Shazreea has a sultry voice, combined with the description evokes images of the Females in the story. That is what is good about books and also audiobooks. You, Mr Cybrarian also have great voices. Thanks.
Cybrarian, ive read or listen to all of the Conan stories, but your production has added a new flare and depth to them. Your Conan affect is excellent and how I imagine the Barbarian would speak. Thank you for your efforts.
Thog sure lays one on Conan. What an epic fight. Has to be one of Conan's hardest fights and fiercest foes. The music, the voicing of the characters and the sound effects. Just fantastic story telling and production.
yup, he'd be dead if it wasn't for the golden drink that keeps the people of the city from death and thog is presumed in other works to be a creature of the cthulhu mythos not many tangle with them n get out alive
There is another Conan novel in which Conan goes "beyond" and faces the god of the Dafari, Yog, I assume. He walks the hall of Crom, and sees the events of his life portrayed in tapestry, assuming he is traveling to Valhalla. Crom in his infinite wisdom, sends Conan back to the realm of the living. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the book. His son Conn is taken captive, leading him into the Dafari lands, and to face Thoth Amon one last time.
Thank you Cybrarian for an excellent production professionally presented and narrated. Special thanks to Shazreea. I especially like Conan's laugh in these productions. Mario SirSirReal Villarreal.
I was not expecting there to be several minutes of screaming and grunting while the two women were fighting and listened to this with my windows open, and now I can't look my neighbors in the eye... Just an FYI to anyone else planning to listen
Outstanding performance. I’d listened to another audio version of this story before and found it just so-so, but your version really brought the characters to life and put the story on another level. I especially enjoyed the absolutely savage struggle between Conan and Thogg. Your Conan really comes across as someone who could contend with and even kill a monstrous demon-god.
According to what I've been reading. Conan ends up in the Exile lands and thus the events of Conan Exiles between Xuthal of the Dusk and a Witch Shall be Born. So cool
Another great production! Sounds, music, ambience, narration...im listening these tales while reading them at the same time, and the immersion these narrations provide is such an enjoyable experience hard to find through other forms of storytelling.
I always wondered if Thogg was killed or not. Probably not. Kinda wished we'd seen more of Thalis, who by her description was probably Belit's evil twin sister.
Been playing Conan exiles for quite awhile now. Love the lore and love Conan. I wish these stories got more attention. And if a movie was ever to made in modern times. I hope they base it off the books. Not Hollywood crap like Jason Momoa
Is Conan a violent, kinda sexist guy? Yes. Is he also a really good person? YES! I'll die on that hill. There are so many small (and big) actions that show his loyalty and courtesy, even to people he barely knows
absolutely, we'd even argue that he isn't even sexist as he does not look down on women but instead dislikes civilisation and what it does to people, making women less than what they could be, which is why he loves characters like Belit in Queen of the Black Coast because they are more like the warrior women of barbaric Cimmeria
@TheCybrarian That is a very fair point! He is still a bit handsy without permission, and is likely to call a woman by her job title, though (wh*re). Otherwise I would fully agree xD
I think it's vitally important to realize that hypocrisy makes people who claim to be for a more inclusive soci9ety into hate filled bags of puss that are doing more harm to their stated goal than anything. No one ever said it couldn't or shouldn't be better. But you can't have hypocrites in charge of it. As they usually create the hate they seek to fight.
Bro it’s Robert E Howard story. There really is no need to pander to the Marxist inclusivity crowd. They are generally not the type of people who like Robert E Howard’s work.
Shazreea! She whose voice lent such long-lashed lust to Thalis' throat, I shall give you a hundred camels if you but tell me where her tent is pitched.

Yep. Its a shame too since Henry Cavill was such a huge fan (i thought he was great as Geralt). Our complete story, which much thanks to Shazreea for her performance.🕶
Another superb performance. No one does Conan better. Warm wishes and great thanks from the north woods of Wisconsin.
Takes me back to my youth when I first discovered the writing of Howard. You sir are a fantastic narrator!

This has rekindled my love of sword & sorcery. Incredible reading.
This was a trip🤙 Awesome adaptation
Outstanding audiobooks. They've helped me pass the monotonous days of painting I must do. Can't wait to dive into the Kull audiobooks.
Your conan voice is like no other. As usual, stellar work
Thank you! That was very entertaining! Well done! Your work is becoming richer and more nuanced. The addition of Shazreea was great!

Great stuff. Has been a joy plunging through the library of stories you've narrated thus far.
What a magnificent presentation of this fantastic story. Bravo.
Thanks for another wonderful reading!

Awesomesauce. If you don’t mind my asking, have you put any thoughts into doing Hour of the Dragon?
Yes, but hour of the dragon is novel length, so it'd be more than 8 hours long, so it'd be a big project to think about

Brilliant as always. Excellent work :)

would love to but we're having enough work getting these out.
we could make our own music for these too but just dont have the time

Great read
Your story telling is great by crom
Thank you
This is seriously fun!
That disclaimer was a little insulting of the story.
It implies that because there are more taboos today, we are somehow more advanced.
That disclaimer in the beginning is so unnecessary. I don't think anyone that sensitive would be listening to Conan or sword and sorcery at all.🤦♂️
Like a lot! A good set of photos of some disgusting creatures illustrating the visage of that lecherous Shadow.
Thanks
