S.A. She meant desert island, not dessert. And when you are vegan, you don’t eat, wear and support the industries who inflict pain on innocent sentient beings. We don’t eat dessert with dairy and eggs. It’s just cruel.
Sometimes people give a figure of speech to make their point come across, sometimes those points sound really stupid but other points they sound great, it just depends on the context.
I've been asked that by my cousin, and I asked him what the cow was surviving on. He said the cow had been washed up there (?!) and there was nothing else on the island. I said I'd swim to wherever the cow had come from. He said no, you can't do that. I told him I'd rather starve. In what universe is any of this even the slightest bit relevant to veganism?!

Wow, this guy’s turn around is so awesome to see. These conversations are so valuable. When he said “maybe it made more sense back in the day” it made me genuinely happy.
@tac0cat They're talking about how he questions his own social programming by the end of the conversation and even decides to cut down on his meat consumption. That's unambiguously a good thing.
It always seems like the ones who speak out the loudest against veganism are the ones who end up trying it out and opening up to it if you have a good conversation with them. It’s like they’re battling their own conscience. I loved the ending, how he seemed to open up a bit more. Way to go! Conversations are powerful
I agree, because I was the same, I was this guy (without the religions nonsense)... Because I knew really I was full of it, but was too proud to accept what I was doing was wrong.
Maximus totally. It’s a really hard thing to swallow and it takes time. It’s reinforced everywhere. I knew but I didn’t know. I wanted to believe that animals had “happy” lives with a “painless” ending. Once I saw footage of the realities, it was hard to live in that dream.
its good to try veganism, so you learn to shut up about talking that its healty and nutritional ;) veganism is a ego baed religion with no connection to nature. I love the ending of a vegan dieet... all skinny and.... psssh
@Josh Hough I disagree, but even if he was as you say, it doesn't matter because he stuck with it until he could get over his cognitive dissonance and respected everyone in front of him the whole time. :)

