This was really helpful and reassuring. It's good to know that the next time I try for Shawn Mendes presale - I won't be flagged as a bot. I am seeing Ben Platt next year and I got Reverie VIP meet & greet. I didn't have to do presale for that one since he's a hidden gem that not many know about. So I got one ticket for me, one for my BF and the total was ~$1160. I have the tickets secured in my Ticketmaster account... So when I do have the money to see Shawn Mendes on his next tour - Ticketmaster will know that I'm a real human because of my previous activity. I really, really would like to aim for gold VIP for Shawn Mendes on his next tour because: 1. I like the challenge of fighting for those tickets. 2. Wow thank you so much I now know what to do next time to hopfully get cheaper tickets, I'm seeing BTS but I did not get into pre-sale so it was pricy as a reseller ticket. I had a question are fan pre-sales forever or will one have to sign up for one each time? Also do you pay for them?
Generally presales are limited in nature (either a day or longer, but there is normally an end point). And yes you will usually need to sign up/apply each time depending on how they set it up. Once the event is announced, usually presale access is announced alongside it

big question.. does editing your intial entry, i.e. picking different show dates than the one you originally picked, affect your chances of getting selected?
Nope! They will simply take your final submission as the only one that matters. The only time I would say it affects your chances is if you’re changing your entry multiple times in quick succession. If you want to make an edit, take a few minutes and then do it

for the verified fan do u just need to buy the weverse membership
You needed to become a fan club member on Weverse and then also sign up for the verified fan presale for presale access. There were a few smaller steps between that to make sure it all linked correctly but yes that was a requirement for the fan club verified fan presale

I have a question please, I managed to get tickets for The Cure through the verified fan presale and I did receive a confirmation email, However, Nothing has appeared on my Tm account events page as of yet. Is this normal? When I look at my account there is no indication of the upcoming show and this makes me nervous lol.
Hi thank you so much. What if you want to try and get tickets to multiple shows for one artist on different days? Are you able to do this with the same account? Would my only way of doing this to be have someone else sign up for a different date? Kinda like how you said to have a family member to sign up but for a different date?
Ticketmaster has improved their queuing system to accommodate people in this situation looking to buy tickets to the same artist on multiple dates. You can now use your same account for all shows so long as you are using the same browser and device for all shows. I wouldn’t recommend doing this in general, but it should not view you as a bot or broker for attempting it. Best case is always to try and get another account on a different device for different show dates though (in my opinion). If you don’t have any other options though, you should be fine 😁

Not slower at all, and Ticketmaster has said that multiple people on the same network is fine and wouldn’t be considered bot activity. I prefer having each account on its own network, but it wouldn’t be a hindrance 😁
Hi.. I love your videos. And inspired by you i bought a event ticket on ticket master but by mistake i bought a event ticket for September 2022 instead of 2021, what options do i have to get rid of these tickets?

Hmm, that’s a bummer - you could either hold onto the ticket and attend the event in 2022, otherwise could sell it online either direct through Ticketmaster or any of the other resale platforms (Stubhub, SeatGeek, etc). May be able to donate them as well to various charities and get a donation receipt for it too! Any of those appeal to you?
@@thumbsuprun is there any reselling platform where these tickets can be sold and the payout the given quicker. I mean on stubhub it says the payment will be released after 7-8 days of event, which means it would be disbursed after September 2022 in my case
Most resale websites are all the same with payouts after the event right now 😢 your best bet would be to check on Facebook or fan forums of the artist to see if you can sell the tickets to another fan that way. If you do though, I’d recommend using PayPal or square or some other payment provider to ensure both you and the buyer are both protected
Hey, last year I tried to get Olivia Rodrigo tickets but I notice that I needed an USA/Canada telephone number so I couldn’t got in because I’m from Mexico. So… if I don’t have a USA/Canada number I can’t sign up for verified fan? Or is there another way to get in? Thank you!😢
can i only sign up when there is a tour available? because when taylor swift goes on tour i want to have close floor tickets. and in order to get those i think you have to be a verified fan but there’s no tour available right now. she also does this thing where if you listen to her music and buy merch it gives you a better chance. so how does that connect with ticketmaster ?
You cannot sign up for a Verified Fan presale in advance of a tour being announced as there is nothing to sign up for. Taylor Swift had built a program integrated with Ticketmaster where you earned points based on your history and activities, but you needed to log in to connect to your Ticketmaster account and then interact and purchase product when the Ticketmaster account was connected to it. That was a very specific use case. And even then, there was plenty of time given and an early announcement that all your activity would enable you to earn a better chance at getting tickets. Until such an announcement is made though, there is very little you can do. If you listen to an artist a lot on Spotify, you may be provided a Spotify presale code, but only if the artist/your provides a Spotify presale (many do not). Until an announcement is made, there isn’t much you can do unfortunately. If the artist has a paid fan club, you could look to join that, but it won’t increase your chances right now any more than just waiting

