Thanks. I just flashed my Lite-on with custom firmware using the CK3 Pro and their CK3 Probe III - the hardest part of this whole ordeal was putting the damn Xbox back together. Also, you have a silky-smooth voice fit for some funk music.

Man genius worked like a charm I took what you gave me applied the 8 penny trick let it overheat without using the fans it cooled hooked it back up and all green lights! Thanks a million!
One common mistake is that some Xbox 360 modders forget to place the screws back onto the mainboard standoffs, especially to the one closes to the power input.

@NewOrleans311 well there is a warrenty sticker so wat you use is a blow drier to peel it off but if ur completely taking apart the xbox as im just hotswapping then its much harder and complicated so good luck! :D
I don't really have xbox 360 but the number 360 sounds great, as of 360 degree angle. I have so much energy and interest in them, really replacing the old Wii with the game Fluidity, as I intentionally like the Component video, AV and the power cables. My Wii has Add Wii Points Disabled. That impact was terrible of course. 360 is unlikely discontinued.
Right, thanks for this, but would have been really really useful if you'd got things, like the eject button, in first time, so that those of us dumb enough to have been following you as we rebuilt, wouldn't have missed stuff. Also, that thing is not an RF modulator! An RF modulator is a Radio Frequency modulator that goes from a digital output to a TV aerial input. But thanks anyway.

true, but I do think you would be appalled at how dirty it can get inside of your console even if you do play peacefully with it. Even with normal Personal Computers, you need to take those apart and clean the dust out every 4 to 6 months. Dust can be such a bad thing for your electronics.
there r 2 methods that should work no.1 take off the faceplate and look for a tiny hole that is about 1-2mm wide near the disk tray opening and unravel a paper clip and keep pushing it in there while its turned on and jiggling it around until it opens no.2 your going to have to open it up yourself and pull the disk drive out and unscrew it to get to the disk out but b4 u go do that your going to need a t-8 and a t-10 torx driver -dont be scared of pulling it apart bro its already wrecked!!!
thanks bro so much i put it back together by myself at first and neither the main xbox button wouldn't click and the eject button wouldn't either so i watched ur vid on when to put on the eject button and i had the home button cover upside down

Do you have to put the heatsink screws (T8 black ones) back in place if you replaced the XClamps with new screws? Mine don't seem to want to go in, and I dont think it is necessary
The only thing was when he messed up with the eject button he should have edited to put it b4 you put the bottom on cuz that took me a while to change... Everything else is perfect though. Good job
when i play my xbox360 like anything actual game disc's, arcade games, you know stuff like that basically, should i have my xbox360 laying down....or just sitting upside???

I dissembled mine to clean it then reassembled it but now when I press the power button it doesn't work I can't press it or hear any clicking. I think when I put the face plate on the power button already presses the actual button how do I fix this?

First of all HOW? do you put in the HEATSINK screws if you changed the heatsink mounting screws?? It does not work! I tried your solution and it did not work! I found if you just clean up the CHIPs and put new Thermal Paste, use rubber washers under the X clamps, it works perfectly without a burn in!!
one question, help please, im stuck at 4:50 , can i remove the metal bellow the plastic cause it can't fit when the metal is attached to the plastic, and now that i removed it it fits, is it bad that i removed it? thanks

yes but when i put everything back 2 gether, the CD drive is stuck and it wont open unless I take my bottom cover off and play it like that It wont let me eject it with my controller, all it does is flash and do nothing!!!

@Ticomfreak the screws are very small torx screws i had to use the smallest bit for my screwdriver to fit them.

not good to use drill just keep in mind you should use them to take out screws but if you us them to put them in you good strip the plasics

Hey if you don't have those black screws that go close to the 2 x's , I think you called them heat syncers, will your xbox work?
What happens if the lights on the rf rodulator don't turn on? I can hear the system running but the lights won't come on.
