- What even are presale or promotional codes you may ask? It's just a mix of letters of numbers that give you access to early access on tickets and potentially ticket discounts as well! Wondered how to use them on Ticketmaster though? Let's find out together!

First off, what is a presale code? It's pretty much a little 'secret' that isn't so hidden usually that gives ticket buyers the ability to buy tickets in advance of the general sale. They can offer you discounts, early access, unlock different seating options and more!
So where do you find them you may ask? Well, they aren't that hard to find usually, as the more people with access to them, the more tickets the venue and artist can sell. A lot of times codes are simply given out via fan newsletters and forums to help fans of the band get access to tickets when they come to town. Fan club seating generally are offered a better allocation of seats compared to the general sale as the artist would want to reward those fans who are committed to them!
Another way of getting presale codes is by being a specific credit card holder, such as with American Express or Citi. They will offer presale access and premium seating access to credit card holders for numerous tours and events throughout the year, so having access to these cards will give you options that just don't exist to everyone. Some of these cards do come with annual fees though so keep that in mind when trying to lock these down. If you are interested in becoming an American Express cardholder I have my referral link down below!
Lastly, you can always search across Google to find codes sometimes though it will be more hit and miss depending on whether it's a general or unique presale code. If a code is only available to season seat holders or fan club members, then you may need to pay for access to these codes, so just keep that in mind too. Not every presale is accessible to everyone as there are certain benefits locked away for those who are committing more money (not always, but more often than you may realize).
So how do you actually go ahead and use these codes on Ticketmaster? Just following along as there are a few different ways of doing so.
Generic Presale Codes:

Kpop fans: presale code are often given to (1) fanclub membership and (2) verified fans. Fanclub membership holders are the earliest ones to buy tickets, then the general verified fans, then the general public. However, Weverse notes that even with a membership and go through the membership presale registration, you may not get the presale code. When the demand exceed their limits, the presale code is given out randomly!
Absolutely this! Weverse tries to give codes to their fan club members first but it isn’t always possible when demand exceeds supply!
do you know if you can buy 3 tickets at one venue and 2 tickets at another venue with one fanclub code? It says there's a limit of 4 tickets, but i'm not sure if that is per code or per venue.
Generally speaking, it is per code for verified fan presales. In the FAQ’s for Seventeen, it states it is a 4 ticket per code limit. So if you buy 3 in one venue, you’d only be able to purchase a single seat in another venue

Sorry if this was asked already, but I would like to purchase 2 diff days of the same concert. I have a presale code, would I input it for both days on different tabs? Should I run them at the same time? Or do one first then the other?
You can have the different shows up on multiple tabs at the same time. Just use the same code to unlock seats for all the dates. Note that for Verified Fan presales, your code will only work if the queue allows you to join it. If it doesn’t let you in, then you won’t be able to purchase for that specific event. If it does let you queue though, then there are no issues and you can run both tabs at the same time

Hope you got your tickets, apologies for the late reply! For a single ticket it’s normally easier to pick it off the map itself I would say instead of the drop down side because single seats tend to stay available a little longer than pairs

Hello there! thanks for your time and the energy you put on your videos, they're great! I have a question. I have tickets for Stray kids concert in Atlanta, which was postponed, and today it's been rescheduled for march 22nd 2023, and additionally, there's a new date for march 23rd 2023. The ticketmaster page says that the general public sale will be placed on October 7th 2022 and then there's this "past purchaser presale" that will be placed on October 6th 2022. Do you know anything about that? I checked my ticketmaster account and I cant find any past purchaser presale code. Also tried to sing in for the verified fan presale code and couldnt find it :(. I would love to get good seats for the new date at a reasonable price (since I bought the others tickets from a reseller, SO EXPENSIVE). Sorry for the delay! It was my understanding that they were sending out emails to individuals who had purchased the original ticket date who requested refunds, not sure if they also sent emails to those people who also just purchased and kept their tickets for the postponed date. Hope you were able to get some tickets though! 🙏🏽
can you use one presale code for two tabs even if you only purchase the tickets on one of the tabs, but like would it increase my chances or would i get labelled as a bot?
If you try to open the same event on two tabs from the same browser, you ll run into errors on one or both tabs so I wouldn’t recommend. Could end up with nothing. Instead, use a second device with a different account and attempt to join the queue that way. Use the presale code on whatever account gets through the queue first

Very simply, it’s just a matter of opening two tabs, one tab for each show. You would need to queue within each one at the same time. Like it was mentioned, if it doesn’t let you queue then it means you wouldn’t be able to purchase tickets there either with your code. Otherwise, it’ll be the same code working for both show dates. Just make sure you stay within the total ticket limit allowed and you’ll be golden 😁

So let’s start from the beginning.
If you’re doing this on your phone:
Open up Ticketmaster on mobile browser (not the app) in safari/chrome. Go to the event you want to join the queue for. Join the waiting room.
Next step is you need to open another mobile browser page (without closing the first) and repeat all the same steps as above but go to the other event date you want to purchase tickets for. Then join that waiting room.
You’ll need to manage and watch both tabs, but this way you’ll be in both queues at the same time.
If you are doing this from your computer:
It’s basically the same steps as above, but to open a second web browser page you just need to open a second tab (or press ctrl+t). Each page should go into the queue for the event you want.
In all instances, you must be in the waiting room queue BEFORE the sale begins. If tickets go on sale at 10 AM, be sure to join the queue for all events at least 5-10 minutes before or else you’ll be sent to the back of the line.
Hey I really need your help with this one. So in my country there are 2 different presale days and I can only join the second one, does that mean I cannot buy VIP ones because the presale before me will buy all of it? Or will they include VIP in every sale? PLEASE HELP
It depends on the presale and event - many times they will release VIP seats with each presale. Additionally, many VIP tickets aren’t always tied to a presale code and can be purchased regardless. So unless you cannot get in the queue for the first presale, try to get VIP tickets that first day and see if a code is even needed. If no code required, buy buy buy! If a code is required, then they should ideally release more vip tickets for your presale

