#1 biggest change: kratos says boy 1 time whole game
And that one boy was the biggest boy kratos has ever said
BOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYY!!!
Brok really said
“🎉HAPPY RAGNAROK EVERYBODY!🎉”
“lets drink.”
Absolutely loved playing as Atreus liked how the game went from you playing the story back and forth between Kratos and Atreus.
Side note: When Kratos Screams "Boy" gave me goosebumps cause I knew he wasn't f**'king around he was legit pissed off
Bro honestly 😂😂
What I loved the most of this game is playing with Atreus and also venturing around with Freya, Brok and Sindri by your side. Was really dope
Kratos: “I do not need a snack”
Me: dies laughing
Sindri's change into a potential anti-villain/antagonistic rival to Atreus after Brok's tragic fate caught me off guard cause I thought even after Brok's passing and reveal that without a soul he can't be resurrected Sindri would remain the same gentle pacifist he was in GoW: 2018 but I did not see his turn to darkness coming so seeing him due to grief and rage just verbally lash out at Kratos, Atreus, and Freya putting some blame on them for what happened to his brother, him killing Odin after Atreus imprisoned him in the Spirit Stone, and then him just angrily teleporting away after the funeral, and then Mimir giving a dire warning about Sindri's fate with him saying "People who have holes where their hearts used to be in the metaphorical sense run the risk of letting that hole get bigger and bigger until it consumes them and they become a monster themselves" that whole turn of events in Sindri's character arc caught me completely by surprise and in a good way.
Cause I'm now curious to see how Sindri in the role a grief-stricken angry anti-villain will turn out.
He’s probably gonna be in a dlc or spin off where he takes all his gifts back that he gave Atreus and then at the end his whole plan isn’t to kill him but to send him to another realm maybe Egyptian mythology with no weapons, next game set up
@@Janovea It’s possible that Atreus would end up in Egypt, and the Gods there has a bigger hold over the realms of Death. There may be a storyline where Atreus is trying to find a way to piece Brok’s soul back together while looking for the Jotun.
@@TheGary108 My idea for a new multi-game story-arc that lasts 2 to possibly 3 games in the series set in Egypt would see Kratos or more likely Atreus under his Giant Name of Loki teaming up with Bastet the mythical Egyptian Cat Goddess of the Sun, Moon, Fertility/Motherhood, Healing, and Protection to stop a massive threat to Egypt and the mortals who live in the realm while trying to find the Jotun.
There is a side-story quest where Atreus/Loki feeling guilty over what happened to Brok and his fate asks his Cat Goddess companion is there any family members of hers that can put a soul back together so Brok can either choose to go into the afterlife, or be resurrected and Bastet mentions there is two that could probably pull the task of putting a Ka back together off so Brok can finally rest in peace and go to the afterlife or be resurrected those being her nephews the Jackel God Anubis the God of the Dead, and Mummification, and Osiris the God who is the King of the Underworld and the many many demons who inhabit it but when Atreus/Loki suggests they go down to the Underworld and peacefully petition one of them to put Brok's soul back together so he can finally peacefully rest in the afterlife, or be resurrected but to be safe Bastet gives him the warning that just because she is their aunt does not mean either Anubis or Osiris will grant them their request of putting Brok's Ka back together no questions asked for free, and more then likely whichever of her two nephews they go to petition for said task IE either Anubis or Osiris and by a miracle the request is granted Anubis or Osiris is going to have the 2 of them pull off a quest as payment for asking of the task of putting a Ka back together.
@@derrickhaggard Brock's body is ash now, so maybe move on
@@Jahof20s True.
But still Bastet will make a good point in that just because she is Anubis and Osiris's aunt doesn't mean either one of them will agree to her and Atreus/Loki's peace petition/request to have Brok's soul or as Bastet and her fellow Egyptian deities call it Brok's Ka repaired so he can move on to the afterlife and get that peaceful rest and even if the nephew associated with death and the Underworld they go to peacefully ask for this request to be done agrees to it more then likely Anubis or Osiris will ask their humanoid feline aunt, and her new traveling companion from the "lands to the north of Egypt" to complete a task/quest as payment for repairing Brok's Ka.
Can we get an unanswered questions video for this game? I still feel that maybe the game hasn’t answered a lot of questions we had for both gow 2018 and ragnarok
I liked the boss vareity, but didn’t quite like how some of them were mechanically too easy by having easy to dodge attack or having too few attacks. It doesn’t really make sense either how a Valkyrie and even some draugurs are stronger than Thor and even the all father Odin himself.
yeah, so I finished the game and I just learned from you guys about this navigation assist XD
Same right here LMAO...
@@andreypokesaround it will now come in hand 100% the game :D
God of War Ragnarok knocked it outta the frickin universe. I can’t wait to replay it. Thank you developers, crew members and actors!!!
Nothing for Freya
I thought having her fight with you was very welcome
The one with the most changes has got to be Atreus
Absolutely Amazing.
We all were excited to kill Thor when Heimdall was it all along
My favorite change is how Thor was described in the last game as a bloodthirsty merciless serial killer but now he's just a pathetic fat dude with drinking problems and daddy issues.
Truly lived up to the hype.
So you basically don't understand how storytelling and characters work.
@@Hessianoct
No Mr storytelling expert sir. I don't.
@@fatos342it’s cuz there’s barely any jotunn left to slay, he let out that bloodthirsty rage when he was about to kill Atreus, even against Odin’s command in Niflheim. You probably played the story with your eyes closed
@@mariomorgan6083
And you definitely played it with your mouth open.
Bro is just babbling
i miss you Brok😢😢😢💁🏻♀️
Good video
Hi mojo plays big fan
GOW ragnarok is what the last of us 2 should have been.
Faxx
The kid is going to be bald too, he has a receding hairline already.
Quite baffled that there are some people whining about the story especially when it comes to taking risks, here is the thing this is a game that wraps up a story arc that was originally supposed to be 3 games this in itself is a huge risk especially since the first game was basically a build up, in the original you didnt explore most of the other realms, you dont meet many of the other characters so there were A LOT hanging on Ragnarok there are so many things that could go wrong and they executed it the best and most elegant way they could, sure there are some hiccups here and there but they fucking did the impossible with fleshing out the characters, giving us so many cool and unique bosses/enemies and showing us the 9 realms and ended the saga in the best way possible the franchise can go to so many places from there.
Same though, it’s easily one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had.
Lets be honest everyone got hyped when kratos said boy 1 last time
Every one should know this he had different armor at the start than god of war
Mojoplays, can you do something about these scammers? One of my own comments about seeing scammers in the comments attracted a scammer.
They also changed the color of poisonous smoke and pretend it is a new thing. :D There is as many changes as in every new FarCry or AC game.
You're comparing a good story game to shitty games
@@kk_cinevlogs All these games are shitty in the same way. But the story is better there is no doubt.
@@jiwik731 then what game is great in ur opinion
@@kk_cinevlogs This year is it Cult of the lamb, A plague tale, Sifu etc. Original and innovative concepts. Not just generic popularity contest made by marketing researchers for selling it to everybody but with lazy mechanics, tacky polish and just tweaked existing things without bigger progress or inovation. For example second "gameplay" part as Atreus. Is just press x simulator. Press x to mount a cow, press x to get fruit, press x to get down of the cow, press x to get another fruit, press x to mount the cow again, press x to get off the cow again, press x to get yet another fruit, press x to get a root, press x to mount a cow for the hundredth time... really a pinnacle of gameplay and mark of the good game and content... And a story related was there like 30 seconds of the whole hour. Or climbing a wall for ten minutes in his next part. What a gameplay. His parts are just a filler gameplay to justify the story. And the technical part... oh god. Yet another category to spend half a hour of writing what is wrong and tacky.
The addition of walking & talking simulator mechanics.
Does anyone think God of War Ragnarok will follow in the first game's footsteps and win GOTY at the Game Awards?
I don't know. It might have released too late in the year for that
Unlike the first game, it was beaten at the Game Awards. Elden Ring stole the title from it.
The whole “killing the family dog” in this case with Brok, is becoming an overused and tired trope. The latest Horizon game is also guilty of this but it’s also over used in all forms of media. In the case of Brok all it really did was change Sindri into another character to hate Atreus & Kratos but as this is the last game in these realms, the devs stated there won’t be a Part 3 in Norse lands it’s unlikely the trio will run into each other after they move on to a new land in the next game.
The only change I don't like is the 3rd dwarf
But she's played by the AT&T girl tho

