Thank you so much! I am 71yrs male..I love your show dear, and I also love your opinions/talks about our beautiful Constitution, values, brave wonderful soldiers, etc. You are a true American!!!
Thank you so much for the true tribute to the Men and Women that have served our country ❤️🇺🇸 Thank you for reminding us why it is so important to choose Jesus ❤️ We have all been truly blessed by your wisdom. Thank you 🙌❤️😇
Lady, I don't even care about the cobbler anymore. You just blessed my soul, my father's, and every American patriot who fought for this Country. God Bless you, and thank you.
FINALLY ! A REAL cobbler recipe, just like my grandmother’s ! Your recipes and channel have rare ingredients, that are getting harder to find. They include love, values, ethics, patriotism and morality. All of those are getting lost in our society and are not being passed on to younger generations. I want to thank you for putting these proudly on display. Anyone who is “offended” by the mention of God and want to “take a knee”, can take a hike. They don’t deserve a bowl of cobbler. God bless and thank you for your amazing channel ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
My wife bless her heart has tired so many Peach Cobbler recipes and none have tasted the way the recipe describes. She follows the recipes to the t and they all never taste good. I am not saying it is her fault. Yesterday we watched this recipe and immediately she said she was going to try it. Well today Jan 25 2021 she made this here recipe and Lord have mercy, it is the BEST !!! Now I am not stretching the truth this lady's recipe beats them all. I printed the recipe and its a winner in our home. My wife has done nothing but smile and praise this recipe. You and your grandma. aunts should be very proud !!! Also thank you for such a sweet reminder about Memorial Day.
Your peach cobbler looks delicious 😋 I’ll definitely try it. Thank you for sharing about our founding fathers and how our constitution gives us our rights to freedom of religion and free speech. That’s sooo important. Without our constitution we would not be the country we are today. Our freedoms are what make our country strong and great. I totally agree with you. Also, thank you for sharing your family recipe. It looks easier than making a pie❤️👍🇺🇸🎊 Thank you to all the veterans and those serving our country in the military now. God bless you all.
Thank you for paying tribute to our wonderful veterans. My dear husband, Lee was a proud Viet Nam combat Vet who passed away from cancers resulting from exposure to Agent Orange. It touched his heart every time someone showed patriotism to our flag or showed respect or thanks to our US Vets. God bless!
You are a beautiful person! Thank you for your knowledge and tribute to Memorial Day! Knowledge worth sharing and knowing! I must try this wonderful recipe!
theresa bollman my sweet cousin, David McClendon passed away also from cancer due to Agent Orange in the late 1970’s. His little brother, Kenny McClendon, died in 1969 in Vietnam Nam. He was only 19 and had been in country for about 3 weeks. He stepped on a land mine and there weren’t many pieces to pick up. His fellow soldiers sent my poor Aunt Grace enough to bury. She was never the same after Kenny was killed so when her only other son died a few years later she just became a pile of tears for the rest of her life. She lived another 25 years somehow. But we always felt as if Vietnam Nam took her too. Bless her sweet heart.
Theresa, thank you to you and your husband for your service to our country. Make no mistake, if you were married to a soldier, you served too. I have several friends that died like your husband did. God bless.
My brother in law passed away at a tragically young age from Nonhodkins Lymphoma. What is horrific is...the medical community spends far too much time on naming the disease than they do stopping it! How dare they kill our young so cavalierly???
Thank you so much for sharing this. My daddy was a WWll infantry soldier. He came home from the war but carried many battle scars. I miss him dearly. He raised us in a Christian home and I am eternally grateful for that. Thank you for honoring God, our wonderful veterans, and America. God bless you. Just subscribed.
Hey , Cobbler lady ! You may be Hillbilly , but you are what America needs right now . Your outlook on what it takes to cook cobbler and live the EXTRAORDINARY life of a BLESSED American is right out there ! GOD first , then others and then self . Then there is FREEDOM , NON RACISM , love for others and more peach cobbler than you can shake a stick at !!! GOD bless you and GOD bless our wonderful nation ....

Lovely, I have fond memories of cemetery cleaning and love that you have brought those back for me. Coming from a Mexican ancestry and born in Texas my parents made sure we knew how blessed we were, this year my brother was entombed back home in Ft Bliss with many of our other family members, thank you for the great recipe and the great reminder.
Amen Hillbilly Kitchen, keep GOD first in all things!! Thank you for sharing your faith and your recipe. To GOD be all the glory, and may HE continue to bless you richly!
Well I'm back again, to say thank you for this recipe this will be the third time I'm making it within a year's time. I will always treasure this recipe Becky because this is how I found you and your channel. My husband was raised Amish so I was looking for a really good authentic peach cobbler recipe and when I saw a hundred year old recipe, that's what drew me in. But now I stay because you put God first and you encourage us to put God first. You're my sister in Christ and I love you!