Obviously he is talking rubbish but its just ignorance, many people just do not realise the truth behind the industry, I didnt know that much until i became vegan. At least the guy shook their hands and ultimately was respectful, many people are not.
Gravybake Gill in the end he was respectful. He shook everyone's hands and ask their names. This guy comes across a bit aggressive at times but I don't think it was intentional to try and intimidate. He was agreeing with alot of their points but clearly he is ignorant of the animal industry and doesn't quite understand it yet. Either way I don't think comments like yours are helpful in any situation, certainly helpful to the cause of promoting veganism
Gravybake Gill if one is going to condemn then condemn the behaviour or action, not the person. This man may often be a decent compassionate person (or he may not, IDK) and his aggressive persona may have only been because he was taking Ed's arguments too personally or that cognitive dissonance was stressing him. Yes he was aggressive and intimidating but it was in the confines of the debate, he never attacked anyone personally (or if he did then I missed it) and he did accept what Ed said at the end and stated that nothing was personal.
It all comes down to ego, and you are most likely just as afflicted by it as he is. It is strange how we as humans do not recognize our inherent selfishness. Right now there are beings suffering and dying, and you could do something about it. You could, instead of wasting money on things you deem pleasurable, spend it to safe another beings life. But you are not, and the only reason is because you are selfish. You are not willing to sacrifice pleasure for the life of another being, and you make that decision every single minute of your life. We all do that, just to different degrees. The devil lives in all of us, because we are the devil. Only when we sacrifice ourselves completely will we see what it truly means to be good. Inaction causes just as much death and suffering in the world as action does. Just listen to you mind right now, how it will come up with all sorts of excuses. In the end, the money you spend to go to the cinema, or to buy yourself fancy clothes, could all have saved another beings life if you invested it that way. But you are not, and all it would cost you is comfort. To look at that and realize what it is that drives that decision is to know yourself. Once you realize how powerful the egoic mind is, you will be more humble and more understanding of all the evildoers in this world. Because you will realize that the potential of absolute evil is within you, and it is all fundamentally the inability to sacrifice for what you know is good. That is what the story of Jesus Christ was supposed to show us. He sacrificed his life for what he knew to be good. And now look at you, and realize that you are not even willing to give up a few minutes of your day to safe another being from suffering. You have to recognize that, only then will you understand the source of all evil. It is not Hitler, it is not meat eaters, it is fundamentally you yourself. The one who cannot sacrifice himself is the one who will cause the most suffering, and the peace in this world is dependent on how far we are willing to sacrifice ourselves for it. The greatest irony of it all is that once the egoic mind is let go you will enter the kingdom of heaven. You will be more blissful than you could have ever imagined possible. Because once you let go of yourself, there will be no reason to suffer, because there will be no one to suffer. The more selfish you are the greater is your capacity for suffering, and that is precisely why some people will prefer eating meat over vegetables. They are so selfish that they cannot bear the suffering, the discomfort, that will result from giving up their comfort. Of course, you are less selfish than they are, but you are not yet what you could be. You are still too selfish to sacrifice comfort for another being. You will suffer too greatly if you give up your fancy clothes and you good relationships that depend on them. There is only one way to find true peace in life, and that is to let go of yourself and surrender completely to reality. When you let go, you will be able to do anything, because nothing will make you suffer. You will stop being a slave to pleasure, fear and greed. Instead you will be able to do what you truly deem as worthy, and nothing will be able to keep you from doing it. Sadly you will most likely not even believe that you can reach such a state in life, when you can just look and see people who are living proof of it.
I am working my hardest to be able to debate people like Ed. It is so so so important to remain respectful and calm when talking to people like this. It's not about fighting because that's why veganism has such a bad wrap. All vegans should be looking up to Ed to spread their message. I know we are all enraged by how animals are treated but being calm when questioning people. Very well done. I love you so much for what you do. Keep pushing on you are making a bigger difference than you realize.
That's best for any debate. I cant convince someone their political views are wrong I have to show them. At times you have to treat it like your talking to a child because some people really dont know any better. Btw I just ate a delicious hamburger while watching this and I feel a little guilty.
Fativore Lifestyle ya I just don’t get it honestly - do be a vegan because it’s your choice and you think it’s best go for it - but to force it on others and call it a healthy diet choice is just nonsense. It’s a new religion, funny considering they keep making fun of christians
What's the more extreme way of getting milk for your morning coffee? Growing some plants and blending it up to make a milk, or, tying up and raping cows, taking away their babies, attaching pumps onto them.
Thank you Ed, I've learn so much on how to talk to others, especially family about being a vegan from watching your videos. I'm working on not letting my emotions take over. My goal is to represent veganisim the way you do calmly, logically, with facts and being able to figure out the best way to talk to each individual person.
I'm not a vegan, but I have to admit Ed is patient, collective, and provides well though out and articulated arguments.. Kudos to you bro.. I'm definitely on board with consuming less meat
I started consuming less meat, then stopped at the fish also, then I became a vegetarian, and today I'm 3 weeks into veganism, all this took me 3 years. Believe me, I loved the taste, for 27 years of my life, but I've never felt healthier. Dropped 35 pounds in these 3 years, started training, totally changed my life for good. Also I've learn to cook vegan meals. And my wife loves it. Cheers on consuming less animal meat, good for you :) Have a nice day.
Your videos are the best for learning how to have a respectful, productive conversation about veganism. I’m learning so much. Ask questions, and keep a calm, steady tone in your voice
exactly. it´s always like this. because they can´t find answers, because there are none. they show somehow how afraid they are about the behavior they have been so long into. But the hardest thing is to plant the vegan seed in family. outreach on AV is quite hard. But the more you do you better get in talking to stranger people. and watching videos like this and many more from Ed are motivating to do the same on demonstrations and Flyering on streets with friends. Have a good evening Smifskii.

