I appreciate that you go out of your way to put a disclaimer before these stories begin. As much as I love the works of Robert E. Howard and Howard Philips Lovecraft, a large portion of their stories age like milk, even for stories as grim dark and gritty as Conan the Barbarian. While we should better ourselves as a society and encourage inclusivity and sensitivity, it's extremely unethical to censor older works just because they don't reflect the modern standards of the present. Erasing history is no better than glorifying it. And it's deeply appreciated that fan channels like this one go out of their way to warn readers who might either be unaware of the dark themes and plots of Conan or uncomfortable reading such stories for various reasons. That being said, I've slowly been getting into sword & sorcery stories as well as classic fiction and I'm proud to say this channel has been a wonderful aid in allowing me to learn more about a classic fictional character like Conan. I'm not sure what it is about classic fantasy but it just hits different than modern fantasy stories and you do an excellent job evoking that feeling. Its like I'm sitting next to an old timey radio listening to the weekly tales of Conan and I am here for it.

Just got my copy of Red Nails with the stuff I was missing from the original game. So excited to conquer my friends... err... I mean to play with them.

Holy shit!! An incredible story! Beyond words like the last one!! The part where Conan cut down those authoritarian dogs was satisfying! And the serpentine demon at the end... so much substance in such a short story. Truly phenomenal!

Was recently been given opportunity to revisit this anime I saw when I was like 10 years old - Berserk 1997 - and in retrospect a lot of it is kinda reminiscent of Black Colossus. Both Conan and Guts are mercenaries. And what starts out as a more . . . grounded . . . fantasy story of knights and warriors suddenly gets supernaturally cosmic horror at key points. And something something the leading lady is a target of lust for the humanoid abomination.

Good story one of Howard's best

I just love how Thoth Amon was going on a whole ass tangent about his life story and why the dude should listen to him and how he’ll aid him and shit. All while he’s like. ‘Oh this slave is speaking. Imma zone out for a few minutes. Huh a ring? Speaking of rings!’

As an American Indian Howard perfectly translate the mentality of a Savage in describing the look and thought of the Cimmerian. The simple two-three word replied and comments and the logic behind the barbarian is perfectly laid out to bare for civilized city people.
