Back part of the pit is my fave spot too. You get to see the whole stage and the artist as well no matter where he goes. Also, sometimes the staff at the control booth are so kind that if they see you are small they will give you a box (those black hard ones they use for their equipment) and make you stand on it. Not at all times but I’ve experienced it twice. LOL.
i totally agree with not focusing on getting barricade! i was in pit for ariana grande and had so much fun moving around the back of pit as she moved around the stage so I always had a great view! also the way harry has designed his stage is genius because there’s no true “front” of the stage so everyone gets a good view at some point and everyone isn’t crowding in one spot, i’m going to the 9/8 show and can’t wait!!😭😭
i have to agree the back of the pit is the BEST place to be. The only desirable part of barricade is being able to see the artist RIGHT THERE. that's literally it. it's claustrophobic, it's sweaty, it's uncomfortable, people are always pulling your hair or elbowing you. there's seriously nothing enjoyable about barricade other than being close to the artist and 9 times out of 10 they don't even acknowledge you personally. besides being at the back IS NOT a bad view either. in most pits you can see the artist perfectly fine. you're still a lot closer to them than you realize. and if you have an iphone 13 pro you can easily get really good videos. there's more breathing room, you get to actually dance, you don't have to worry about being shoved around. it's so much more enjoyable at the back.

How do people at the first row(barricade spots) stay there for the entire duration of the concert? I always wonder about this, as you might move to have some food, etc, so you won’t return to the same spot that you were able to secure earlier right? Any advice for this(like you would typically be there a few hours before the concert and not move at all?). Planning to go for my first concert and extremely nervous about it!
I didn't move for the whole 3,5 hours in the venue. Worst thing was actually the back pain from standing so long, not being able to eat or pee was surprisingly not even a problem for me.😅

It depends on the type of music. Get to the place early so you can figure out an exit strategy if things got out of hand. Wear shoes that are comfortable and easy to walk in. Sometimes you can get a really good view from the sides. Personally I only get pit tickets to stuff like Anthrax or Rob Zombie and at larger venues. Metal heads will put themselves in danger to help you if you fall down. If it's rap or regular rock stay to reserved seats or lawn tickets.

Portable chargers are the best so you can keep yourself entertained with your phone without worrying about your battery dying! Snacks and water are also a good idea! If you don’t want to worry about sitting on the floor or standing for many hours, you can bring a lawn chair or blanket you don’t mind disposing of before entering the venue!
im seeing harry styles next year at accor stadium (a stadium basically the same size and capacity as wembley). i don't have early entry, but if i arrive at the venue at 8am, do you think i will have a chance of getting close to the front? ps. camping on the streets overnight is illegal where i live :)
you probably won’t have much luck getting barricade if there’s an early entry option but you will most likely be very close to barricade if you line up early. even if you get there and there’s already a long line, remember that stadiums are HUGE so odds are you will still be very close!
It’s so shit because today I have a concert but the artist chose a set where the pit is at the back of the back of the backitty back like deadass there are like rows and rows and rows of chairs 😐
What seats do you recommend for a 4'10 16 year old Im panicking I really want to go to the 5sos concert in Manchester or Glasgow please tell me lol it would be my first
I’ve never had any issue with seat geek but I believe some people have, so it’s completely up to you. I highly recommend Ticketmaster and StubHub. You should purchase from a site that protects your purchase and verifies the tickets are legit.
@@CarolynMorales thank you! I was searching for a professional ticket buyer to ask them this! I bought my tickets from Ticketmaster and they said they would email me the tickets so thank you!
i'm wondering at what time i should go to the venue if i wanna be at the back of the ga, like if i go one hour before the concert starts will i still be able to enter
Yes definitely. They don’t stop letting people in at a certain time. I’ve arrived late to a concert before and had no issue getting in. An hour would be perfect because at least it’ll leave time to buy merch and food/drinks.
