The best hollow bass I've ever heard had a piezo in a mute in the bridge. That guy is probably right about his bass having the best upright-style sound
Maybe someday. The namm show floor isn’t a great place to try each one. These were all sold by the next day. Haha. I can’t wait to see what he brings next year!
I have been playing bass for 30 yrs...I couldn't take one of these and gig 4 nights a week!!!...just get you a good American G&L, MusicMan, or Fender. Thats the sound.
Not really an amp nearby in the boutique booth. Next year I might try to with the success of this video. The namm show isn’t super lending itself to playing them and you being able to hear them.

You’d have to ask Marek. I assumed they were DR’s or something. I have a coated rainbow set on one of the RUclips studio basses.
Thkse are Aurora strings. Enamel coated - my personal favourites even for fretless