And therin lies the problem. zengerz lol I'm not a vegan but you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Most of the main causes of death like heart disease come from eating meat so why does it kill us if our bodies are designed to eat it? Even if our bodies were adapted to consume meat better we still don't have to do it so just saying that we should eat meat because we can digest it isn't a valid argument because we have any food we want available to us so don't need to eat meat and cause an animal to suffer isrbeur argument so the whole premise of your own argument against them is flawed so you loose without even starting the argument I'm afraid!

Killing an innocent being unnecessarily is always wrong. You've just been conditioned by a fucked up society to agree that killing is normal. If killing pets is wrong, what's the difference with killing cow, pigs, chicken or sheep?
For sure. But, are you primitive? Just because we've been doing something for a long time, it doesn't make it morally justified to do it today. We've been killing babies as human sacrifices, raped and tortured each other for centuries, does it make it okay today? No, of course not. Today, in 2018, there is absolutely no need to kill an animal to be able to have a good meal and be healthy.

Saying animals don't get the choice of being killed for consumption.... But yeah plants can talk and are voluntarely killing themselves to be eaten by vegans... Give me a break dude.
@uh jeff That's incorrect. He always asks: "What's more important, your taste buds or the life of an animal?" He always specifically asks about animals, not about any sort of living entity in general. Vegans do not act like plants aren't living things. But they do realize that there is a scientifically proven difference between an animal -- who is sentient, can feel pain and suffering, and has a strong desire to live their life -- on one hand and a plant -- which isn't capable of any of these things -- on the other hand. Humans have to eat something to survive. We can either eat plants, which don't feel pain or suffering, or animals, who suffer greatly when we choose to kill them for our taste pleasure. Also, consider the obvious: The animals we eat are eating plants themselves (like soy and corn). So plants are going to be used for our food either way. And, for example, it takes roughly 10kg of plants to produce 1kg of beef. So by eating beef, you are effectively not only killing a cow, but also using much more plants than on a vegan diet. That's why eating animal products isn't only bad for the animals, it's also bad for the environment and thus, for humans as a whole.
I had a similar conversation with a vegan once. I didn’t change anything for a while but that seed that they had sewn grew until 3 years later I went vegetarian. I’m now transitioning to a vegan lifestyle. I think it’s really not so important to “win the argument“ against meat eaters- rather to remain respectful and give them something to think about. It has a greater impact than you realise.