I'm seeing a lot of scammers in the comments.

First
Biggest change had to be the quality of the writing. Big dip from the first game.
How so?
@Candykutta Admittedly, there were various points that I felt the game was dragging on too much. Still, I feel like I connected with the world & characters more in Ragnarok than in 2018. Of course my case is a little different because I got 2018 last year and played Ragnarok from launch. Maybe if I bought 2018 when it first came out, I would view it differently. Either way, they are both great games. I just prefer Ragnarok. Very difficult to top this duo!
Not finished yet because i have no reason to play this game again and it is also a story fault for sure. It is kinda boring and in some parts very, very stupid to be honest. Like Freya. She promised us so much at the end of the 2018 and what we got? One ridiculous avoiding fight on the sledge and one bigger fight aftrer which she forgot everything and we was basically friends. Or the tear milking in first hour wolf and bear... it was soo cheap. Let alone every Atreus part is a literal torture. First was OK, second was more Life is Strange than God of War where almost all gameplay was pressing X to get fruit, roots and go on and off the strange cow. After that we was skipping stones and watching fireflies... like seriously... what the f*ck. In third he ran away because "nobody listen to him and nobody believes him" - why dude? Maybe because you did not even bother to share information you little fu*king idiot. He disappeared for two days and there was literally no reason why not to tell where he was. Or at least try. He as a character is still not as stupid as Ellie in TLoU2 but... he is pretty close. And there was a pinnacle of the gameplay coming. Ten minutes of wall climbing. I dropped my controller and left the room. I have never felt more hopeless and desperate playing a AAA video game. My mood seriously drops every time i have to play as him. I literally begged Kratos to not go to sleep. But the gameplay is overall basically the same as 2018 - not a single revolution or meaningfull new mechanic is there. Maybe a pink magic arrows. They actually affects puzzles so it is not just about obstacle overcoming and unlocking chests etc. Technical side is also pretty bad (it works and looks good but it is cheaply assembled - but at least is it fun to play in some parts. As Kratos it is solid 8/10 but as Atreus 6/10 at best. I seriously think about finishing it by watching cutscenes on youtube because i am not sure if i can handle another Atreus part.

I really don’t understand how people feel this way lol it’s improved significantly from the 2018 one lol 😂
