Selling the Colorado house will be your biggest regret. You said you were your happiest in Colorado...both you and Shane said that. You also said youd be raising the boys there because you know its a better environment. This will be the biggest regret of your life if you're talking about the Colorado house. That alpaca toy was a sign to KEEP the Colorado house!!!

As far as their podcasts go, I can see why leaving California is harder. I know that Lizzie, jerid, and Chris are willing to travel to do podcast but they also have their new producer there in California. Plus Sandy and Shane's mom. I love the Colorado house too but as far as being able to make their content plus just enjoy seeing their friends, California makes more sense

I agree with almost everyone here....do NOT sell Colorado. You BOTH said Colorado made you extremely happy...the happiest you've ever been. Plus, you have all of that acreage that your boys will learn so much more just from that than all of the places you'd have to go to learn in Cali. Then let's talk about your animals!!! The dogs always look like they have way more fun in Colorado. They certainly get way more exercise all over your Colorado place..not just talking walks...but talking all of the places they have to explore around your Colorado house. They are always laying down and snoozing when not on a walk in California. The cats...way more entertainment with the deer roaming by the windows in Colorado!! You never show them having that kind of fun in California! Then there are your Alpacas. They grew up in Colorado and are used to the weather and environment. Plus they have ALL of that land in Colorado. Can you say the same about the area around your California house? The chances of a fire being anywhere close to your Colorado house is pretty small up there. You couldn't move into your California house right away because of a huge fire just down the block. Come on guys...your boys are plenty old enough to visit Colorado and to move to Colorado. The choice is very clear...Colorado. Plain and simple!!
Don't make any rash decisions until you take the boys for a bit at least to your Colorado home. They are part of your family and should be helping you decide.

I’ll be honest, I stopped watching when they left Colorado. I felt like Colorado was a different vibe and something new. I loved watching them at Christmas and Fall. I’ve missed watching them but I’ve watched them for years in California and enjoyed the different life they had in Colorado

@@Daveyjonesviit’s Shane’s family who live in LA, all of Ryland’s family are in CO, obviously it doesn’t really matter, because they’d be split from family either way, I wish they would stay in CO, because they’ve both said they’re so happy there. Jerid and sandy and Theresa have been there in the past for the holidays, even spending time with Rylands family in CO often. Obviously with the podcasts, they’ve flown Jerid and Chris and Lizzie out for filming, but I assume it would be really difficult now she’s pregnant and preparing for her own baby in LA. I can just see them so happy surrounded by family and the babies growing up in the different seasons, winter snow days, especially aunt Morgan’s house and land around her property, playing in the fields! Then being bombarded with love from Grandma Vicki🥹❤

I lived the first 6 years of my life with goats, chickens and land to run around in and then moved to your typical suburban neighborhood…. Some of my happiest memories were in my old house with animals. It was so fun and adventurous as a child! Please reconsider selling the house in Colorado 🥹 if I were a kid again, I would absolutely love to live in a place like your home in CO.

I’m giving this vlog 5/5 ⛽️!!! Shane’s energy was tops! And the playful banter with Ryland had me giggling so much! A local gas station in my town in Montana has a restaurant in it, and I love getting brunch there with my bestie! They even serve mimosas!
Please, PLEASE consider keeping the Colorado house 🙏 The boys will love it there! Imagine them playing in the snoooow 😭 Running with the dogs, and being so close to Rylands family!

Imagine being their kid in 10 years watching their Colorado house previously sold. Id be mad as a child wondering why I live in BEIGE LA and wondering why we no longer have grass to run on, mountains for camping, snow in the winter, and alpacas roaming around in the big area under trees ❤😢

LOL Have you seen their Calabasas house? They don't live in the city of LA, they are in a remote area of Los Angeles County, in the Santa Monica mountains not far from the beach, with hiking trails and plenty of room for the alpacas and the boys to run and play on their property, and surrounding areas 😊 If they want snow, Big Bear is only a 2 hour drive. Calabasas is gorgeous.