Ma_Saby16 can I ask a question? What would you do if you people have converted everyone in the first world in to vegans?? What of the third world? Where people cannot grow food so they turn into livestock for food? Its not a question of whether ot not we can survive without eating meat, its a question for some people on whether or not they can grow food instead of having livestock that can eat plants humans cannot, and intern said humans can eat the livestock for their survival. That is thr exact reason i cannot take vegans seriously, you people are ignorant and over privileged
sure you can ask. I have family in Eritrea (east africa) which is a third world country and they eat a vegan diet out of necessity :) plants are the cheapest foods, for example chickpeas, tomatoes, lentils, grains etc. These are the cheapest food there, that's why they eat a plantbased diet in their daily lives. When I was younger and went there to visit, they bought and slaughtered a goat out of respect for us as visitors from germany, which they normally wouldn't do, because of the price. Why would you say that vegans in particular are privileged? We are ALL privileged in the first world countries, because we can choose what to eat on a daily basis by going to the supermarket. Vegans try to use the privilege to minimize harm and suffering as much as possible. Maybe you'll think about it.
Ma_Saby16 these are the types of conversations that really makes me believe in humans, i point out something and you correct me, I started on an agrresive tone, even threw a few offensive words out and yet you answered me still with respect and educated me, I wanted you to go agressive on me but no you pointed me on the right direction and I appreciate that. On your point in about them having vegan diets, I still fail to see it as sustainable that is 1 community out of thousands more, I've been in the mountains in the Philippines, in Sagada where they literally carved out mountains just to plant rice, and other plants and yet it is still not enough to feed them, sure governments help them but is it sustainable? Far from it, all I am saying is that untill we find a sustainable way to have everyone first and third world fed, veganism only shifts the governments attention from other bigger problems, I work for a media group and I have seen what people who lives in remote places do in order to survive, i visited islands in polynessia where agriculture is virtually none existent because even the fressh water in the island has salt, I've seen people eat bugs during the dry season because no plant can grow, nothing can change that fact, veganism is not something that is sustainable, at least not at the moment.
I love watching earthling Ed videos, he’s compassionate to other people and has a great sense of perspective, but when you look in the comments and people are just digging in to the people Ed talks to, it doesn’t sit right with me. If these people remember who they were talking to, come on RUclips and read these comments they’re just going to think “ah fuck these vegans”, essentially undoing the time Ed spends talking to them. We need to be more like Ed as a movement if we want people to take veganism as seriously as it is
Agreed Matthew. Ed's great because he remains empathetic, he doesn't forget that had also fallen for some of the same justifications for his own meat eating just a few years ago. It's not the individual's fault that they feel more drawn to eating meat than not, so much advertising and socialisation cutting off their feelings of guilt or responsibility. It's a pity that veganism gets more associated with the type of person that goes around thinking they're superior, enlightened and everyone else is just stupid 😣 does a lot of harm to the progress of veganism.
100 years from now, I think people will look back on this era in the same way that people now look back on the suffragette movement, or the abolitionist movement.
Ed, you have completely changed my heart and spirit with your honest message. God Bless you Sir!!! My life is better and so are the animals because of you’re love and passion for every living creatures.
It's extreme to care about animals when they don't do a single damned thing for fellow human living in the streets. When you show compassion for animals, you are therefore showing cruelty to humans.
The thing is these guys promoting veganism, talking about protecting pigs should be thrown in African villages and then asked to stay vegan And promote veganism there ! All these cults and moralities originate in the west , and veganism is the newest , it’s just because these guys don’t have anything more interesting happening in their life or probably don’t have anything else meaningful to do in their lives , it’s a fact that majority of these vegans are atheist, agnostic or believe that they are Adam and Eve living in the garden of Eden ! If you talk deeply they would say killing humans is better than cows ! They try to bring meaning to their lives by thinking they are superheroes protecting pigs , because they don’t know why they were born and where they belong , basically lost souls trying to find meaning by protecting domestic animals ! Why don’t the vegans join together with WWF to save some tigers, lions , rhinos and other species that are going extinct rather than raising voices for pigs and chickens that don’t add any value to the fauna !
@@navibot1886 You know, this is such a good point. I have nothing more to add there. Using vegan logic, we should stop other animals from killing other animals and force feed them grass! Then we stop all the animal killing! WooHoo!
Go fight and create awareness for world poverty in third world countries and to fight terrorism in the Middle East ! Just because you’re born in a country with all luxuries and social security that your country stole from colonising richer African and Asian countries doesn’t give you the liberty to condemn people and tell them what’s moral and immoral, everyone knows where their meat comes from and how it’s killed, no need to show VR movies and Netflix documentaries promoting a propaganda ! Go look at yourself and your past and correct yourself, the world will change itself when it needs to and has to ! There’s much more than cows, pigs and chickens to be concerned about out there in the world and we need no superheroes raising voices for them ! Can All vegans please move to Africa and grow grass there and promote veganism please ?! I would be soo happy and joyful to see human beings thriving and getting to eat two meals a day than chickens dying ! Vegans please go do social work, save lives , give food to the hungry and please don’t worry about where you can buy vegan Vitamin B12, Omega oils , Vitamin D, creatine and many other supplements from the best pharmaceutical companies to supplement your lacking diet !
Once again Ed I thank you for having these discussions with people it is so important to speak the truth and be apart of the change because forcing living beings into existence to have a property status by law, be tormented throughout their lives, exploited in every way imaginable and killed for profit and unnecessary consumption is wrong. It really is vile and sad that people think they are so superior to other animals that they justify their torture and slaughter instead of trying to learn ways to not be complicit in the brutal reality of what we do to animals. Humans need to humble themselves.
I like this guy's passion and how he's making his arguments but he's also being respectful. Before I ever considered going vegan my veggie sister at a family meal said to my dad something about the dead animal he was eating. I was so so so offended and so defensive and we got in a massive public argument cos I felt attacked, it was embarrassing. Was it a bit tactless to bring it up at my birthday dinner? Yes lol, but she was right and it played on my mind and I realised what a hypocrite I was being and changed my lifestyle but it took time
Hey Ed, these are great videos. I'm not vegan but I admire those that are. I've given up 90% of my meat consumption and 50% of my dairy in the past year. It's a bit of a work in progress as I'm still probably too selfish and lacking disipline. These videos definitely create clarity for guys like myself. Keep up the great work.
Great debate, obviously the meat eater had a hard time, I had a hard time watching this as a meat eater. I think he's in the same boat with me that we eat meat simply because it's much easier than a vegan diet. Looking to transition to more vegan meals soon.
It definitely gets easier with time. My first week being vegan, I kept accidentally eating things with animal products in them, simply because I was used to that. Now, it's like second nature. I know what I can and cannot eat.
Aurora Borealis I am glad to hear you were able to make such a positive change in your life overnight! I know with me, a transition period helped me make and keep the vegan lifestyle. Coming from a place where I knew almost 0 vegan recipes, it allowed me to perfect my vegan cooking, and forgive myself for slipping up when i would go to friend/family events and there were no vegan dishes: even the salads had dairy in them... Now a year later, I am glad to say I have come full circle and embrace the vegan lifestyle. Everything i cook is vegan, and I am starting to think ethically about my other purchases like clothing as well. Now when I go to a party at a friend's/family's place, I can whip up a quick batch of bean burgers or potatoes to bring with me. Now a year later, being vegan is who I am, and I am glad I chose to make this improvement upon myself, even if it did take me a little bit to adjust. 😁
I'm on the same boat as you mate. Have a colleague who is vegan, we started talking about her decisions and why she does it. I saw some truth in it, started doing some research myself and now I'm more aware and think about my choices when it comes to products from animal. I'm not a full vegan (yet), still researching and learning, only been at this topic for a few days. It's very obvious that we have all been lied to and manipulated. I'm very happy that there are some good informative videos out there!