God bless you, Becky. You are wonderful and beautifully articulate in such a loving way. This recipe looks delicious and I'm looking forward to making it. And my belated and heartfelt "thank you"🏅 to all the veterans in these comments. God bless you for your service and sacrifice.
Wow. Clicked on this to find a good cobbler recipe. But your tribute to our troops and our freedom was worth the stop on its own God Bless you and your family, God Bless our troops and their families, God Bless and lead our President, and God Bless America.
I just love your words regarding our Veteran's. Every single one of them are HERO'S and deserve the utmost respect and honor. God bless you. and... God bless all, who have and continue to put their lives on the line for America and our freedoms.
Thank you so much for your recipes! I am a newlywed, married a little over a year now. I am still learning to cook and I have the cobbler in the oven now. I cannot wait for my husband to come home and try it! Thanks again!
You're so amazing! You bless me abundantly and you inspire me to continue to do all those daily little things that may seem unimportant and unnoticed, but Jesus sees ALL OF IT! Thank you for your love for our country being bold and simply Beautiful!❤🕊🙏
This is the first time I've ever watched your video and I have to say that I'm happy to know that you aren't afraid to speak of our Precious Savior for fear of offending someone, I appreciate and respect that tremendously. May God bless you tremendously in all you do!
Wonderful. Praise a God for you taking the stand so needed and bring n Back the American Spirit to live by Gods Word and ways and blessing the memory of our wonderful soldiers . We are still fighting for them and our country to be restored to its fullness . This cobbler is absolutely out of this world. I’ve had it is Church suppers and you never forget it once you’ve tasted and add some home made ice cream and wow! Been a long time since we’ve done this. Our families in heaven are watching over the brim.
Sometimes we forget what all those white markers are for and What Lies Beneath. They're someone's precious loved one who died so that we can live our lives in Freedom. They're not here anymore, so we could be. My precious brother was a Marine. Thanks for the reminder. Great video, I'm making it. 💕🌿💕🌿💕🌿💕🌿💕
Amen sister! My grandfather was a WWI veteran and was mighty disappointed when Armistice Day (commemorating WWI veterans) was combined with WWII to become Memorial Day. At any rate, thank you so much from your recipe and your message! God Bless America!
Our Family comes from 4 generations of military service ..I also married a service member.. and now my son will be following in his great grandfathers foot steps..Thank you for taking a few minutes to remember our fallen soldiers...and our active duty military..
Our country does not do recognize our veterans they has been shortchanged for many years. and unrecognized for needing more services available to them I believe that veterans who returned home and are fortunate to do so deserve a better welcoming home and more things should be made available to helping them make their transition back into the world after they've come back from serving in a war after all they gave the sacrifices so that we can live under the conditions we live and the freedoms that we have
Great video - have some peaches now and they are so good this year! And many thanks for giving credence and honor to our veterans and those who’ve gone before! It’s so sad Memorial Day is not honored and celebrated as it used to be! God bless you!
I loved your recipe but I salute you for the Memorial speech! Tears are rolling down my face. Thank you, my sister in Christ!! Have a blessed day......
This video was in my feed today. Two years later and what a wonderful recipe. I’m am making this for my mom. But more importantly thank you for sharing God and your patriotism. My soul was filled as you shared the history and facts of Memorial Day. God Bless You and your Family ♥️🦋
God bless you, sister. My dad was a WWII disabled Vet who landed in Normandy D-Day+30. He was wounded 3 times, twice in one day, and suffered from flashbacks and nightmares and pain from shrapnel for the rest of his life. I lost him 3 years ago and my heart still hurts. I adore cobblers and peach is one of my all time favorites. I've been using my wild wine berries and nectarines to make a fabulous cobbler in recent weeks. I have 70 acres and billions of berries! Respect & love from Ashe County, NC.
Thank you! I made this EXACTLY as you demonstrated. I started with a cold oven and put the butter in at the SAME time I turned on the peaches/sugar/lemon. Timing was impeccable-just as peaches boiled the butter was ready. I used 3/4 cup sugar with peaches and 3/4 cup sugar with the flour mixture as well and it was the right amount of sweetness. I used all-purpose flour so I made sure to add the baking powder and salt. I bought frozen peaches (another first for me, like baking cobbler). For us it was PERFECT. I hope others who watch this try it. It will quickly become a standby as it is so easy and delectable. We waited an hour and a half for the cobbler to cool before trying it. It was still deliciously warm but not too hot to burn the little ones mouths. Phenomenal! Thank you for the recipe and your message for our soldiers.
Thank you so much for paying tribute to our Vets and Memorial Day as well as bringing the Lord into this. I love your passion for Christ as well as all your wonderful recipes. Keep up the good work!
God bless you and thank you for this wonderful video on History and baking. So proud of you for taking a stand for our Lord and Savior and our Veterans.
You are one sweetheart of a lady! Thank you for thanking and thinking of our American soldiers! I love America so much; you lifted my heart ❤️ up so much. Hope to make a peach cobbler very soon just as you have taught us with a 100 year old recipe!
