  • This is going to be the first video of a series of videos over my 2014 Volkwagen Jetta that is getting deleted with block off plates, swirl valve delete, and a hood stack! This video in particular is start to finish instructions on how to tune the car with FlashZilla, TuneZilla, and Malone tuning.
    Additional video links:
    Hood stack prep (EGR, EGR Cooler, ASV, and DPF Removal): • HOOD STACK preparation...
    Hood stack install (Praise dale and raise hell): • HOOD STACK INSTALL!! 2...

    Tune catalog: tunezilla.com/...
    FlashZilla guide: tunezilla.com/... (There is also a link in the guide to download the software onto your computer)
    After driving the car for a few days between recording and posting, I can say that the car does seem to have a little harder acceleration and seems to run better than before. Throttle response is pretty different and starting the car seems to be smoother. Overall I am very satisfied so far and have not had a check engine light for anything weird or have the tune do anything weird. If there are any questions just jump into the comment section!

    Dude that's awesome, you were a part of A&M Formula IC! I worked on a few things on it back in 2018. I'm sure a lot has changed now! Cool videos bro, keep up the hard work! Gig'Em! I was in MMET graduated 2019.

    Idk if you have or not but I’d recommend reinstalling that blanking plate with that pipe that led to the back of the engine removed. I did the same thing when I got mine and ended up blowing that pipe right on the flex. Hope yours is a lil tougher. It’s definitely not fun to get to but better than suddenly not making boost.

      It actually broke there too lol. I noticed it on the way home and had to take it out. It makes it a LOT easier when the cross over tube is in two pieces. Thanks for the comment, make sure to like and subscribe!

    The CEL was on because the vehicle was not running. It’s a test light. Also the fans kick on due to the vehicle losing com with the ecm. It’s a safety feature. Make sure you clear all communication codes after the flash. Most modules on high speed can will have them. And to save some battery power. If you pull the E brake up the DRL will go out. Good video and info regardless. It is much simpler for people not doing a tune and just the delete. Just giving info incase people are worried with what you did being to technical.

      @@NRCThings yeah until people are putting out bad information. I try to correct that. Some people will believe anything. Hopefully it helps someone. And hope you enjoy your tune. It woke my common rail up.

    Why did you go with the stage 1 over the stage 2 option? Cheers!

      Thanks for the comment! Make sure to give the channel a like and subscribe to help us grow! To answer your question, I did some talking to a Malone dealer and I didn’t want any extra wear on the engine / trans due to a Stage 2 because it’s just a work car and I drive 100 miles a day. So for a daily, the stage 1 was great!

      What differences does it make with stage one to stage two?

    • @IronnLung
      @IronnLung Год назад

      @@taylorfranzen3782 the difference is HP and torque. Stage 2 unlocks more HP and torque from the engine. I've been hearing that stage 2 actually gains better fuel economy too
