"God of War Ragnarok" introduces a lot of new enemies, most of which are pretty tough. For this list, we’ll be looking at new enemies that gave us a hard time on our journey. However, mini bosses deserve a list all their own so you won't find them here. Our list includes Bergsra Mothers, Phantoms, Wyverns, Light Elf Slayers, and more! The phantoms became super easy once I got into the groove of things. Like ridiculously easy

Yeah same here. Just stay a bit way, hold up your shield and throw that axe all the time. The most hard thing about phantoms is finding the towers.
Especially with draupnir cuz you can just load the core up with spears
Same but there was dat one frost phantom which had 4 pillars but couldn't find the 4th one and took me minutes before finding it
Also they didn’t do much damage if you have decent armour

I think they only included regular enemies and mini-bosses and not regular bosses

Not a difficult enemy by themselves, but the Nokken made for some of the most infuriating sections of the game
The one in Vanahiem had me stuck for so long lol
I believe they’re all in Vanaheim right? But yeah I know the exact one you’re talking about I was stuck for a good 20 minutes looking for the nokken and trying to see if I could kill the others fast enough. I was sure the game must have glitched because this could not be correct but nope turns out you had to look up find a bush in the trees and burn it. In order to I’m not even sure, I guess take out an invisible nokken hidden in that tree
Phantoms are like the easiest „special“ enemy in the game. They only take a bit of time due to its mechanics. But just use the axe throw and dodge the attacks (their attack patterns are easy as hell).
No, just use the spear lol. It does a juicy amount of stun damage and when u see an opening, detonate the spear on its head or u can quickly throw the spear. Its the fastest weapon for range
The hateful are the one enemy that garnered the most attention from me. Every time I seen one of their nests I prepared for a boss fight. It took me a minute to figure out why they were sold difficult to deal with
For me it was the mobs with them that made them a pain. By themselves I was able to read their attack patterns pretty easily. I've always hated bosses that are only actually hard because the mobs that spawn with them lol
The red circle charge attack is fucky. It hits twice, so it basically forces a roll. And if you're up against a wall, you're screwed

Has to be the hateful, stalkers and light elves. They'll make you pull your hair out
No one really gonna talk about the travellers or the wulvers? Especially the bigger dark elves
As a black man, the wights are one of the hardest enemies
For me the hardest one was one of the Frozen berserkers, he was actually the first one I came across he was a pain in the ass he had the ax.. all the characters mentioned in the list were actually really easy but then again I did use the Stonewall shield, it seemed like the best shield to me. Also one of the hateful was really annoying it was also in Midgard in like in a little cave area it was one of the hardest hateful I fought, after that the rest were easy

Tbh the only hard enemy was GNA
none of em were hard, just requires skill and strategy

My Top 3 bosses that frustrated me the most:
1.Gna
2. Berserker king
3. The 3 berserker sisters
I played on no mercy and the berserker king was by far the hardest. Gna was ok in comparison
Gna was the thoughest one for me, no doubt about it. Finished the game on no mercy and just started again on gmgow, I dread the moment when I’ll have to face her on this difficulty 😅

Einherjar captains are definitely the hardest of the bunch not including bosses obviously
For me berserker king was hands down the hardest. Took my 4hrs!

Gna was waaaay harder than the berserker king to me. Hell berserker in vanaheim that creates poison allies all over the damn place was harder but loved the new varieties of enemies
That poison berserker pissed me off right when you had him low health he would call everyone out and proceed to one shot me

Number one hardest enemy is not even an enemy but a couple of those odins ravens that are circling around. Specifically the bastard one in Vanaheim (I believe) that you get to by boat near waterfalls. I spent a good 45 minutes trying to hit it before I had to give up and accept that I can’t hit this raven. I even looked up videos to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong, hell I could hear clinks like I was hitting the bird but just would not collect
king berserker was harder for me i beat gna before i did defeated the king
No one's gonna post the Dark Elf Lords? Those were the first set of enemies that drove me crazy lo😂

Was fun and awsome on ps5..now doing it on ps 4 version..but not as accurate on buttons as the ps5 version is..but still good.

Berserker king, berserker with his annoying cheating sisters, GNA, the hateful, and the final challenge sword where you fight numerous bosses.
It took me 60 tries to kill the Dreki
The Raider Chiefton and the berserkers are the toughest enemies I’ve faced
light elf warriors are worse than the slayers imo. more health and their yellow ring dash attack is so delayed I can never get the timing down
You said mini bosses deserve a list of their own but like 4 entries on here were mini bosses. Rather confused as to your criteria for determining what is and isn't considered a mini boss
Something most of us can agree is elves in general and mainly light elves can go to hell always fighting for my life against them

The berserker boss fights are annoying as hell even if you upgrade your weapons to level 8 or 9 or when the heath bar is green, those things still have a way to take you out, Tell me that I’m correct

Those aren't normal enemies, they're bosses.

They’re more annoying then the valkyrie boss fights, Even your weapons are in level 8 and their heath bar is green, they always have a way to finish you off, Their boss fights are so frustrating

This game is so easy, even on Give Me God of War. Only some of the berserkers and the queen valkyrie are difficult.
The thing that makes it “hard” is the camera (which I don’t mind) while fighting multiple enemies
@@andrewwilkins3014 I dunno, maybe it's just the playstyle I have or the games I'm used to, but the camera never bothered me. I find the camera in the old games to be more annoying, especially during the platforming parts.
GoW 2018 was easy too, but Ragnarok is easier. At least the first couple of hours of 2018 were challenging. Not so with this game.
