Delaware & Lackawanna is a first class company in my humble opinion . I like Railroad companies that have working older classic locomotives like D&L. Thanks for sharing.

I've never really been a huge ALCO guy, but this was some really cool stuff. The opening scene really captured the essence of what those RS-3's are all about. I forgot how big of an event this NRHS convention really was until I realized that huge runs like this with very noteworthy equipment were taking place practically every day that week.
That's an amazing video, showing a nice set of 'indestructible' Alco's on the point. Is it my impression, or these engines have beeen re-engined with 251s? They sound like that. Over hetrere in my country, there used to be RSCs (2 & 3) that run with limiteds up untill the early 2000s. Now some of the units have survived, but working for track contractors, with one being seen today in the morning with a train of new rails. Ah, the line featured, ket us hope that NJT gets to Scranton real soon

Wow!,a Train! and what a crew it's Pulling!?,1:11

Low Budget HO Scale Modeling. Come to Watsonville Georgia there's a short line with the last rf&p engine known to exist in rf&p livery
dude, awesome video! That shot of '54 during the runby on her own was fantastic!

Triple-headed Alco RS-3s with a super-heated Mikado kicker: Hog Heaven! Thank you, for this superlative video.

Beautiful train show
HI. You're still the best at capturing these train videos.
Love them Alco's! Thanks for posting!
Certainly one of the better Steam Horns I've ever heard. Sound better that the UP Challenger, that one is just so muffled by comparison. Great Video,
Alcos ROCK!

YESSS! I love ALCOs and Steam!
Could I use this footage in my upcoming RUclips video on Alco?
At first I thought, oh they are just alcos smoking like that. Then I saw the steam engine.
Alco's ROCK!
