Yeah probably the cleanest mod I’ve seen so far on a console. I get people all the time in the comments complaining about the work on consoles like this, and saying they do better work. Then I try to reach out and buy from some of these people and they ghost me 🤷

That transparent fan and "old and basic" led bulbs in the 4 corners are period correct. There was no RGB "chip style" leds fans back then.
Yup! Honestly not a fan of all the new parts available now, everything is black and RGB, no style. I like cold cathodes, UV reactive parts, exposed copper, and clear panels!

And its hard to say tbh, if I had all the parts I need and didn't have to wait for paint to dry I can technically do this in a weekend lol this particular build was a falcon rrod fix, then I added the fan and paint job, the client it was for fell through, so I went back and added the water cooling system, then changed it to a jasper board, used it for awhile then put it up for sale👍

You should be able to draw on the UV paint with a laser pointer! It’ll stay longer and get crisper drawings!
I legit just cleaned my og 360 i got for my birthday back in 2006. It was long overdue but the disk drive finally comes out and reads disks man i miss those days.
I don't think the price is bad, but this thing should have been modded at least with rgh, cause if you wanna do it now it might be a nightmare to open up
A huge missed opportunity, wouldn’t have hurt it in any way, and the rgh3 method makes it so much easier that it’s almost not even a question. Boggles my mind why they didn’t do it.
Wouldn't have fit because of the water pump and pipes.
Or just get a slim 360, RGH it, change the thermal paste and set the temperatures in dashlaunch. Total cost if diy, including the console, about $40.
Those fans were used in those CoolerMaster(?) cases back in the day, they were simply repurposed to blow into an X360!

The only thing that is missing from this X360,is the fact that is not modded. everything else is just incredible.
A good radiator should be warmer than the air-cooled Xbox's back side where the exhaust is because they take the heat away from the processors faster. When radiators get hot you know they are working good. (Regardless of whether they are for water-cooling or air-cooling.) The fact that the radiator on the water-cooled Xbox was cooler in temperature than the Air-cooled Xbox's exhaust port, shows that this radiator design is worse than the regular air-cooled Xbox 360. If you do a 1-hour "heat test," you should see that the temperatures between the two Xboxes will be similar.
That makes sense but yeah my “test” with a cheap thermal camera and consoles running different games should not be taken as proving what is better than the other. I mostly do it because it’s interesting to just see the heat signatures

Oh and the loop goes the other direction, reservoir feeds the pump, pump pumps through the radiator then through the block and back to reservoir, it works in the upright position as well🤙
You can get UV non conductive coolant.. When I watercooled my first PC I did full UV Blue including the liquid
Halo waypoint isn't a game btw. More like an achievement tracker. It was probably the 1st thing halo did that annoyed me.
If its the same my cookie dealer. They're from New york and they sell 1/2lb cookies. The way its all labeled/marketed you think theyre 'special' cookies, but theyre just huge normal cookies. Would recommend.

The back fans are pulling and the top is pushing. Instead of the heat coming in the sides it's not being pushed out the sides making them hot.

So it's not overclocked in any way and now you have 3 big areas generating heat instead of one like on the regular console. What's the point?
For fun, made to be ridiculous, and that means the heat is being disapated more efficiently, side by side it stays 10-20 degrees cooler..
The graffiti on the disc drive is not bad I like it.
I did a mod on my 360 (not nearly to the extent of the one shown here). Two 120mm fans mounted in the back and one 120mm fan mounted on top. I also threw in some extra heat sinks to help keep it cool. Every 6 months I opened it up and cleaned it like new. Never got the ring of death on that one. I also used to fix (temporarily) my friends xbox's that got the red ring of death by using the heat gun technique and reapplying the thermal paste. One friend of mine got an extra year out of his before I had to redo it.

That has to be the craziest mod I have ever seen. The glowy paint was the icing in the cake xD
If you want the shell to glow green in the dark, then put it under an LED UV light and it will glow considerably well and even glow for a while longer when the UV light is turned off 👍
will tighting the tubes on the front of block "pull" the water block away from the fan?
This Watercooled Xbox 360 looks pretty cool as hell. The big fan on top looks like a DJ Turntable. It looks great, and the person who made this console, you're awesome!

The CPU temp is the biggest throttle I redid the thermal paste on mine and added an external fan, but she already overheated (still works OK, though).
All that money for it and he couldn't put like a plastic or rubber gasket or something to make all the cut outs on the shell look better also as a mechanic would say seal up any vacume leaks look on top case where water block is
It's called a water drop effect. You spray some water and let it evaporate then paint/clear over after the water has evaporated. Seen mostly on custom cars and motorcycles.

