Growing up near the ALCo plant is part of my interest in trains. These gems are good looking for their time. I would have seen the engines that were made from about 1960 on. Very cool - thanks! And - who doesn't like a caboose - that one is well restored!

Those are some treasures of the railroad you don't see that all the time it's great to see them still around after all these years awesome job happy Sunday!!!😎☀️☀️
my favorite road switcher!...Liked the vid very much..I notice at almost every crossing there was a rail-fan taking pics. The love for trains is strong!..Nice footage and i liked how you zoomed in on particular objects, even the cat :)....thanx for sharing!
Very nice. Thank you. I've always loved the look of the early ALCO RS units. Fantastic to see a few still running, and looking quite sharp as well! Nice rainstorm, too.
Hello and many thanks for this great sound of the two RS 3 diesel locomotives. An excellent video and a very nice train. Especially the caboose wants to make a great impression. Just beautiful.😍🎥👍👍👍🔊
2 ALCo 👍 up 👌🏼❗ Love RS-3! I had 3 of them HO scale model+ C630, GP9, F7 , SW1001, and SD40-2! And some European model locomotives also. Cheese System, Penn Central, Conrail , Rock Island & Santa Fe. Built in 1952 (in the description), that is 70 years old units !😲🤠👍🏽💪🏻 Very intriguing to see and hear them work looking as NEW!!!!! Very popular ALCo model at the time. Cool catch and chase 💛🖤🙋🏻♂️
Good to see these classics running! I thought the DL had deadline and put them up for sale them a few years back, as the crews did not like how uncomfortable the cabs were.
Yup, after Don Coangalo retired the DL stored the RS3s, including the ARHS owned CNJ 1554. Recently heard that 2 of the exD&H units were sold. Don’t know which ones, that was sad to hear. Those RS3s have been well maintained.
It always good to see the old 1960s Alco locomotives still running and being in service still. I know I have 5 replica ho scale models of the old 60s Alco and mlw locomotives on my vintage model train collection.
Beautifully restored locomotives B&O, when they were in front line service, were these used as switchers or for general motive power? They look very similar to a type of diesel locomotive that we had over here in England 🇬🇧 during the 1960s 👍🏻😁
🚶🚂👍 Good job 👏🤝 Wow nice view, I like to see new places ✌ Great movie 👍 Bravo 👋 And I have a new movie from a walk around the city 😊 Regards, DJ Janusz from Warsaw Poland ✌ 🇵🇱✋