Yes he was aggressive and intimidating but it was in the confines of the debate, he never attacked anyone personally (or if he did then I missed it) and he did accept what Ed said at the end and stated that nothing was personal.
Gravybake Gill get over yourself man jeez

That's why we all need to watch more of his videos - his, and Joey Carbstrong's. That way, we can learn how to answer our family's and friends' questions with the same patience & finesse. 😉💜☺️
It sounds like every meat eater regularly gets lost on desert islands lmao...
That's quite the assumption. Most of smartest people in history ate meat.
how smart were they if we are still in the shit lol
+Melanie A Fuego, Einstein being a vegetarian doesn't deny the statement that most intelligent people in history ate meat.
It’s all that brain fog.
+Bruce S I assume that's irony because I am sure the opposite is true. . .Usually the majority are wrong about everything and slowly catch up. However, majority and minorities have no influence at all on right and wrong.
It never fails, when a person knows he is wrong he becomes arrogant. Most people don't seem to realize that vegans used to eat meat, the question is why they changed.
Ed, you communicate in such a way that people simply get it! Your activism is saving the lives of so many innocent animals! Thanks for your great work. 👍
So glad that guy was willing to change his mind and wasn't in the slightest seemed damaged by his ego. Kudos to him!
ED! I've spent the past week binge watching your videos. You're a magical being.