Live Nation presale codes change every month. The monthly LN code for august is DANCE. Give it a try and it should allow you access to buy tickets. Can also try COVERT if you’re using your mobile device to buy tickets
I've tried 2x to purchase the Stray Kids concert tickets for their 2022 tour in GA and NJ and of course the BOTS beat me. I was wondering how long before the concert date does it take for the Ticketmaster Platinum tickets to go back down in price AND are thir any codes that can be utilized to obtain better seats?
The Ticketmaster platinum seats will generally retain their high prices until the overall market demand for the tickets comes down. It may take until a few weeks or even a few days before the event takes place before they will reduce the prices down significantly. As for codes, there generally won’t be any for this tour since it did not even offer a presale opportunity. Just keep checking back for the events daily though to see if any price changes take place

1) it depends on the setup for the presale. If the code allows you to search for multiple shows in the same location then you will be able to open both tabs at the same time on the same browser with no issues.
2) if there is a seat limit, you cannot purchase more than the total across all shows in most situations as VF sales are locked to a ticket limit per code rather than per show. With that said, if it allows you to continue using your code, you can always attempt to purchase more but don’t be surprised if you get an error during checkout saying you’re over the limit once you pass the max.
3) if the limit is 4 for example and it allows you to join queues for multiple dates, you can simply purchase 2 for each date, 1 and 3, or 4 and 0 (assuming you’re looking at 2 dates). But you will not normally be able to exceed the maximum per code

Be sure to have multiple friends all trying at the same time as well to give yourself the best queue potential, and then look to just be ready to sit anywhere in the building as long as it meets your price point

It depends on the event. Some events do NOT have presales, and would release VIP tickets during a general sale. However, each event works differently so you need to check on the event page specifically to see what (if any) presales there may be. Check with the artist website as well as they may have additional information on VIP tickets
Where do you sign up for an artist's newsletter?
Most often it’ll be on their website, sometimes through their Twitter they may have an option to do so. Other times could be from their official fan club page or their own store website as well. Lots of potential different ways

It depends on the code. If the code is NOT tied to an account then yes you can give it to someone else with no problem. Generally the only time this is an issue is if the presale is a Ticketmaster Verified Fan presale. Those require the code and the account to match. For other types though, you can generally get away with just sharing the code with your friend

It depends on ticketmaster to open up resale for events. They don’t necessarily allow all events to be resold. Wait for the general sale to take place first and see if tickets become eligible for resale through them. If not, your only options will be mobile transfer or mobile screenshots (if eligible) on other resale sites

Not all. Depends on the artist venue and promoter. They will strike a deal with Amex to determine if they will get a presale or not. There are plenty that don’t make a partnership with Amex but numerous artists do. Really is a case by case basis

Presale codes are tied to the artist usually. What event are you looking to purchase? Some have email signups, while others have a paid membership you need to gain access

Hello! The WNBA schedule has not been officially announced for the 2022 season yet so you won’t be able to purchase any tickets yet. It’ll likely be confirmed in the coming month or two and then you’ll be able to purchase tickets then on Ticketmaster 😁

I think there are multiple capital one starting numbers - so your first 6 digits should work regardless. I think the code I had is for some older issued cards 😊

For Verified Fan presales, you’ll need to register for the presale once they are announced. The signup links are normally on the artist pages for a limited time (a few days) and you’ll need to sign up and pick your show date then. Sign up for artist newsletters and you’ll stay better informed about when they get announced

Can I resell pre-sale tickets on ticketmaster? I just got Kaskade tickets but the sell button is grayed out.
Depends on the event. Many times Ticketmaster will not activate resale for an event until the general sale takes place. It should be available after the general sale. If you’d like to try to sell the tickets before the general sale, try to list them on Stubhub or elsewhere 😁

Every now and then you’ll see resale active before the general sale but I find it’s more common with sporting events, rarely with concerts. Try to get them sold on another site before the general sale and you may actually see some higher resale prices...🎫

Are they mobile tickets? You should be able to list them as mobile transfer and then simply transfer them out once they are available. You won’t be stuck with tickets if you don’t get them sold before the general sale, but sales will slow down after the general sale takes place

It’s on general sale already so should be able to find a ton of options on Ticketmaster and resale marketplaces. Give it a couple more days and you should be able to find some really great seats either on resale or TM

Well if you want balcony seating, wait until a couple of days before and you should be able to snag the platinum charity seats at general sale pricing, otherwise I’d say check out Stubhub and tickpick. Don’t bother buying until 24-48hr before the event though, prices are only going to keep falling. Event isn’t sold out so things are looking good

For bts, the closer to the stage the better. You can also turn a profit on the cheap seats as well, but if you’re in the center floor section in front of the stage at standard pricing, you’ll be laughing to the bank
