In our continual effort to improve our quality we are remastering our old stories. Last week we premiered a work in progress for the consideration of our viewers to provide feedback which we can apply and upload. Now we are posting a final improved version from viewer feedback. (this will be updated on our playlists and the previous versions removed with the next two months to give any of our viewers update any personal playlists they have) Our next remastering project is Conan - Gods of the North/The Frost Giants Daughter (arriving soon). And our new story for June shall be Conan - Queen of the Black Coast (with female vocal talent included). Apologies for any lateness of content as we have been receiving our vaccines and not been feeling very well, and additional vocal channels require more recording and editing time.
This is all very exciting! I was just thinking about Queen of the Black Coast! Looking forward to it already :D And good for you guys about getting your vaccines. Hope you're all well!
I used to read the Kull and Conan comic books when I was a kid. Also, I read a lot of the stories of corn in written by Robert E Howard. Howard always has a rambling Way about him at times. And the story in its efforts to be exciting take so many different twists and turns that while vivid and it’s imagery tend to be a bit tedious and unnecessary. He seems to need to push Kull as being a “real man“ as if making the statement that those of his kind and those whom he reflects in reality are superior to other men. That said, I really enjoy your dramatizations and readings of the novels and stories. The worlds of Conan and Kull are universe is that I ventured back to time and again for a little escapism at high adventure. I look forward to more of your enthralling dramatizations. Keep up the great work!
I loved reading this story over and over as soon as I discovered it in the book Kull: Exile of Atlantis. ⚔ The Justin Sweet painting of Kull battling the shark-man really stuck in my mind 🦈
So as an American, I love that Kull is (perhaps unintentionally) portrayed like a blue collar Joe from Louisiana (a state in the American south) on this channel. A lot of his inflections sound very similar to black working class folks from that area, which is thematically consistent with Kull being a champion from ordinary, grounded people who somehow ended up becoming an emperor. Also it creates a comical disconnect with the more antiquated accents that he interacts with. Bravo!
I'm getting very strong Basset vibes from that cat. Considering the other refs to Egyptian gods in Conan, I don't think her presence here would be out of the Question!
I just listened to this for the first time and it's also the first time I ever encountered the story. I was half asleep listening to this and it took me into completely other realms, these are more than just pulp fiction they are some sort of pathworkings...
We didn't really know this story either before we did it, someone requested it after we did a different Bran or Kull story, the crossover time-travel sounds cheesy in theory but in the writing it works really well
alas that was old studio setup, we've cleaned it a lot, but don't think when could clean it more without a complete rerecord (though we are going to rerecord some of our older tales), this was a production trail run for remastering (as it's the first we've remastered), getting to more soon

I am slowly but surely going through the entire playlist !
if you're still at Kull, you got a long but fun way to go.
Kudos to Shazreea for her performance!

To think of how young he was when he was writing these masterpieces.
Long live Kull! Another evocative reading. ⚔️
Simply Fantastic 👏🤓
Glorious

Yeah, it has a greaty Tarzan feel to it.

Thank you. Being from Atlantis, we wanted Kull to sound different from the European and Persian peoples he now interacts with.
You're insane
It's amazing telling. I love it man.