You can change your phone number to verify your queue spot, though I normally wouldn’t recommend it. You should be able to verify with your email address these days too though so if that option is there then pick that one. Otherwise, go ahead and verify with your own number
I have a question regarding the zip code, does it make any difference if my zip code is of a city of a different country than the one the concert is held in?

Yes! As long as it’s a separate registration, you will be eligible to apply for the new show and get verified again 😁

There’s too many people signing up right now so they placed a queue in front of the sign up process. It will be very busy for the next several hours so just be patient until you get through and can go through the signup process 😁

You’ll just need the first 6 digits of your card to unlock the presale and you’ll be able to purchase

Selling presale tickets is the same as any others! All you need to do is list them up on ticketmaster directly if you purchased through there (they won’t enable resale until after the general sale normally), or you can list them on StubHub as mobile transfer tickets. Correct - if the presale has already begun, you most likely missed the signup window for the verified fan
Although I signed up for the Paramore presale through a one year old account with activity, I guess the longer one has activity, the better the odds. So it’s probably going to take a bit, and thankfully I have credit cards that may help me get seats. Also registered to the Taylor Swift thing!

Normally yes. Sometimes they break it out into different legs but then would normally have separate registrations if so. What tour are you looking at in particular?

Are you looking to attend a show in North America or Europe? The UK and Europe shows will have their own registration and presales. If you want North America though, I’m unsure 😭 got any friends or family in North America who would be able to use their phone number for you?
I figured out my problem! My fault.I had one incorrect number in my listed phone number!!!!!!I was able to correct in profile and complete registration.Still wanted to know if requesting all shows he is playing is a good or bad idea.Your thoughts?
Would recommend not applying for every single date, try to keep it to as few as possible. With that said, it’s more just a ranking of shows so maybe apply for around 5-10 max since he has so many shows going on sale.

I have trying for a week to get verified fan pre- sale verification at Kia Forum in LA for Harry Styles in the fall.I have done verified pre-sale before (but did not get tkts) and have completed registration form but I cannot get a registration code sent to me to complete registration.I signed up for all dates thinking it would improve my chances but is that causing a problem?Please let me know.
You’re likely trying to apply for too many dates. Just pick a couple from each venue and then it should go through

Try to select 2-3 dates total for the run at the Forum and see if your submission goes through

For North America tours, generally speaking you are required to use a Canada or US phone number for Ticketmaster verified fan verification purposes. Unfortunately there isn’t a workaround to this 😭 try and see if you have any family or friends with a number you could use or have them sign up with their own accounts
The sad part is blackpink is coming in world tour this year and I’m new to ticket master is there a way to still get bigger chances to get tickets ? I barely just started working to even afford tickets so this will be my first concert I want to even go too so idk what chances I even got now
You can still do it! Just wait for them to announce how tickets will be applied for (presales, verified fan, etc) and then just be sure to get as many friends as possible all trying to get the seats as well. Give yourself the best odds possible!

If you don’t get verified, you will NOT be able to buy tickets unless there is an open general sale. It doesn’t appear there is a general sale so unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to participate in the sale 😫
I’m just looking through this again…very confusing. I’ve never seen an event with both the general sale AND verified sale at the same time. I have a feeling there won’t be a general sale…but curious to see. My initial guess would be you cannot buy general sale but no harm in trying otherwise?

Correct. Using the same phone number on multiple accounts is the equivalent of applying one time since the same phone number is tied to each account, linking them all together

I wouldn’t worry about it too much, sometimes people do the same thing with vpns as well so likely was just a large amount of traffic that came from the same vpn. Should be okay! 🤞🏽🤞🏽
