- The afterlife is even more challenging than the living one if Valhalla is anything to go by. In this video we’ll be looking at some of the greatest challenges Kratos faces in the Norse afterlife as he battles his way through his own personal therapy session. For this list we’ll be looking at tough encounters such as the Sand Arena, as well as returning Greek enemies like the Cyclops, the Minotaur, and the Sirens along with many more! Tyr when he makes the room dark is insane. Wish he could've fought along in the main game

This DLC took longer to beat than Modern Warfare 3.
Draupnir dispatches Wraiths and Sirens easily.
Tyr pissed me off. Man’s used all his weapons and teleported ode. He kept blitzing me till I lost and got my get back

No way you didn't mention centaurs those are way more difficult than minotaurs and cyclops
I personally find the centaurs really easy. The sirens are the worst for me.
The Minotaurs are far worse
centaurs are extremely annoying...all they do is run around and spam yellow and red ring attacks
This was THE DLC of the year
I gotta admit all of the bosses were pretty normal as far as this game goes, nothing really had me overly sweating (other than the king of course). But the first time I fought a Minotaur I got wrecked. And then every other time after that i struggled. It was totally the one new enemy that made me work for it every time. All of the new Greek enemy types were fantastic and really made Valhalla stand out compared to everything from the Norse saga
Some reason you couldn't dodge the charge move. It was like you guaranteed to get hit no matter what you do
Final tyr fight was tough imo.
Out of the 10 on the list, the berserker king is the only one i didn't beat, i wasn't looking to beat him, i just wanted the trophy for participating in a fight at the forum
You need to beat him. There's some veerrryyy nice rewards 😊

I can easily beat King Hrolf in valhalla, but he still kicks the crap out of me in story mode

Try Give me Mastery difficulty I died like 20 times before passing it. I heard it's so hard on that difficulty to play that even the developers couldn't pass it. And as a veteran of the series it really put up the challenge for sure.
I’m not that good at rogue likes. I can only beat it on the second highest difficulty and that’s after most of the permanent unlocks
Personally, i try to get the scorching slams and scorching burn weopons glyphs.
Melts all enemy pretty fast.
Leviathan axe has an nasty strength build that can 1-3 shot enemies.
The spear glyph where you get a different element every hit in super overpowered. You can inflict like 6 elements at one time
Relic recharge on hits and the stun relic made every fight extremely cheesable. Very fun DLC though!
Why didn't yall put the other 2 berserrkers on the list. They were harder than sirens and wraiths.

I struggled with the Dark Elf boss a lot. Dude would not stay still. But if course a pushover compared to the Beserker King
The only letdown was the forum. I was kinda expecting Zeus or Sigrun without wings since she was talking about a penalty from valhalla maybe even another gamer with the progress on line if you lose, otherwise great DLC
Tyr was so fustrating cuz we had to restart every time we died 😭

Valhalla is the best DLC ever. However I find the desert arena easier than the boat arena. I've failed the gold tier boat more times than the desert. With the right build the desert can be cleared before the timer even hits 200
Modi is the most annoying boss by far when you're doing the burden of entry. He keeps running away from you and shooting projectiles

Am I the only one that thinks Valhalla Kratos is stronger than ever now?
I’ve beaten the dlc and I’m able to play Ragnarok as young Kratos now, but I can’t use all the badass armors I unlocked in Valhalla. What gives?

So, is having Helios instead of Mimir a choice or is it mandatory?
Mandatory. He'll often switch when you reach the Greece sections of Valhalla although sometimes Mimir sticks around. Mimir also tells you a story about what he does when he's not with you.

I beat the DLC but never played as young Kratos. Can anyone fill me in on why?
When you are selecting his armor and appearance you can press R3 to toggle his new and old look
to be honest, I enjoy tyr fight more than thor fight and he more difficult than him i wish Thor being better
For me: all of the challenges youve mentioned except the beserker king ive beaten pretty easily. In my gameplay im only needing to kill the king to get the final three prizes from valhalla. Everything else ive unlocked.

Use draupnir range attacks on ormstrunga and it is dead before you know it
