This PEACH COBBLER recipe is amazing, it is a winner every time I make it. Fresh peaches will give you the best PEACH COBBLER every time and will never disappoint your family or friends. It is an easy and perfect recipe for Summertime or anytime of the year. This Peach Cobbler is delicious when served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but is super tasty when served cool too. I love the addition of cinnamon and nutmeg for extra homeade flavor but is optional. I always prefer a peach cobbler with fresh peaches, but if not in season you can use canned or frozen peaches or you can substitute the peaches for your favorite seasonal fruit. This easy and perfect Peach Cobbler will have your family or friends begging for more.
    INGREDIENTS FOR PEACH MIXTURE ---------------'
    5 PEACHES
    1/4 TSP SALT
    1/2 C. SUGAR
    1/4 C. LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
PINCH NUTMEG (OPTIONAL) (use very little)
    1/4 TSP CINNAMON
    1/2 TSP LEMON JUICE
    INGREDIENTS FOR BATTER --------------------
    6 TBSP MELTED BUTTER
    1 C. ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
    2 tsp BAKING POWDER
    1/2 C. SUGAR
PINCH NUTMEG (OPTIONAL) (use only a little pinch)
    1/2 tsp VANILLA EXTRACT
    3/4 C. MILK
    ● please dont over do the nutmeg, it's best to use what 2 fingers can pinch only.
    •TOPPER BEFORE BAKING --------------------
    CINNAMON (YOU DECIDE AMOUNT)
    I LIKE A GENEROUS AMOUNT.
    •SIDE FOR COBBLER------------
    VANILLA ICE CREAM (OPTIONAL)

I just made this recipe and it came out amazing! It’s not peach season though so I used 2 lbs of frozen peaches and also I added 2 tbsp of corn starch to the peach filling because it was really watery (probably from being frozen peaches). I prefer a thicker and richer peach filing. It was a hit and it’s already gone. Cannot wait to try this again during peach season here in SC!

@@CarmenHerrera-rx4ty I'm not a cook, but I believe defrosting would be better; I've thrown frozen into a pot before, mixed with all the seasonings--it wasn't quite right, but, then again, I didn't use peaches. Thank you! I've tried a couple of recipes like Cooking Network for peach cobbler but they were just average. They all had canned peaches and I really don't like using them; they don't have a lot of flavor. I'll be trying your recipe tomorrow. It looks amazing! I grew up in Panama and I really miss good ground beef empanadas. Have you posted a recipe for those? I know your recipe for them would be the best. I can tell by the care you take with each ingredient and I love how you explain every step so clearly. Thanks Rachel. You need a cooking show on the Food Network.

Oh my goodness! I love peach cobbler and peach. Pie. I never saw a recipe like this one! My cobbler or crum topping is hit or miss- so times it like a brick topping, sometimes it never gets crummy! I still have few peaches on the tree. I am sending my husband out to pick them. I am trying this one today. Home made ice cream, your killing me Rachel!

This is the BEST recipe, and the way I make my Peach Cobbler. We nearly always resort to using canned peaches due to living in a much cooler climate. But, fresh is always better. We love this woman and would love to see her on a national TV program of "Rachel Cooks With Love."❤

How many hours of peeling peaches and nectarines could have zipped by if I’d have known about your method 💖💖 oh my goodness thank you! We make more nectarine cobblers than peach, we just like the taste better. Try it sometime you may enjoy it too.

I used to do a lot of canning and always used this method for peeling your tomatoes, too, before putting them up...I do not, however, peel peaches/nectarines when making cobblers...a lot of folks do not know that the majority of "goodness" lies in the peels of your produce, so why would you peel your peaches, etc before eating them? Rachel's cobbler recipe looks yummy...I like how all the peaches are on top of the batter as opposed to being mixed in the batter - just don't peel the peaches!

@@gracieg5849 I'm guessing you're talking about nectarines and peaches when making cobblers and, yes, they are...they cook right along with the fruit. If you"re talking canning nectarines and peaches, I always skinned mine, but imagine you wouldn't have to since all the nutrients (most of them, anyway), are in the peels of fruits, but they might naturally remove themselves from the fruit during the actual canning process...hope this helps, if not, please get back to me😀
