Probably not, since this was for the NRHS convention which moves around every year. Sadly, B. C. O'Brien, the legendary D&H Road Foreman for who the 7312 is named after, passed away the day before I uploaded this video. It would be great if they ran a train like this again in his honor, but with CP barely clinging to life in Pennsylvania, I doubt they would ever agree to an excursion on their rails ever again.
3 years in the making! This collection of footage didn't need the hesitation, it definitely stood on it's own. Forget 425, I should have gone out for this instead! Whether it's revenue freight or just another excursion, there's nothing like the sight of the shield leading trains. The D&H ON the D&H, it doesn't get much better than that. That shot at Wapwallopen came out fantastic, sometimes the best ones are the ones that require the most stressful setup.
Absolutely Awesome video! Amazing scenes! The pacing of the 7304 was top notch! Wonder where those D&H GP38 2s are today?! They're both former Lehigh Valley. I like both railroads and paint schemes. But they're was always something extra special when a D&H train would roll into Allentown Bethlehem yards back in the early 80s! Before Guilford took over. Thank you for sharing!
I love the shot from 10:13 to 10:36. Beautiful! Durn shame you say it probably doesn't exist anymore -- I assume you mean the brush is too thick for a decent shot.
still trying to figure out where that first shot was. do you remember? sad, so much in this video is now gone or changed so much! amazing video though!!!
***** It was built as Boston and Maine 1127 in August 1953. But I disagree about the museum part, because it is a wonderful locomotive that does freight duty very well. The guys at Luzerne and Susquehanna do a great job taking care of 600 and their other equipment.
***** B&M 1127 lives?! Wow....what a surprise!! That loco was very well known up here in NH where it ran for the B&M, doing a lot of switching and local jobs around Concord. I know many a veteran railfan who rode in its cab back in the day. When its time with the L&S is done i'd love to see it make it back up here and possibly be repainted in its B&M heritage
I just Wish All you guys would converge on the old EL at Port Jervis..night time NYSW m.w.f. Mayor Kelly Decker and the city's counsel.. And town folk wouldn't mind in an instant TurnTable and all

AWESOME video .... Can imagine when those trains ran REGULAR passenger service back in the old days ... Loved the RS3's and the pace shot .... :)
That spot by the river was very nice. What a great looking area.
I think being a train engineer would be a wonderful job. Beautiful views from that train.
Great production on the Susquehanna Limited.
Great footage and the pace scene was great. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Bill, this was the first time I was involved in a chase along this route, so talk about shots and locations that were completely impromptu.
Finally, the good footage of the event. Impressive coverage
AWESOME power and rolling stock!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone should model that museum...
Some really neat clips and locations.
The Delaware & Hudson unit #7312 has a Transtronic Electronic locomotive bell :)
BBT609 looked like 04 did too
I saw it recently and it now has a steel bell.
Uploaded on the 3 year anniversary.
Beautiful Video

Will they ever do this again?
Nice!
That SW1 needs to be in a Museum. Sharp little loco! Any clue on the build year and original owner?

Central Penn Rail Productions well I am not saying now... put it in a museum when it's services are no longer required. Don't scrap it.
