them words to ya a beautiful song x luv From London England
Why do you feel the need to us you are black?
I stand by Stevie! Miss all of you!
How rude? Stand by Steve Perry? Gonna be missing you in Boston Monday. Such what?
The way Lindsey looks at her!
Specifically?…
@@MarkEWallace You need me to explain?

Stevie young or today has a strong timeless face. Even her hair is timeless loving your face hair voice and everything about you girl you rock 😍
This was 25 years ago.
I love them together
Happy birthday Stevie ur amazing my favorite song ever and ever, love ya
Maravilhosa!!!! From Belo Horizonte/Brazil
Happy Birthday , Stevie
can't watch without crying 😭
Me too 💔
Stevie wrote this beautiful song
And?
Her voice sounds the same love! Amazing!
OH MIRROR IN THE SKY WHAT IS LOVE ?
VERY TOUCHING SONG
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
Doesn’t capture the magic of the original recorded version. Then, it was real for her. They were breaking up. She bared her soul. Unvarnished self-doubt, helplessness, fallen. Not often do we hear such pure honesty. Lindsey's guitar backing on the original carried a lilting, whimsical touch of empathy that made the recorded version so moving.
Well said also there was tension in this performance when she stood behind him I'm sure he let her know get away other performances of this great song are better
Well written!!
Can't believe she was 50 in this
Sei fantasticaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
La mia preferita di Stevie
Stevie ❤️❤️❤️
meravigliosamente struggente
Incredible ⭐
Oooooh I adore this song!! Stevie singing so perfectly. Lindsey just on the acoustic ....
The two ex love birds...
HER HAND SUBTLY TOUCHES HIS BACK WITH HER LOVE & MAGIC
Alas,gone.
Stevie,he's got a wife.
The cute wee peck & hug at the end.....their love is forever.
Nutcase
Te amo Stevie ♥️
3:19 the first & only place of connection
And even that probably sucked for both of them.
Thanks
super..........
Rest In Peace Christine mcvie....
yeah, it's "schtick"....the bit where she gets behind him and holds his shoulders on the "solo:" bit, the romantic in me always finds that moving. This performance esp so.....because if you look closely during that bit, LB is leaning into her. He kind of muffs a note and then he really leans into her.....almost like he's saying "we got each other's back"..
lindsey's like ooops , stevie is like lol...
❤️
She wrote this song about lindsey and her relationship they were having rough when she wrote the song but she how it would go so they both sat down together and lindsey buckingham got the guitar 🎸 links and that was it. Even today stevie would say she hand lindsey a written song she write he would have done about hour or two.
At a least one leg of your journey you can relate to this.
Wow, yesterday I found out Landslide was a cover of Fleetwood, I always thought it was a smashing pumpkins original.
🤦🏻
Lmao
My dear child
I believe they will always have a love for each other
Just dropped in on January 1, 2021 to wistfully ruminate on their productive yet always complicated pairing...sigh
Me top favorite Witch....sorry Ann.....yer me 2nd!....you know.....its a very rare thing to see Lindsey (fobble)...lol...I suppose if Stevie had her hands on me.......I d fobble too.....ONE of the greatest bands to walk planet earth Brothers n Sisters....yep....Pure Magic.....Lindsey is ALL alone with his guitar playing ability....surely a guitar god....and Dude can freakin sing his ass off too.....Queen Stevie is just that.....the best...Thanks for the flaskback....98 was a good year......lol
Sorry Ann... Ann Wilson ?
@@benlomer8469 yessir.....Ann Wilson of HEART.....I listen them damn near daily....lol....Tootaloo n stay safe out there!!!!.....
They should have had a child together. They probably would have found peace and created a genius.
No doubt. But I don't think that's on Stevie's agenda
Ok who shed a tear (?)

Why?
With Chris passing time to forgive and put original line up back.
They should ave married they have been close all these years
It seems Lindsey is playing a little too fast in the first part of the song. (???) I’ve heard this live numerous times and Stevie seems to struggle to keep up.
I think the tempo makes this version better.
there is no greater female rocker than SN!
JESUS LOVES YOU
I love it she tries to snuggle on him he ignores her pretty much. "You aren't over shadowing my moment, remember I am WHY you are here you witch"
Nice of LB to let his waitress ex-girlfriend sing her little song here.
Grow up 🤡
it's fun to see people failing so terribly at clown auditions! thank you for your cringe contribution
i ugly cried
