@@alexfarrell5533 Correction, the whistles are heavenly. I hadn’t actually watched past the B&O sections until recently, so now I’ve fallen in love with both of them.
Probably one of the best train chases to date. I'm glad we were able to be apart of this in such a cool way. Awesome video, can't wait til it comes back out.
I just saw 425 last week in Leesport connected to one of the SW8M's. They were sitting there in town, not sure what they were doing, but 425 had no tenders attached.
Excellent video it's good to see the Reading & Northern's steam engine running I always see diesel power whenever I go up to jim Thorpe which sucks excellent video.
I remember this day well, I can't believe how many successful runbys you crammed in there, either that or my party of fans was taking things way too cautiously lol. Forget 765, the stack talk here was beyond awesome, I forgot how cool the "Four & a Quarter" is. I'd respond with a video of my own, but I can't bare to watch my poorly narrated version of this day that I cut to Ozzy Osbourne lol... And yes, that ground-level Glen Onoko shot kicked ass, just as cool as the view from up on the peak.
@@RailfanDude610 Me too also. But I learn from one of the people on the locomotives excursion runs that it’s a Buffalo Creek and Gauley 3-chime whistle. It can either be both though which I like.
It's an authentic, original cast CNJ 3 Chime. The original ones were made of thinner metal, creating a higher pitched sound than the ones you normally hear.

That first Whistle is a B&O 3 Chime
The 2nd is a Lehigh & New England 3 Chime.
Personally I love the deep pitch on the L&NE 3.
Pretty soon, the future North Reading-Pittston occasional Railfan excursions are possible to happen!

great video and sound,,you must have worked hard to keep in front of it for thouse shots,,thanks.
Nevermind, apparently my video of 425 on the Rambler is now blocked worldwide, and I honestly couldn't be happier about it lol.
I would but I can't because I will be in Vermont.
What kind of whistle is that on 425?????
Evan's Megazord reviews It’s a Baltimore and Ohio 3 chime.
@@RailfanDude610 sweat and I'm pretty sure she also wore it around fourth of July weekend last year and I just love it
@@atsfevan0242 Me too. The B&O 3 chime is my most favorite whistle on 425!

when will it run
B&O 3 chimer?
Yep
What whistle is she wearing in this video? this is the first video I watched that had her wearing that whistle. Its not a B&M is it?
its definitely not a reading 6 chime... I know that.

Zephyr4501 it’s actually a B&O 3 chime.
@@RailfanDude610
yeah, i just did some sound testing, and you're right, my bad 😂
Zephyr4501 No big deal!🤗 I like identifying whistles on steam locomotives.
I appreciate and admire diesels for their power,,, but steam just thrills me like nothing else in the world of trains.