It honestly really depends by city. Usually I see that New York and LA shows have the most people that camp out overnight (since they’re major cities). I would recommend checking the day before to see if there’s a line that has already began forming. If not, then I would personally head over to the venue very early on the day of the concert (around 5am). Hope this helps!
I’m going to see Harry Styles at Kia Forum in LA, and I have a GA, the thing is that the website says that they don’t let you be online until 9 AM of that day , and I never been to a concert , how early would you recommend me to go? I rlly wanna get barracte it’s my dream
If they don’t let you line up until 9am then it’s not worth getting there earlier because they’ll just kick you out. Get there right at 9AM to secure your chances of getting barricade.
hi!! 🥰 i have front standing tickets for one of taylor swift's vienna shows for 2024. how many days ahead would i need to start camping to get a good spot? (not necessarily baricade but close i guess) i live in a different country so i can't 'swing by' the venue unfortunately :(
hi! for camping it all depends on the venue and if it allows camping on their facility grounds. i recommend checking their website or asking other people who have been to that venue if they allow it, and if not camping in a place nearby or across the road might be fine! i also think maybe a day or even two before the concert as taylor swift is a large artist and A LOT of her other fans will be doing the same thing. hope this helped!!
my advice can be really risky but depending on the artist and how many fans they have you can get there when the seats are open and look for empty seats without security noticing or people arriving late and saying it’s their seat 😭 my friends did this at a twice concert
I’ve got vip tickets with early access to see Taylor Swift eras tour and I was wondering what time you’d get there to start queueing? I’m very sure many Swifties will also be trying to get front row, do you have any tips?
I would contact your venue to find out what time you’re allowed to start queuing. Also find out the exact location for the queue. It’ll save you so much time! Many stadiums have multiple entrances so it can get really confusing trying to find the correct queue.
@@CarolynMorales thank you, I’ll make sure to ring them and find out all the details. I spoke to my uncle, his boyfriend and my dad and they said they’re planning on getting there in the middle of the night/maybe earlier so it should get us a good chance to be at least close to her. They’ve been front row to most gigs they go to because they camp out so I feel like they know what theyre doing, I just have no clue with it been a first time for me. I usually get seated tickets
@@Rach_horlockyou don’t need to queue for Taylor.. all the seats on the floor are seated! I know because I went in April. You can arrive late and still be fine because it’s assigned seating
I’ve ended up with vip tickets too and am so worried about when to get there lol I was originally planning on not having vip tickets and getting there about 8am as I’ve heard that’s when they start queuing but I’m guessing I won’t need to be as early? but also aware like a lot of people will have the vip tickets with early access
I’m not 100% sure because I usually just go dressed for the concert. If you have some friends in line with you then you guys can take turns changing in a restroom or car haha
a lot of venues that allow camping out will give you wristbands so that you can go home and get changed and shower and still come back and have a guaranteed spot close to the stage. When i went to The 1975 we marked our hands with what number we were in line, and in the morning security came out and gave us wristbands to show we were the first in line so we could go home and get ready + get some food.

you probably won’t have much luck getting barricade if there’s an early entry option but you will most likely be very close to barricade if you line up early. even if you get there and there’s already a long line, remember that stadiums are HUGE so odds are you will still be very close!
is merch there after the concert if you just run straight to pit?
So helpful. Thank you!!!!!!!
will it helps if i purchase a fast lane ticket with just the general admission ticket ? It’s my first concert and have no idea
If there is no meet and greet or soundcheck prior to the show then the fast lane ticket should be pretty useful with getting in first!
It’s so shit because today I have a concert but the artist chose a set where the pit is at the back of the back of the backitty back like deadass there are like rows and rows and rows of chairs 😐
I don’t think people need to be aggressive I was at Louis Tomlinson’s show I camped for 3 days and bc of that I got number 4 and I was barricade
Was that at the the Kia forum stadium ?
I’m seeing Taylor at wembley this august and I’m wondering if I should camp or just go early in the morning. Does anyone have any tips?