Binge watching with steak
Madelyn Seidel I don't understand. Binge watching with steak. What does this mean? Like a joke or like actually eating a steak and binge watching this. If not a joke what purpose does this comment serve? Is it self serving and at the intended expense of another? If so maybe you might consider repeatedly listening to the basic premise of the message. Keep watching and feel free to enjoy whatever animal part makes you feel most comfortable because obviously your comfort is of the upmost importance. But maybe after some more watching your subconscious might grasp some more of the intended message. This message is infecting everyone so it doesn't matter how long one holds out. It is coming for all of us
Ed, you have taught me so much, I have now been vegan 3 months and I am loving my new way of life. You are such an inspirational human being and if it wasn’t for you I would still be sad and depressed. So I just wanted to say thank you so much for being who you are!
Edit: I’ve just hit 1 year of being vegan and I can confidently say that it has been the best year of my life, I’ve learnt so much, I’m much healthier and I’ve inspired my friends and family to change their mindset on the matter, anyone considering veganism go for it! 🌱🌱
Gravybake Gill ha ha 😂😂
thank you for turning vegan Chloe.
Congrats Chloe! I've been vegan for a year. You can always learn something new about activism, new foods to try and make. There are a host of great activism and vegan cooking channels on RUclips. Good job on being on the right side of history!
Chloe Young I have been vegan since Jan 1... was a vegetarian for 20 years, but I was still buying butter and cheese. Almond milk for life!
Chloe Young: I am vegan since 2004 and every time I read a message like yours I find it great! I became vegan when I was 38; you, much earlier in life, it is so beautiful to see young human beings like you, so open minded and willing to face the reality of the biggest atrocities in the world history and to change for a more compassionate life. You are great, and I am sure that you will inspire other people. I wish you all the best!
A great guy who had his eyes opened on this issue. He stood his ground but was internally open to other people's ideas and thats why he managed to understand what they are saying. Good job Ed for delivering your arguments so calmly and elegantly

We don't eat grass...
zengerz lol I'm not a vegan but you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Most of the main causes of death like heart disease come from eating meat so why does it kill us if our bodies are designed to eat it? Even if our bodies were adapted to consume meat better we still don't have to do it so just saying that we should eat meat because we can digest it isn't a valid argument because we have any food we want available to us so don't need to eat meat and cause an animal to suffer isrbeur argument so the whole premise of your own argument against them is flawed so you loose without even starting the argument I'm afraid!
legit, I think I got a bicep pump from how tough you talk. You must be woke as fuck. Also, it’s not very beta to deviate from the norm - it’s actually rather beta to adhere to convention. But let me guess, you know what alpha is because you’ve been into body building for a few years, and maybe you dabbled with sports when you were younger - but you’ve never been talented enough to excel at either. So now you put topless photos of yourself as you dp on your RUclips account - that you use to call people you don’t agree with pussies? Fuck man, you real sad. If you engaged in a legit conversation instead of getting ‘triggered’ like a ‘snowflake’ maybe you’d have some friends, and you wouldn’t only feel good about yourself when punching a keyboard.
At the beginnin, it seemed as if he wouldn’t change his ways at all, but at the end, he seemed more compassionate and that he may have been ready for challenge 22, hope he took it and went vegan
I love the ending. This is how it all starts. Defensive, denial, understanding, and then finally accepting of the truth. I used to despise vegans, and now I am a proud vegan and have gain the interest of family and friends. It went from one vegan (me), then my son and husband, and now 4 others want to learn it all

People need to lay off the guy. He could of just walked passed of pretended to agree and then forgot about this. If you have a debate with someone for over 10 minutes and do not win, you'll remember that situation for years to come. Some people have to debate/resist because they working it out in their mind. It's playing devils advocate with themselves. Will he stop eating meat, I don't know, but at least now he feel guilt and wrestle with the idea......and all because he saw a VR headset on a table.
Totally agree Fruit Farm Factory - it's not about winning and losing, it's about getting an idea out there and talking about it. I'm glad he cared enough to talk x
He was stubborn, but so were most of us before going vegan. He spoke truthfully and in the end, went home with a strong seed planted in his mind. It was awesome.
Killing an innocent being unnecessarily is always wrong. You've just been conditioned by a fucked up society to agree that killing is normal.
If killing pets is wrong, what's the difference with killing cow, pigs, chicken or sheep?
manuveggie not true , primite people have kill innocent animals even if they don't live in society.
"2.7 trillion humans are dying because of sugar every year?" Uffff

