I listened to this on eldritch archives and he did a really good job but I'm super stoked about this channel putting out a version I've listened to all your videos you do such an awesome job bringing these stories to life you're definitely one of my favorite audio book channels and in my opinion one of the best on RUclips thank you for taking the time to make these
Magnificent and pleasingly gory tale! It goes to show that the real evil dwells in the hearts of humans and not in some ancient jewel. I liked the funny moments too.
I can't help but notice that Kull, Conan and Cormac all look nearly identical. considering that reincarnation is a thing in this world and that Conan started out in an unpublished Kull story I have to wonder if we aren't literally seeing multiple lives of one person. also for future reference Mongols roll their rs more and teend to extend vowels a bit, think an accent somewhere between Japanese and Korean.
All three characters you mentioned are, in a good way, self inserts of Howard. Howard was proud of his Irish heritage and he was also tall, with black hair and blue eyes, though he was different from them in everything else. Howard was, like so many other writers of his time, influenced by the concept of the Übermensch, the Nietzschian idea of a man who's unbound from the norms of society and who defines himself and everything around him the way he desires to.
My money was on Jacob, as he was ordered to serve the wine. I think this is one of the best stories Howard has written. It is both an adventure story and a subtle murder mystery.
What's funny is that I am friends with people of nearly all the mentioned ethnicities / nationalities in this story. It just sounds like a bunch of guys I know in London.
We're back to bring you this yarn of a rogue crusader entering a den of killers. Enjoy.x

Haven't read much Fitzgeoffrey, only Hawks of the Outremer. Nice choice.
this is the only other REH Fitzgeoffrey, but we should be doing hawks this year too

Thank you very much. It's been too long since I've felt the savage wind in my hair.
You've gotta get content out more often! I always keep checking back for another good read, but I know you have to lose / miss people sometimes.
A story I never read! This is wonderful! 🍻🍻🍻
I hope yall can read the hour of dragon or jewels of gwahlur. Love the dramatic readings, keep it up!
we'll def get to jewels but hour would be a tall order (it's over 8 hours long)
An epic and well told tale of high adventure, Thank you Cybrarian :)
Great narration! Please keep doing REH stories, you do them justice.

@@hebanker3372 the idea of them being self inserts and being reincarnations of each other aren't mutually exclusive.

God in the Bowl is another murder mystery by Robert Howard...

well nowadays most large cities are very cosmopolitan, like a global community, but back then travel was hard and took either wealth or determination
Thanks for this. Made my work day.
Only came across this audio once before, thank you for the excellent performance!
we have many more to emjoy
Glad to see you back bro!
wow, thanks unbelievable, thank you so much, this means a lot to us, stay strong and keep an eye out for some gaming content we have later today
Sir, you are the only narrator I know who does Justice to Howard's work.
Another great RE Howard story brought brilliantly to life by the incredible Cybrarian!
This story is reminiscent of The Fire is Assurbanipal. Great work on the narration
we plan on doing that at some point
So glad you're still doing these.
Thanks!
Thanks!