Think it will be okay to arrive at guts tour at 5am for barricade
How early cuz people been saying 7am and Shit but the show don’t start till 7pm wtf 😭I ain’t staying there for 10 hours
I want to buy Olivia Rodrigo pit tickets but they say GA pit vip tickets does this still mean I get dibs cause the entire pit is vip
What’s the difference between GA PLATFORM VS GA FLOOR
I’m going to my first concert which is Olivia Rodrigo and I’m going alone so hopefully I can get a good spot in the pit 😭🙏
What seats do you recommend for a 4'10 16 year old Im panicking I really want to go to the 5sos concert in Manchester or Glasgow please tell me lol it would be my first
How do you entertain yourself while waiting for hours in line?
I always go with my sister so we just talk the entire time or go on our phones haha. You could also download a movie or listen to music!
Can you trust seat geek? What are good sites to buy tickets?
I’ve never had any issue with seat geek but I believe some people have, so it’s completely up to you. I highly recommend Ticketmaster and StubHub. You should purchase from a site that protects your purchase and verifies the tickets are legit.
@@CarolynMorales thank you! I was searching for a professional ticket buyer to ask them this! I bought my tickets from Ticketmaster and they said they would email me the tickets so thank you!
It worked when I went to a slipknot concert it's just I almost got stuck in the mosh pit😂
i'm wondering at what time i should go to the venue if i wanna be at the back of the ga, like if i go one hour before the concert starts will i still be able to enter
Yes definitely. They don’t stop letting people in at a certain time. I’ve arrived late to a concert before and had no issue getting in. An hour would be perfect because at least it’ll leave time to buy merch and food/drinks.
@@CarolynMoralesoh that's great thank youuu
I’m going to see Harry styles I’m not sure how early to go any advice :)
I'd like to know this too! I've seen him before but this is my first time with pit
@@MG-mo3bo me too I’m going on June 11th!
@@CarolynMorales thank you !!!!!!
I’m going in June and I’ve no clue
Do you have any advice about vip risers?
(not necessarily baricade but close i guess)
i live in a different country so i can't 'swing by' the venue unfortunately :(
hi! for camping it all depends on the venue and if it allows camping on their facility grounds. i recommend checking their website or asking other people who have been to that venue if they allow it, and if not camping in a place nearby or across the road might be fine! i also think maybe a day or even two before the concert as taylor swift is a large artist and A LOT of her other fans will be doing the same thing. hope this helped!!
What's your next concert
So if it’s like a Eslabon Armando should I get there by 5 or 6 cuz it starts 8 should I get there early or even 4
Hey anyone know if I should still queue superrr early for vip early access ?
Cool!! ❤️
Do you have a tip on how to get an upgrade? I got nosebleeds seats and i need to know how to upgrade :(
Go to the box office early in the morning when they first open and ask if they have any available seats to upgrade to!
my advice can be really risky but depending on the artist and how many fans they have you can get there when the seats are open and look for empty seats without security noticing or people arriving late and saying it’s their seat 😭 my friends did this at a twice concert
@@TheDarlingNikky there aren’t any seats for the standing section in the uk or atleast in liverpool x
I’m going to a Billie Eilish concert soon and researching
Omg i was at that harry concert!!!
Thank you 💛
I’m getting dropped off the night before to camp so I was wondering where you’re supposed to change for the concert lol!!
I LOVE YOUR NAME! It is my name too!😊
if i get a vip ticket (thats only fast lane) should i still get there early so i can get there before the OTHER vip people?
Yes! You probably won’t have to camp out or anything but I still recommend getting there a few hours early :)
Thx
20 concerts????heh...some fans do that on one leg of one tour.
From my experience (70 or so concerts): if you're a woman and Genz/Instagram chick you skip the queue and steal people's space.
Didn't watch. Easy answer. Get there early.
pack platform boots in ur bag! i’m 5’5 so i’m not that short but i swear i can never see anything lol 6ft guys always love getting in front of me
I’m from brazil and am going to miami in may for the Charlie Experience tour. I bought the vip ticket but I have NO IDEA how it works in another country, can someone help me?🥲
