Regarding oil changes: Ask the question How long should your car last? Owners say 200-300k miles Mfrs say until warranty expires (some), or 100k miles. So if Manufacturer says 10k mile oil change but all the well versed car people say 5k miles or 6 months, do it more often. Even when you "drain the oil" you never drain all the oil, and there is nasty dirty oil near your valves and in small passageways. Nothing we can do about it, put in clean oil. The solution to pollution is dilution. What would it cost to buy more VW spec oil and filter and change it? It extends life of VVT (variable valve timing). Maybe pay for an extra oil change as a performance and longer life "mod".
I have a ‘15 VW Jetta as well. I lowered it, got new head light assembly, tail light assembly, added fog lights, new rims and tires. The only thing is the power. Do you think getting a tune on an automatic will work well? Also, after getting it tuned, can you take that car back to VW for maintenance or is that frowned upon?
You can get the ECU tune, but you can’t get the TCU tune unless it’s DSG. Just keep it on the down low when you take it on for service at VW and you’ll be fine.
I can make the same, if not even more power with a CTS Big turbo kit than any gli out there, for a fraction of the cost. I also want to be different and build the car my way.

Hey bro, I got a 2015 Jetta 1.8TSI automatic, im just not sure if the APR stage 1 tune will damage my car or not but after seeing your video I'm really considering it
VW recommends 10K oil changes to make money on repairs and new cars IMO. Even before my APR tune, I changed oil and filter every 3K (miles) and only pushed it to 5K once.
