Definitely THE BEST disassemble/reassemble video anywhere. It includes exact model and every last detail from the first clip to the absolute last screw and part in the box, with nothing left out. Two separate disassemble and reassemble videos makes it completely idiot proof. Thanks a million my man, I couldn't find those damned clips to save my life... @FixYourOwnXbox . You made a great assembly video. Here was what issue we were having. The ''Sync Button'' on the Console was ''Hard'' whenever you'd try to use it. ***This was the problem. Ya know those 4 or 5 ''Long Black Screws'' that run through the console, well, the last time I took the console apart to reapply fresh Heatsink Paste, only 1 of the 5 screws were tight. Thus adding just enough flex on the ''Face'' on the console that the sync button couldn't make the proper contact, result, we couldn't sink any of the new controllers. Thanks for doing such a great job. After I started watching you, I could see where the problem was at...

ya me too the face plate cord has no litle white thing that attaches to the xbo 360 is possible that it will work with out it is there a manual button to turn on the xbox without the touch button
how did you put it back together without any scratches??? Me and my friend over here cutting ourselves, struggling to put it together 90 times before we get it right, crap falling everywhere... Did you use to work at Microsoft???

I only had a few minor issues, I had taken apart a port cover and a screw holder which was located beneath the DVD drive, had to disassemble a couple of things before I figured it out. Also you're missing a long screw which goes in 'F', and you swapped something around 9:30, other than that great video!
Okay so I need help. On the front of the xbox, the pieces next to the main glowing button have come out. Place where you can put more chords IN THE FRONT. How do I fix this?
I cant get the side panels to go back in no matter what I try and tried to boot it up with them on the console and can hear the hard drive spinning but nothing is coming up on my screen?
9.43 Wrong Information: The piece that slides in isn’t the one he is showing. Also the video is edited to avoid showing the mistake at 9.55. Be careful guys this mistake can brake your plastic clips and this parts are rare to find.

I watched your videos on how to take apart Xbox, dick drive and reassemble because my Xbox wouldn't read disks. My drive was bent , bent it back and now it reads disks, but now it keeps freezing.. It didn't do that before I took it apart. Any suggestions on that?
My 11 year old son got on my last nerve I broke his XBOX and banged it on the floor 3 times because I am not beating him anymore. AN XBOX punishment was the worst. This happened back in January. We just put it back together THANKS to YOU! The only reason is he made high honor roll twice and I wasnt buying a new one. Following your direction took us 20 minutes.Had to tape it up some but guess what it works and all his info was still on it.AMAZing! Downside we can only turn it on with a controller
My son pressed the open button and while tray was out he pulled it down. I've done these steps and now my xbox won't open. It turns on but will not open. You can hear that it tries. Help please!
There are multiple errors in this video where he jumps ahead and even fixes things with the camera stopped and than goes right back to filming like it was the altered way the entire time.
isn't it a bad idea to mess around with electronics (like the MB for instance) on a "carpet"? I understand its "turned off and unplugged" but you don't need electricity to create friction which can be pretty damaging in itself... anyway aside from that blatant disregard, nice vid

I think the scews act as a ground terminal in some spots at least the ps3 has that feature
