$5,493.53 Canadian (My Mortgage is $670 a month) For a Eastman D'Ambrosio DC '62 Phoenix Pine Ocean Turquoise w/Lollar Special '64 Pickups. I like Eastman, I really enjoy my T486, but $5,500 oh hell no!!
Eastman's make great, great guitars. I've owned 9 of them over the years. But they have HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE resale value. I imagine it's because they are made in China. While these are apparently USA made, they still carry the Eastman brand name. Price wise, I would rather these had been made in China also, to make more cost worthy. If you bought one new around 3,800...you would be lucky to get 2,000 back. Nonetheless, they are beautiful.
Increased neck pocket contat technically increases damping, but increased rigidity is always good. Set necks actually absorb highs quicker than bolt-ons. Parker came up with a radial bolr-on in the 90s. Either design would be better if there were only three small contact points, but the wood might compress too much. The one-bolt Taylor neck joint is close to that.

Theyre only making a certain amount. These are their equivalent to custom shop guitars by Fender or Gibson
Westman then?
That bolt on design they ‘came up with’ was used on 70’s aluminium necked Kramers!
I was interested in the DC74, then I went to their webpage to see the price............
Is the guitar at 4:49 shoreline gold finish? Hard to tell in the lighting.
$3899 USD 😬
$3899 🤣🤣

That makes so much sense. Explains why I love Es 335’s and SG’s and double cut Les Pauls and bolt ons.
Great job JP 👍🏻
These look good honestly
