nope, but kind of protects the console from static electricity. I had mine open for about 1 month.

Do the mods still work once you have put the xbox back together

Hi, If you are referring to the GTA 4 or the COD WAW mod, yes. you install the mods via hotswapping so your games will still be modded :)

Vespa yes, other wise the hard drive won't fit and then you can't play