Suspect the fan came out of an Antec Skeleton which is prob the most bizarre PC case ever made and pretty awesome as it has that massive fan atop an open air case frame. My one which I regretted giving away I painted toxic green with red splatters and had a ton of UV and cold cathodes around it plus a pair of water cooling setups with one fluid dyed blood red with UV pigments and one dyed acid green also UV reactive and it truly was a work of art... My cats decided the fan was a cool place to go sleep and it caused a few issues including hair in the system, the green water system I had a very old Alphacool GPU cooling setup which used these very small fine pipes to feed the water blocks and just looked hench with the waters gurgling through. Only regret was I never got the finishing pieces which were Coolermaster "evil eye" reservoirs, 5.25 bay reservoirs with a magnifying orb set into the case and backlit with choice of LEDs to give it a really cool look. I did buy a Coolermaster V10 for the rig but that would not fit without cutting the Skeleton's legs, would have looked badass in there but the water circuits did a better job imho

That's the coolest thing I've ever seen. Literally!
Top tip, if you get yourself a UV laser pointer - it will give you a fine tip and you will be able to draw and WRITE on UV reactive paint PLUS it will last a lot longer as the light is much more intense than an LED torch. If you “draw” as slowly as you can with the pointer,, your messages will last even longer due to longer exposure to the laser
With your torch though, because it’s made of individual LEDs, experiment with just placing the torch lense flat on the painted surface, switch it on and hold it for a good few seconds and it will give you a dot filled circle effect 😎
I think this would look really cool with a UV lamp setup somewhere close by too

We used to turn them bad boys into skeletons to play split screen zombies when we only had 1 disc. Probably had more fun gaming on the 360 than any other console.

Awesome setup though - the coolant temperature sensor readout is cool as it gives you an idea of your temperature. Having this RGH'd would be ideal as it will give you the temps.

I just had an idea. You should put coolant for your car in the water tand instead. I would use 50/50. That way, it doesn't Gel up.
The job could be done better around the watertank. To much material has taken of the case and no nice lines, but very off center.
Seems like its a lot quieter than stock 360, even with the huge exposed fan. I had a 360 (Xenon board) from 2006 and it was almost as loud as an A/C unit. It rrod in less than a month.
It is for sure, stock fans aren't the quietest, and that top fan is only set to 5 volts so it is completely silent

What would be interesting is to see the fps vs a stock Xbox 360 vs an Xbox 360 slim . Also to see the the temps of the cpu/gpu not so much the exhaust because the radiator is going to always take the heat .
I did put this against a factory system it does stay 5-10 degrees cooler, but also with water cooling you will hit a cap for heat while the air cooled systems will continue to rise overtime, even after hours of playing this system (in my 68 degree living room) never went higher then 33 degrees Celsius which is a dramatic difference from a stock system🤙
And my slim while air cooled would hit 44-60 Celsius (depending on motherboard type) but while water-cooled would struggle to even hit 40c
need to refill it with electronic safe coolant so if it leaks it wont ruin your console

I have a modded Xbox360 Slim that I can't seem to get to work anymore. Can you check it out, find out what's wrong & do a video on how my mod is supposed to work? I have the mod to run the games off of a USB stick. This mod used to work by running software on my PC to create the menu for the games. The cool thing was if I turned the console on with the controller, it would go into mod mode & run the games from USB. If I turned the console on by ejecting the disc drive, it would boot normally & play games from the drive. The best thing about all of this was the mod was undetectable on Xbox Live. Now that the menu software no longer works, I forgot how to manually run the games without the menu. Help, please!
wonder if you could run “water wet” in the cooling system to dissipate some of the heat more. wouldn’t run antifreeze since it has ethylene glycol

Yes,I do.I have 3 vehicles,all water cooled.Except my Harley,they just dont see the benefits of a liquid cooled engine.
This would have been so sick back in 05-08 the only mod i ever did was having a black ghost shell with LEDs and same with the controller with a trigger mod then did the whole XK3Y mod then eventually started Jtagging

I Have the Lost and Damned Grand theft auto special edition Xbox 360 console i got back in the day when it came out there were only 190 or so made kept it in perfect condition and Always used an other xbox to preserve it was wondering if anyone knew what it could be worth?