Maybe bring the boys to Colorado and stay for a few months to just see how it goes before selling it. That way you can get a feel what life would look like with the whole family there! Yes travel would be stressful but also a good learning experience. Honestly, I know those boys are going to be loved and spoiled either way. I’m sure it’s hard too since Shane’s family is in LA and Ryland’s are in Colorado. Everything happens for a reason ❤
If they don't want to travel, staying in CO seems to be the best solution!! And yes they should at least try it there for a bit
Bring Teresa, Vicki, Morgan, Chris, Lizzie, etc to help move the boys over to visit. Assign everyone a pet and a bag and the dads keep a baby and tough it out for the flight. And don’t fly back and forth all the time just stay for a long period.

I know it’s expensive but you both seem so much happier there, I can picture your future with all the animals and babies growing up through the seasons, winter snow days❄️, running around in the fields at aunt Morgan’s house in the snow and in summer☀️, the pretty colours of fall🍂, grandma Vicki baking and surrounding them with love, and great grandma Janice watching and seeing her great grandkids. 🥹 Theresa, Jerid and Sandy all flying in for visits at the holidays and everyone for the podcasts. Morgan’s annual Christmas cookie competition!
If it’s the expenses, maybe you could look at downgrading one of the houses or renting it out for when you’re not there (over looked by someone else with how busy you are).
You are really blessed to have such a big big wonderful family and amazing friends and coworkers who still spend time together, I have a big family and everyone just sort of disappeared after my dad died in 2020, and I very much miss our big family gatherings of both sides of the family. Life’s too short, take as much opportunity to spend the time you have with your loved ones in a place you love and are happy to be there. ❤❤

You need to give the Colorado house a fair chance with the boys before you give up on it.
Personally, I think you need to sell the LA house and maybe buy a super cute vacation place or something more manageable/affordable.
You need an entire year in Colorado so you & the boys get to experience the seasons together. How many times did you point out how fun this or that would be with the twins? Especially, the fall & winter!!!
The Colorado house is so much nicer tho, and it's so much more peaceful, I get that LA is more lucrative but the Colorado property is a better family home, has all your alpacas, you would risk transferring all them?
Plus they would be close to Ryland’s family.
@@sngray11 That's why I said LA is more lucrative, even though it is worse in almost every way, they live near Lizze, Chris, Spencer, jarred and sandy people they'd fly out weekly to film podcasts.
It's in a super neat area, too. You can't find lot sizes like that, anywhere near the front range anymore. They're building huge homes right on top of each other in these "master planned communities." They'd be hard pressed to find another home like that again.

They would also need to build a barn on their L.A. property so that the alpacas have proper shelter, access to water, etc. I don’t know if mountain lions and coyotes go after alpacas, but they would need a nighttime shelter just in case.

I am obsessed with this concept and I love the pumps and the full/empty gauge. Now you NEED to take a trip to South of the Border. It’s more of a rest stop at the border of north and South Carolina. They have weird animal statues all over the area, a fireworks shop, a few gift shops, a Mexican restaurant, a motel, and of course a gas station. They even have their own mascot, Pedro

Colorado is where you guys thrive since I’ve been watching you and you can see the happiness when you guys are there living your lives.
As someone who grew up in the exact city they are in in SoCal and now someone who lives in Denver, CO, it will not be an easy decision. I love SoCal and visit family frequently. I can’t lie it’s hard to beat it! BUT I continue to live in CO because it is smaller, a bit slower paced than LA, and I feel like I get to grow with city and not let it consume me. CO is much different than it was 10 years ago, so you can experience everything here than you can in LA (restaurants, events,etc.). But it’s hard not to love the SoCal warmth and vibe. Tough choices!

Buc-ees has the CLEANEST bathrooms I’ve EVER seen. Pretty much as soon as someone leaves a stall someone comes in & cleans it. It’s the only bathroom I’ll use when traveling!!