@@mrcoz1764 I am making this Cobbler! I didn't know that it use to be called Decoration Day. I am 47 and still learning. I have told this story and shared with friends on social media. I live in Oregon and find her channel interesting in how vastly different she leads her life. Culturally different from mine. She addressed to young people I think for the most part. I wish more people would say these things
cori mi im 65 and i had forgotten about it being called decoration day. nice brush up on me history.your commet to mr noz was well spoken and im here for the cobbler
I just want you to know how much I appreciate you! Not only are you an amazing down home cook, but your belief in our Lord Jesus Christ is so encouraging. I especially loved this episode with peach cobbler and the Memorial Day history lesson. I recently lost a friend who was a soldier in Syria. He had a wife and 2 children. So young! We miss our "Andy". God bless you!
Thank you so much for all your heart felt commentary. I had a father in WWII, three brothers in Vietnam and my husband served for 24 years. We didn't meet until he retired and we've been together almost 19 years now. It's important to acknowledge what their years of service has contributed to our history and our personal lives as well. Imagine that someone is hugging your neck right now. That would be me! ♥
Thank you for glorifying our Heavenly Father in your videos! So nice to see someone putting God first! Just subscribed, the food looks awesome! Thank you!
Praise God for allowing you to honor him on social media. This is the first time I watch you & I am loving you. I also love peach cobbler so can’t wait to try it. God bless you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great recipe,Becky! But, the video with your message. Gave me chills. Such a pleasure to have someone love this country so much. And understand the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country. That was the real president in that video. 🙏🇺🇸
I have really enjoyed your sharing of this recipe and I’m looking forward to making it some day soon. I love that it is an old family recipe, wow 100 years old! Thank you for your kind words and for sharing in an indirect way your faith in God. I love the way you have honored our military service men and women on Memorial Day for their sacrifice to our country. You have such a charming southern accent that is very relaxing as well. Take care and God Bless you today and always!
Those were uplifting words. Thank you for taking your time to honor the fallen. What a great honor. Good luck to you. I would listen to you the whole day. You a a wonderful woman. Keep it up. Never stop honoring those great men that fought and gave their life to freedom and democracy. With that speech, that cobbler is going to be the best cobbler ever. I am going to try to do it. I hope it comes out like yours. Good like to you and God bless.
Just like my Mama's recipe! We sprinkle it lightly with cinnamon before baking and the kitchen smells amazing while it bakes. Thank you for the Memorial Day message!!!
Thank you for your inspiring message; we should all be very grateful for the sacrifices made so that we may be free to be followers of Christ. God bless you and our country 🇺🇸 ♥️
I miss decoration days where all family got together for decoration day. I decorate graves on all holidays now. Several siblings served our country. Loved this video and your loyalty to our country and those who served. You are 100% right on defending our country and those who served. God is good. God bless you. Will be making this cobbler.
I had to stop and rewatch your video, because tears were streaming down my face. I was looking for a recipe, and yours is the first one I picked. I picked it because it said 100 year old recipe, so I figured it had to be good. I was so moved by the surprise in the middle of the video, of you honoring our fallen. I am the Gold Star Mother of SPC Dennis G. Jensen. Dennis was killed in Afghanistan 8/16/11 - he was 21. God Bless You for your message in this video. You are spot on, and I thank you for being a Patriot. I hope your message is heard and heeded - Thank you!
As a USN veteran myself, thank you for honoring the tradition. Thank you to all veterans and soldiers for your sacrifices seen and unseen ♥️
God Bless our country & all the men & women who gave their lives for our freedom

Thank you for sharing your family recipe and for your tribute to America’s freedom.
Beautiful speech God Bless America

Great recipe,Becky! But, the video with your message. Gave me chills. Such a pleasure to have someone love this country so much. And understand the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country. That was the real president in that video. 🙏🇺🇸

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing in an indirect way your faith in God. I love the way you have honored our military service men and women on Memorial Day for their sacrifice to our country. You have such a charming southern accent that is very relaxing as well. Take care and God Bless you today and always!
God Bless you for your words.
Loved your recipe and your video. We need more people to share and show our love and gratitude for God and country.
Thank you for your recipes, your faith and commitment to our country
Thanks for sharing with us, God bless you Pam!
Thank you for mentioning our service men Bless you for your voiceing this
Thank you for your inspiring message; we should all be very grateful for the sacrifices made so that we may be free to be followers of Christ. God bless you and our country 🇺🇸 ♥️
What if I don't want to worship an Arab jew, can i also do that?
I miss decoration days where all family got together for decoration day. I decorate graves on all holidays now. Several siblings served our country. Loved this video and your loyalty to our country and those who served. You are 100% right on defending our country and those who served. God is good. God bless you. Will be making this cobbler.
Wonderful recipe. Your words about Memorial Day brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for not being afraid to speak up. Lovely, clean kitchen, btw!