How refreshing to see men communicating with respect. No swearing, fighting and fear of someone's opinion.
so he's basically saying "I'm not supporting the industry because i'm choosing to be ignorant about how my food is derived"
Which makes completely zero sense.
Saying animals don't get the choice of being killed for consumption.... But yeah plants can talk and are voluntarely killing themselves to be eaten by vegans... Give me a break dude.
@uh jeff
That's incorrect.
@Marius Olsen u should feel sick of yourself-how dare you try and force meat into someone's mouth. Fucking dog

Olivia Webster So how is it going, just a word of advice, humans are omnivores, my brother was a vegan for 12 years, until his doctor told him if you want to live till sixty, you have to eat meat, shit fucked up his health, and dont start telling me he did it wrong, he researched that shit do the core, but it just wore down his body, the first thing that went bad was his eye sight, everything in life isn't morally right, I'm not preaching you should not be vegan, have a nice day.

A-levels are the UK's equivalent to the junior and senior year of high school. So he basically said that he studied business at a high school level.
Blue Juneau im taking business in school right now, THAT SHIT IS A JOKE
This doesn't really have to do with his understanding of supply and demand but rather his mind attempting to handle cognitive dissonance between his self-image and his actions.
His reaction is perfectly normal in its irrationality.
The fact that he actually finally corrects his position makes him strong and admirable.

Omg so true, that's what I thought
Absolutely if he turns his way of thinking to animal rights he'd be such an incredibly passionate advocate.
This dude was awesome honestly. Almost all of us didn't start out as vegan, so we should respect anyone who tries to respectfully engage with us.

Ed, you have completely changed my heart and spirit with your honest message. God Bless you Sir!!! My life is better and so are the animals because of you’re love and passion for every living creatures.
I didn't know it was extreme to not want animals to be killed? Is it extreme to care about other beings?
Melissa Curran if you care about living beings what about plants?
I’m glad you are vegan btw
WooHoo!

Another Passionate Vegan makes a world of difference!
I love how people always stutter when Ed asks “what’s a humane way of killing an animal”
1 nice bullet between the eyes..boom... mmmm steak
Humaine means with less pain or stress to the animal as possible. Why dont you protest Papua new Guinea and its cannibals!!??
@Rickie j what's that got to do with eating a steak? Nice try though. Moving on
@Rickie j There technically isn't one. That's why there are people protesting abortions which is a different subject altogether.
@Rickie j what? If you dont think we should kill fetuses than you should have the same morals to animals. Don't be a hypocrite
Great debate, obviously the meat eater had a hard time, I had a hard time watching this as a meat eater. I think he's in the same boat with me that we eat meat simply because it's much easier than a vegan diet. Looking to transition to more vegan meals soon.
One meal at a time! It gets easier the longer you do it. Been plant based for about a year now.
Feel free to reach out to me, John Darnell on Facebook, I'm only 5 months in and I cant believe I ever ate meat! SO MANY OPTIONS!!! :)
I'm very happy that there are some good informative videos out there!
its a buisness yeah...... so was slavery
So is the prison system and the death penalty business.
Only stupid people would compare human being with animals
@@Norhairiana wow what a compelling argument ive never heard one like it,
please tell me keeper of knowledge and intuition, i hope one day to be as smart as someone who doesn't comprehend what an animal is, and i do think its stupid to compare someone such as your self to an animal, i mean what a leap right, id compare someone like you more to a potato, im surprised you figured out how the tappy board in front of you works
@@Norhairiana we are all beings. We feel pain, we shit, we fuck and die like them shit we share most of our DNA with all animals and specifically chimps yet you say only an idiot wo....
Ishmael barrera shut up you ugly ass emo. So what if i eat meat? That makes you sad? Boohoo let me play you a sad song
I'm so glad that it clicked in the end. And he was respectful and that says a lot.
